I Want To Steal You For A Rhythm Intervention...

Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
The warm weather is still here...
YAYAYAYAY!!
I am melting quite a bit - not nice!
I shouldn't be complaining though...
Anyway...
I thought I would do an old favourite post today and one that I haven't done in ages.
Yes, a Sunday Playlist!!
Well...
A Thursday Playlist!!
I've been meaning to do one of these for a while; but I always find something else to do. So I thought today would be a good time to do one.
Theme??
Well that is a very good question!!
And the answer is simple...
Selena Gomez!!
If there is one person who knows how to write a good album - it's Selena Gomez.
From her early music when she had just become a wizard to her latest album, there is not one song that I don't like. I think with every artist they need to have the ability to make you want to sing along and dance around the room - Selena has that ability. The amount of times I have belted out 'Whiplash' or 'A Year Without Rain' and danced around the room to 'Come and Get It'. I have always liked Selena's music and when I found out she was bringing out a new album, I had high hopes for it. I went on Spotify and decided to sit there and listen to the whole album. My opinion - LOVE IT!! You can really hear the maturity in her music and even in her latest videos. This album does not disappoint and although I love all of the songs, as usual I do have my favourites. If any of you haven't already listened to 'Stars Dance', go and listen to it because this album will be on repeat all summer.
Sit back, relax and ENJOY!!

I Know I Shouldn’t But I, I Just Can’t Stop Myself From...

Monthly Want - July!!

Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
Now today is a very exciting day...
HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY!!
Yes 24HoursFromWonderland has turned 2 today!!
I honestly can't believe it's been two years.
I remember one day Charlie suggested I should start my own blog and then one day I just did. Sometimes I've thought about stopping or giving up, but you become attached to this place where you've created your own world. Although they are days (sometimes weeks) when I don't post; but in my head I'm constantly thinking of new things to do here. I guess that's why I started doing YouTube videos. I wanted to try something new and to experience a whole new audience of people. Let's just say, I didn't think I would be still be here two years later.
Anyway...
As today is my blogs second birthday, I wanted to pick something special for July's Monthly Want. Now this AMAZING bag caught my eye way back when it first came out, but like all designer bags (and 50% of most high street brands) this beauty was out of my price range. I'm a huge fan of Mulberry bags and I love each design; but if I had to pick just one - it would be the Del Rey. I've only recently become a fan of Lana Del Rey and her music, but I unconditionally loved this bag long before then. After listening to Miss Del Rey's music, I can see where the inspiration for this bag comes from. Simple, classic, hauntingly beautiful - and that's just the bag! This bag encapsulates all these qualities and much more. With such a big price tag as this, I would literally use this bag everyday and I mean EVERYDAY!! I would probably keep it in a glass box surrounded by a shrine and then when I used it, I would protect it with a special case so nothing can touch it. Ok a little OTT but wouldn't you want to protect something that expensive?? This bag will just go with everything, whether you're going to work, out shopping with your parents, drinks with the girls or getting pissed in the pub. This bag will instantly glamorize any plain, simple or dull outfit and it will compliment any fabulous ensemble. To say that I love this bag would probably be the understatement of the century. To say I want this bag would SERIOUSLY be the understatement of the century.
Will I ever get this bag??
Well you know what they say - save a penny a day...
So probably in a lifetime!!
I CAN WAIT!!

We'd Sneak Out Back For A Couple Kisses And A Cigarette...

Top(s) - Primark
Dungarees - Vintage (ASOS Marketplace)
Jacket (behind) - Forever 21
Shoes - New Look
Bag (behind) - ASOS
Jewellery - Primark / New Look / Forever 21 & Accessorize

Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
Did anyone leave the house today??
It was HOT!!
Literally Lilly and I melted while walking home!!
(Well maybe not the literally part...)
Anyway...
This was me earlier today at my Nan.J's house.
Unfortunately my Nan is still in hospital recovering and while I was there yesterday, I asked if I could commandeer her house. I've been talking about filming a lookbook for a few months now; but because of work I never got round to doing it. I always planned on filming it at my Nan's, but originally my Nan would be there to help. My Nan agreed to let me loose on her house, so I decided to get it done today. I got to my Nan's house about quarter to 8 this morning, as I needed a lift from Charlie as I had my suitcase. I was soooo tired but I decided to watch 'Porco Rosso' which is my favourite Studio Ghibli and relax. I was half asleep when I realised I forgot the top of my tripod, which meant that I couldn't do my lookbook (also I now have to go find it). Thankfully my Mum was popping by, so together we filmed about 5 looks. As usual my Mum saved the day!! THANKS MUM!! Eventually I headed home with Lilly and melted, so hopefully I'm now a size zero. It's just been a relaxing but long day; but I now intend on sleeping for the next two days!!
To the outfit...
This is one of my looks in the lookbook and as usual it's based around my dungarees. Now because it was so hot today, I decided to have this look as my ootd. I picked up this crop top two weeks ago in Primark. I originally went in for a t-shirt crop top in white to wear with a maxi skirt, but they didn't have any in my size (so I got a black one instead). I was having a look around and I saw this one and fell in love. It such a great basic piece for layering and it has a little pocket on the left side. The best part about this top is that it is only £4!! £4!! A complete bargain and I think I might have to pick it up in black. Primark has definitely upped their game this year with their stock.
I can't believe I've been up for nearly 12 hours!! I don't know how people do it!!
Time for a nap??
HELL YEAH!!

Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
I'm finally back again with an outfit post!!
I have been out quite a bit this week, but by the time I got home I was far too sweaty to pose for the camera.
I'm sure there are people out there who can sympathise with me...
Anyone??
I'm going to pretend you said yes!!
Anyway...
This was me yesterday after I came back from town and Tate.
I am now officially off work for 11 days (well 10 now); but I wanted to pick up some new uniform. The dress I got last week as part of my uniform (here); has now gone in the sale. Don't ask me how, as it was only a couple of weeks old. I was literally in a state of shock and I was not at all impressed. So I decided to pop in yesterday as I knew my manager would be there and get some new uniform. I already had a few things on hold, so I decided to try a bunch of things on. One dress looked nice but the colouring was wrong and I really liked a stripey shirt but I wasn't in love with it. In the end I got (what they call) The Amelia Skirt, which is a lovely pleather skater skirt with an elasticated waist and a zip on the back. The second item I got was the V Neck Drape Maxi Dress in black, which is a lovely maxi dress with a cross over detail on the front. I'm quite happy because I've wanted the skirt since I saw it last week, but I knew a few people had their eye on it so thankfully I got there first. The maxi dress came in on Wednesday when I was doing delivery, so I decided to put it on hold there and then. I soon left town (I did get doughnuts first) and headed home to do nothing for a few hours. Later on Charlie and I headed to Tate where we're planning the event Loud Tate. The meeting was alright and didn't last that long - well we left early as we didn't want to run for the train. It was a long day and still I couldn't sleep - typical!!
To the outfit...
BLOODY HELL IT'S HOT!!
Now for me as a young person who has never been abroad, this weather is far too hot for my sensitive disposition. I get so overheated and sweaty (it's not nice); but on the upside I can wear my dungarees everyday. I knew I wanted to wear my dungarees as the idea of wearing trousers is horrifying, but because I was trying on tops I wanted something underneath (so I'm not bottomless). I found this body-con dress from H&M in one of my vacuum pack bags. I used to wear body-con dresses/tops all the time when I was at college; I honestly didn't wear anything else. Now I'm older (and curvier) I don't wear anything body-con unless I layer it up. So I thought wearing a dress under my dungarees might be a good bet and thankfully it worked. I'm not a fan of me upper arms, so I chucked on my lumberjack shirt over the top. I accessorised with gold jewellery and a hint of neon for the perfect summer outfit.
Well that's me done for today!!
Like I said I have 11 days off of work and I don't have anything planned, but I'm hoping there will still be quite a few posts on here. My blogs second birthday is coming up, so I'm getting excited for that!!
To think I started this two years ago...

I've Got The Stuff That You Want...

Beauty Favourite - July!!

Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
Are we all enjoying the sunshine??
I know I am - inside my house hibernating...
The warm weather and I are not exactly simpatico!
I did pop out yesterday to have an Ikea breakfast/food shopping!!
I boiled outside and froze in the freezer sections - doesn't make sense!
Anyway...
I'm here today to introduce a new monthly post to my (almost) two year old blog.
Now this new post is going to be about beauty!
I know what you're thinking - beauty and me don't go! Well you would be right; but I'm trying to make the effort. I've always been intrigued by beauty, but I never made the effort to actually explore this unknown world - until now! Thanks to the world of YouTube, my eyes have been opened to a whole new world that I never knew existed. Due to this new discovery; I have become more aware of beauty products and what I should/should not use. My beauty regime is a lot more regimented and I don't use products that I know don't do me any good. So I thought that I might share my experience with you guys and see if it helps you out. This month's product is a fairly new one to me, but I don't know what I would do without it.
I have just recently changed to a different and lighter foundation, now because of this the redness/bumps (I don't know what they are) on my skin are more noticeable. Even with a thick layer of foundation you can see them peeking through, so I decided to look in to getting a primer. The last primer I used separated my foundation and gave me a patchy look, so I wasn't thrilled by the idea of looking for a new one. While in Bluewater the other week Charlie and I were in House of Fraser, as she needed to update her make up routine (new hair) so I decided to walk around. I was just wandering around having a look, I did ask one counter but with the £36 price tag I thought sod off! Eventually I was on my way back to see Charlie and I walked past BareMinerals. They had all their products on a little table and I caught sight of their primers. I was just having a look through, when one of the BareMinerals adviser's came up to me. I explained my situation that I'm looking for a primer, my skin is quite bad (again I don't know why - I blame Mervyn) and I don't want one that separates my foundation. The lady was so nice and she took me through the various primers and tested them on my hand. I think the neutralizing one was the third primer she showed me. As soon as she tested it on my hand I knew I wanted it, the only problem is the price - I honestly thought it would be expensive. £21! Bargain!! I immediately purchased it and headed back to Charlie. I started using it the following day and I'm so happy I picked it up. Because of the yellow tone in the product, it cancels out the redness and leaves an even skin tone for my foundation. This is definitely a product I will be repurchasing and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality primer at an affordable price.
It proves that when you're not looking for it, you'll find it!!

I Spend About An Hour Looking In The Mirror...

Dress - Oasis
Tights - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Forever 21
Jewellery - Forever 21 / Primark / Topshop & Vintage
Phone Case - David & Goliath

 Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
I've been away for practically a week - I apologise!
I've been working/being lazy and I haven't had any picture worthy outfits.
Well until now...
I apologise for my odd expression on my face; but I've had no sleep and this was 4 hours in to my shift.
Anyway...
Just a really quick one today (naughty)!!
This was me earlier today during my shift at work.
I don't usually work Friday's, but I've been doing them for the past two weeks. I was originally meant to do a 6 hour shift today; but my manager was nice and changed it to 5. I know knocking off an hour doesn't seem like much, but she changed the times as well so I did an early one instead. It went quite quickly and I did all my little chores, so I think all in all it was quite a successful shift.
To the outfit...
Now usually I'm not a fan of showing you guys my work uniform, as it pretty much consists of a coral blazer and a bunch of maxi dresses. It's that time again when I'm allowed to get new uniform and I've had my eye on this dress for a while now. There are so many rules and regulations that I thought might prevent me from getting this dress; or the fact that it wouldn't fit me - I was wrong. Last Sunday I found out that I have another cyst, so now I know why I'm ballooning and finding it hard to find things that fit. So when I had to try on uniform nothing was really fitting apart from this beauty. This dress has absolutely everything you could want! Its monochrome, it's floral, it's a shift style, it's the perfect length (hem and sleeve) and it will flatter everyone. I honestly thought out of all the dresses this would be the one that wouldn't fit; but thankfully it was the only that did actually fit. I would not only wear this dress for work, but also if I was going out for drinks or a family occasion. It is a little short when you sit down; but to be honest that doesn't really matter. It retails for £55 but because it's my uniform I got it cheaper then that. I definitely recommend this dress to anyone and everyone!!
Only a short one today as I don't want to bore you with the details of my work shift.
Now I'm going to watch YouTube videos to distract myself!!
Till next time...

In My Fantasy We're Running Wild...

Things I Love - July!!
Jeffrey Campbell Tardy Lo (Black) - £45.94 / Ebay

 Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
I've had such a busy week full of work (well 3 days, but you know what I'm like).
Not to mention worrying about my Nan.J (she's still in hospital).
On the upside I had my first driving lesson after two years!!
YAYAY!!
I didn't crash the car - GOOD TIMES!!
Anyway...
Although I have been a little busy bee, I'm trying to stay on top of things here in my little fashion world. I think I'm doing rather well, as I do have a habit of neglecting some important aspects. But I'm back again and soon enough you won't be able to get rid of me!!
Sooooooooo....
I HAVE ANOTHER PAIR OF JEFFREY CAMPBELL'S!!!
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!
Sorry I'll calm down...
NO I CAN'T!
I'M SOOOOOOO HAPPY!!
I think I'm more excited second time round about these shoes then first; but I think that's because I never thought I would have another pair this soon. I suppose it was the same as when I got my two tattoos this year (one in January and one in April); I never thought I would get them in quick succession. I honestly check the Soletrader website and eBay probably every week, but every week I never find anything I like/my size isn't in stock. By a sheer flook I was having a look on eBay and decided to check out the Jeffrey Campbell's. That's when I saw the listing for these bad boys - the Jeffrey Campbell Tardy Lo's. Now I have only heard of these shoes on occasion. Unlike their big sisters the Tardy's, the Tardy Lo's are not as well known (well they weren't to me). As you guys may know, the Tardy's themselves are without doubt the rarest JC's out there. This is part where I actually didn't realise the Tardy Lo's are just as rare. Anyway, I saw that these beauties were up on eBay and had only one bid on them. In the description they were listed as a size US11, now this made my mind go all gobbaldy goop. I think I looked at about 10 different size guides and then I just decided to bid. I actually forgot about the shoes until last Sunday (I bidded on the Friday) and I received an email congratulating me on winning. At this point I was slightly in an 'O M G WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?' I was so worried about the sizing/paying and all that jazz, as I've never bought anything off eBay before. I paid straight away and waited a few days, until I received another email telling me to contact the seller. I literally had no idea what to write, so I just asked about the delivery and apologised for being incompetent. Eventually I received confirmation that my Tardy Lo's were on their way to me. About 7:45am this morning the postman came a knocking and I literally legged in to the top step. My Mum came in with the package that I have been waiting for all week. I sat outside in the garden with my parents (freezing I might add) and I revealed the loveliness from inside. My first reaction was 'OMG they're higher than I thought they would be' but my unconditional love kicked in. They're just as pretty in person as they are in the picture. I honestly couldn't stop giggling and the excitement flowed through me, (yes I know they're a pair of shoes but they're lovely). I sat on my bed and took loads of pictures of them to put on Instagram (priorities). I was excited to have the Jeffrey Campbell box as well! I know that sounds silly; but I've always wanted a Jeffrey Campbell box (preferably with shoes inside). I ended up going back to sleep after deciding to try them on at a reasonable time. When it came to trying them on I was a little bit scared, I honestly had no idea whether they would fit or not. Thankfully by some absolute miracle they fit and they are so frigging perfect. They are insanely high (well for me); but the shoe boot look is amazing and they're really sturdy when you stand in them. I did have to pretty much completely unlace them to get my fat foot in; but they're still comfortable even with a swollen foot (it didn't hurt - good times). I am really happy with these shoes and I can't believe I own a pair!!
These may only be my second pair of Jeffrey Campbell's, but I am literally obsessed with JC's and I can't wait to build my collection.

Darling, You And I Know The Reason Why Those Summer Skies Are Blue...

A little inspiration for July!!
 HAPPY 4TH JULY!!
Independence Day!!
Let's hope it's nothing like the film...
Anyway...
THE SUN IS BACK!!
Yes it is lovely and warm and thank god it is!
I don't think I could handle anymore cold, rainy, windy, snowy days.
I love when it gets to the point where you can leave the house in a light jacket or a cardigan and be just nice. This makes going to work SO much easier and I no longer have to crease my blazer under a big coat. Summer has finally arrived and we can finally enjoy the long days and the longer nights. Every year this is the one season everyone looks forward to, whether it's because of the six weeks off (students), that relaxing beach holiday you've been looking forward to (adults) or that amazing dress that has been collecting dust all winter (fashionistas). Summer instantly makes everything better and we can finally enjoy it. Unfortunately there are downsides - hayfever! If any of you suffer with hayfever you will feel my pain, it's horrible and it completely ruins your make up. Evil allergies!! We must all look on the bright side - there's sun and its warm!
So let's all brake out the suncream, our best summer outfits and make this summer the best one yet!!

And The Sweeter The Song, The Sweeter The Kiss...

Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I'd like to hear!!
It's Monday!!
It's been an odd little day today...
I'm not at work.
Don't worry I'm fine!!
I'm just not needed today...yay!!
(If only they didn't need me tomorrow, Wednesday and Friday!)
I'm not exactly in the greatest of moods...
(It's a long and not a nice story!)
Anyway...
In the name of distraction, I have decided to do a little something different today.
Yes, today I'm doing a 'MONDAY PLAYLIST!!'
I know I haven't really done any of these lately; but just like everything else I've just been preoccupied by other stuff. So I have decided to do a 'Monday Playlist' to cheer me up. Now it's a no brainer when it comes to who I should choose. I have been obsessed with one album for the past week or so and I literally haven't listened to anything else.
Yes, my 'Monday Playlist' is dedicated to Seth MacFarlane!!
I think everyone loves Seth MacFarlane; he's just an all round talented and funny guy!! We all have seen the episodes of 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad' where the characters have sung, but I didn't really know how well Mr MacFarlane could sing. When he did the first BBC Prom with the John Wilson Orchestra, I actually stood up and took notice. For Mother's Day Charlie had got my Mum Seth MacFarlane's album 'Music is Better than Words'. I had never listened to the album before, until the other week when I was cleaning my make up brushes. I literally listened to the whole album and instantly became obsessed!! Of course with anything you always have your favourite songs and here are a few of mine!!
Ladies and gentlemen I present Seth MacFarlane!!
So sit back, relax and ENJOY!!
