Love Is Gone…

Jumper - Mum's
Trousers - ASOS
Jacket - Vintage (Mum's)
Shoes - New Look
Bag - New Look

Note to self - never wear your mum's clothes when you're hungover and feeling like crap!
I think I spent most of my time just wanting a hug from my mum, because I decided to wear her jumper - don't ask.  Anyway, I was hungover (and still am while writing this) so I wanted a little bit of comfort.  This jumper I claimed off my mum is a really nice pop of colour.  It's comfy and cosy and I just love it. I paired it with my favourite jeans, that I seem to be wearing all the time at the moment.  I chucked on my vintage denim jacket for a bit of denim on denim.  It's a really good way of doing the trend, if you're a bit too scared to do matching coloured denim.  I wore my comfy shoes and my favourite blue bag, to add to the pop of colour.  There's no jewellery, as I literally forgot to put it on.
I hate being hungover!

Do You Think I'm Pretty??

Top - Primark
Waistcoat - Vintage (£2.95)
Trousers - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Primark
Jewellery - Primark and New Look

I'm bringing sexy back - no!
I apologise.
I rarely go on nights, but when I do, I like to dress all in black and predominantly in Primark (as it would appear).  The top I'm wearing is actually a sports crop top inside out.  It's really form fitting and very flattering.  It does ride up a lot, so I spent most of the night pulling it down.  My 'disco' pants are my go to on a night out.  They are slowly falling apart (they are literally coming unstitched), but I love them to death.  I chucked on my waistcoat to cover any lumps and bumps that were showing.  I also put it on to hide the fact that the top was inside out.  I put on my go to evening flats and my little bag.  I accessorised with simple gold jewellery.
It's always nice to glam up once in a while.

Summer Blows Away...

Dungarees - Vintage (£11)
Shirt - M & S
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Vintage (£3.50)
Jewellery - Topshop and Argos

I am clearly overdressed in this outfit!
I saw a little hint of sunshine and I took a chance - that's the last time I do that.
I really wanted to wear my favourite (and only) pair of vintage dungarees.  Every summer, I literally live in these.  They go with everything and are so comfy (except for when you go to a theme park).  I paired them with my M&S shirt with flamingos on it.  Flamingos are my spirit animals and I absolutely adore them.  This shirt is a really good length and is perfect for dressing up or dressing down.  I put on my chunky cardigan simply because it was cold.  I threw on my vintage backpack and simple sandals.  I put on simple gold jewellery for the polished look.
I always look fancy for Tescos!

To Repeat The Situation...

Top - New Look
Shirt - Vintage (Hand me down)
Trousers - ASOS
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Gift
Jewellery - Primark, Vintage and Argos

I literally wear the same thing everyday - true story!
This outfit was put together purely because I was running late for uni and I had to chuck on the first thing I found.  Again, I'm wearing my favourite tank top from New Look.  I actually never take this top off (apart from when I'm asleep).  It's just so lovely and I am obsessed with it.  I picked out my Nan's shirt simply because it's amazing!  It's that pop of colour you need with an all black outfit.  I always get complimented whenever I wear it.  My Nan had good taste in clothes, (now I know where I get it from).  I threw on my favourite jeans and comfy shoes.  All my crap was in this tote bag that my sister got for me.  Not only do I love it because it's Frozen, but because it was waiting for me at Disneyland Paris when we checked in.  It's a good size and sturdy for all my stuff.  I accessorised with the usual simple gold jewellery.
Oh, and I'm blonde!

Be The One That Rescues You...

Top - New Look
Waistcoat - Vintage (£2.95)
Skirt - Topshop
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Topshop
Jewellery - Primark, Argos and Vintage

Positive!
Now I know some of you may look at this and think that this skirt doesn't flatter me.  On the contrary, this skirt does suit me, especially when it doesn't have the flash going off and highlighting certain areas.    Lately I've been doing quite a bit of running and I've started workouts.  I've been trying to eat healthily-ish and I'm walking everywhere.  Because of all this (and encouragement from my flatmates and friends), I have become a lot more body confident and I want to wear items that I wouldn't normally wear.
This leads us on to the outfit!
Again, I'm wearing the same top as yesterday (I am literally obsessed).  It's just a great basic piece that I wish I bought several of.  This skirt is absolutely amazing and kind of scares me at the same time.  I have been looking for a metallic skirt for the longest time, but I could never find an affordable one.  I found this golden beauty for £4. 50!!  A blooming bargain!  It's outrageous and I completely adore it.  I paired it with my vintage waistcoat to tone down the skirt and added my spiked flats for edge.  Again I accessorised with the old faithful pieces.
I'm solid gold baby!!
(I apologise.)

Through The Clouds, You'll See The Blue...

Top - New Look
Skirt - New Look
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Topshop
Jewellery - Argos, Primark and Vintage

This is how I look when my parents come to visit!
I can do ladylike - well, at least I try to.  I had half an hour to get dressed yesterday morning and even when my parents arrived, I still wasn't ready.  I went for a plain oversized tank top, as I am literally obsessed with this top.  I think I wear it everyday (I'm even wearing it right now).  It's a really good layering piece and also on it's own.  This skirt is a new sale purchase from New Look.  I actually nearly bought this skirt when it was full price, but I was convinced it wouldn't suit me - how wrong I was!  It's  a lovely skater style, with a really nice monochrome print.  For £8 - it's a bargain!  I paired this with my favourite cardigan, a pair of spiked flats and my new bag.  Of course I finished off with the usual simple gold jewellery.
I can do girly!

But The Secret Is Still My Own...

Top - Primark
Trousers - Primark
Jacket - New Look
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Topshop
Jewellery - Primark, Argos and Vintage

I literally wear the same thing everyday!
My wardrobe is rather colourful, but I am always drawn to my little monochrome section.  Anyway, I put this outfit together quite quickly, as I was hungry and I didn't want to go in to the kitchen in my jammies (the downside of halls).  This top has made an appearance far too often on here.  I just love wearing it at the moment, whether in the black or the white.  I'm again wearing the Primark trousers I refuse to take off.  They are so comfort and really flattering.  I paired them with a simple pair of flats and my faithful pleather jacket.  Again I opted for my new bag, which I'm even more obsessed with every time I look at it.  I finished off with the usual simple gold jewellery.
We need a bit of comfort for the cinema!

Darling, Hold My Hand...

Top - Monsoon
Trousers - Primark
Coatigan - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Topshop
Jewellery - Argos and Topshop
Cat Ears - Miss Selfridge
Lipstick - Mac

I apologise if I look half asleep in these photos, but unfortunately I actually was.  Oh and at some point during the taking of these photos, I had completely forgotten that I was wearing my cat ears.  Anyway, after changing in to countless outfits, I decided to wear this one to the cinema to see the ballet (which was amazing, that I now want to be a ballerina).  Again I'm wearing another basic, but it's my absolute favourite white shirt.  I haven't worn this in a while (I think), so I decided to pop it on for a more sophisticated look.  I am wearing joggers, because the idea of wearing jeans was too gruesome for a Tuesday evening.  I decided to pair it with my comfy slip ons and my lovely coatigan, as it was blustery outside.  I am debuting my new little bag that I adore.  I picked it up last week, as it was 20% off with student discount.  I had a mini eureka moment when I saw it and I knew it had to be mine.  It gives the overall look more of a put together vibe, rather than a 'I just chucked this one because I didn't know what to wear' one.  I finished it off with my usual gold jewellery for a bit of colour.
I'm back to my monochrome ways!

Today She's Half-Forgotten...

Top - Primark
Trousers - New Look
Cape - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Primark
Jewellery - H&M, Argos and Vintage

Just call me Norma Desmond darling!
Firstly, pictures like this really make me wish I wore make up more often.  Secondly, I seriously look like Norma Desmond from Sunset Boulevard in this outfit - I'm not complaining.  And thirdly, I should really clean my camera lens - apologies!!
This was another spontaneous outfit to go to a jazz event with my sister (she came to visit for the weekend).  I put on the long sleeve top, as the weather has been so unpredictable at the moment.  It's a really good basic and I know I keep wearing it, but I just blooming love it.  The trousers are a new addition to my wardrobe.  They are a lovely cheesecloth material and are nice and airy.  At £14.99, they were an absolute steal!  It's just nice to find a pair of wide leg trousers that are long enough for me.  I finished off the look with my mexican style cape that I keep on wearing at the moment and my flatforms, so my trousers wouldn't drag on the ground.  I matched with a little black bag (usually my clubbing bag) and a statement necklace.
Comfort with a theatrical twist!

Every Sunday's Getting More Bleak...

Top - New Look
Trousers - ASOS
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - New Look
Jewellery - Primark, Argos and Vintage

Same old me!
Nothing beats a simple outfit, that you spontaneously chucked on to pop in to town with.  That is literally what happened, after my previous plans were cancelled (loner me).  To the outfit - I've had this tank top for a while now, but I keep forgetting about it.  It's nice and lightweight and has the right amount of bagginess.  It's a really good basic to have in your wardrobe and it's a bargain.  I went for my favourite high waisted jeans.  They continue to make me look slimmer than I actually am and flatter me.  I think I wear these jeans far too often, but I'm literally in love with them.  I chucked on a big cardigan to keep me warm (it didn't) and my 'permanently glued to my feet' shoes.  Again, I added the metallic bag for a dash of colour on this rather grey day.
Can't beat a bit of comfort!

If It’s Lost Without A Trace...

Shirt - Vintage (£3.00)
Skirt - New Look
Coat - Vintage (£3.50)
Shoes - New Look
Bag - New Look
Jewellery - Topshop, Disney and Vintage

Carrie Bradshaw meets Audrey Hepburn!
Don't I look rather sophisticated, which is completely out of my comfort zone.  This outfit came about after chucking on half my wardrobe and subsequently, chucking it right back off again.  This was last nights outfit when I went to see Caro Emerald.  Not only was she amazing, but I fell in love with her lead guitarist (love him).  Unfortunately in the venue I ended up keeping my coat on, but I'm still glad I wore this.  The shirt is a little bit more daring than I usually do, but that's why I like it.  I'm trying to be a little bit more out there with my style lately.  It's perfect for layering and gives a demure look with a twist.  To balance out the shirt, I decided to opt for my midi skirt.  I seriously don't wear this skirt enough!  It always looks so flattering and goes with a lot of things.  I went for simple flats as I had a bit of walking to do and my trench, just in case it rained.  For a splash of colour, I decided on my metallic bag.  Practical and yet stylish.
I had a really good evening and I felt good in this outfit - win win!

I Had Watched You Taking In The Spring...

It's May!!
We're coming to the end of spring!
Summer is almost upon us and yet it still mocks us with uncertain weather and splashings of sunshine.  But I have to admit, I'll miss spring.  I love the first warm day of the year.  I love seeing newly born lambs. I enjoy seeing freshly sprung flowers and leaves returning to their homes on the trees.  I love that it's lighter outside in the evenings.  I love spring!  I know we've had rainy days and freezing cold days, but spring is the time we begin to regain hope that the sun will come out.  It's the prelude to the summer.  It's the time where we slowly start to accumulate our summer wardrobe and if we're lucky, get to test it out.  Spring is the time to be at one with nature and at one with ourselves.  It's the time when we can dust off our favourite pair of dungarees and start to dig out our favourite floral headbands.  It's the perfect time to discover a new classic pair of sunglasses to last you through the summer season and the winter sun.  Spring is a lovely time of year and that's coming from an autumn baby!
Now is the time to start planning for summer and more importantly - enjoy the sunshine, while it lasts!!
