I Even Cried But I Never Meant It...

Top - Monki
Top (underneath) - New Look
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - New Look
Boots - New Look
Jewellery - Topshop

This is apparently what you wear when you look half asleep and have to drag yourself to the library!
I don't usually go to the library, but when I do, I like to look on point (and yet half dead).  I pretty much based this outfit around my new-ish grey boots from New Look.  For £13 in the sale, these are the bargain of the century!  I paired my mesh tunic with just a simple pair of black jeans, for a layered look.  I added a leather jacket for a grungier look and the chunky necklace, because I'm obsessed with chunky necklaces (inventive).
I have to admit, I felt pretty badass in this outfit - mesh and leather does the trick!

p.s. I have discovered I can't stand on one leg (hence the arm).

Hop A Flight To Miami Beach, Or To Hollywood...

Top - Primark
Trousers - Vintage (£4.50)
Coat - Vintage (£9.99)
Shoes - New Look
Jewellery - Primark
Sunnies - Depop

I assure you I'm not hungover or a celebrity, but for some reason, I look as if I'm both in this outfit.  This was my Thursday morning seminar outfit.  I wanted to wear my new faux fur coat from the charity shop.  It instantly adds a bit of glamour to a weekday morning.  I think because my flatmate went to see 'Wicked' the night before, I was influenced by Elphaba.  Yes, this is the same top that I keep wearing but in green.  I think a simple high neck top is a statement piece to have in your wardrobe.  I think everyone needs a pair of velvet trousers.  I found these in a charity shop back at home and they are simply amazing.  The best part is - they have an elasticated waist!! (Granny over here!)  They add another slice of luxury to an otherwise basic outfit.
This is my favourite kind of outfit - simple, glamorous and has a hint of vintage in it.
Gotta love vintage!

I'm Bad Behaviour But I Do It In The Best Way...

Top - New Look
Trousers - Asos
Jacket - Vintage (£11)
Shoes - New Look
Bag - New Look
Scarf - River Island

I look as if I should be behind bars!
This look can only be described as 'SHIT! Melissa (my friend) is nearly at uni and I'm still in my pyjamas'.  This is my default outfit for university.  I love pairing these high waisted boyfriend jeans with cropped pieces.  The monochrome combination is one you can't fault.  I do feel like a robber in this outfit.  I accessorised with gold jewellery, but as the top has a high neck, I decided on big hoops rather than a necklace.  The metallic bag as a bit of colour and also it's new, so I wanted to show it off.  The camo jacket is purely for fashion rather than function (I froze).  It's a casual outfit that could easily be dressed up with heels and a fitted blazer for evening.
I love wearing this for uni, I just wish it wasn't so darn cold!

It Comes Down To Reality...

March has arrived!!
And it's still cold, still raining and there is absolutely no sign of spring - yet (hence the wintery pictures).
But before all the talk of spring trends kick in, let us look at personal goals for spring rather than wardrobe ones.  Spring cleaning is a yearly tradition, where we chuck out all those items that make us feel like hoarders and replace them with new ones.  Now let's think about spring cleaning, but on an emotional level.  How about spring cleaning all those emotions that have had such a negative impact on us??  Surely this would be the perfect time to rid ourselves of those feelings that prevent us from achieving our true potential??  Let's spring clean ourselves personally, rather than just our physical surroundings!  When it comes to our wardrobes (just like our hearts), they need to be filled with love.  Each new piece you invest in needs to make your heart skip a beat and fill up with sheer joy at just the sight of them.  Just like our personal relationships, we need to feel that bond with our clothes.  When you're wearing something that you love, confidence shines through.  Fashion has the ability to turn you in to the person you have always wanted to be and we should all embrace that!
This spring, let us embrace the endless amounts of possibility that life and fashion have in store.
Until then, I'm going to stay in bed - it's freezing out there!
