Yes that is weird because I am weird!!

Moving on...

I feel like a walking advertisement for River Island in this outfit.

Although the top, skirt and coat was bought in the sale; I'm still showing my unconditional love for the brand.

Although I am a cheap skate for buying it all in the sale...I can't help it I'm a savvy shopper!!

Thinking about it I should be against them, as something I ordered off them disappeared and I'm getting a refund...UNFAIR!!!

Anyway...

Just a quick post today!!

This was me earlier today after I went to get x-rays.

Warning - this could be a boring post!!

So on Wednesday I went to the doctors about my dodgy knee, (which at this moment in time is being annoying). As you know I suffer a lot with my right knee and for years I thought it was a dislocating patella, turns out it might be an inflammation of the patella (don't ask). So I went in for x-rays today to see if there was another problem or something along those lines. Unfortunately I won't know until next week; but at least for now I have something to tell work (that's if they ask). I went with my Dad (my Nan.J had an appointment and my Mum went with her); there was hardly anyone there and even then I spent most of my time texting. Before you moan at me my Dad was on his phone texting too!! I think literally we waited about 10 - 15 minutes, which is the quickest time I've ever waited (generally hate hospitals). It was quick and easy...well I say easy I did have to hold on to step on to a wooden box (weird I know). I then had to lie on the bed on my right side, left leg straight and the right knee bent with my right foot resting on my left leg. Yes frigging human origami!! I laid there literally rolling my eyes the whole time. As soon as I came out we pretty much went straight home, I plugged myself in to my IPod and ignored everyone. Tiredness + my Dad's bad driving = ratty Becky!! I told you this was a very boring post but I wanted to do an OOTD.

To the outfit...

Fist things first yes I'm not wearing make up again!! Due to my bad sleeping pattern and watching Legally Blonde - The Musical again (I love Christian Borle); I didn't exactly wake up early and my eyes preferred to stay closed. Anyway like I said earlier I feel as if this is my homage to River Island, well either that or burgundy (a lot of burgundy is going on here). I have one new item to show you, this burgundy side split maxi skirt (here is the black one). I picked this skirt up in Bluewater when Charlie and I went for the January sales. As you guys know my goal for the trip was to buy a coat and bottoms. Now I've already spoken about my new coat, so it's about time I moved on to the skirt. I initially picked up a few pairs of jeans and trousers and then looked at the skirts. It was a jammed packed rail full of clothes, which in any other situation is my dream but in this case it was a nightmare. But by some luck I found this skirt and it was £10 and I knew I had to try it on. As usual none of the jeans or trousers fit but when I tried this on, I knew I had to get it. I love the dark colour, the side splits give it something extra and also it's so long on me (this is it high waisted). For £10 I'm definitely going to get my wear out of this even in the summer.

Well I'm absolute bore today!!

I can't help it with the impending weekend and of course that means work (BOO).

I should start cheering up!!

Town yesterday, out today, street style tomorrow, day with my Dad on Thurs and Friday more street style.

Ok we'll see if that actually happens, but needless to say on Saturday I will not be moving from my bed.

Or maybe I'll be a hermit for the week??

Just a quick post today!!

This was me earlier today after I popped back from my interview in town.

Yes I did say interview!!

At my last shift at work I saw a notice on...well the notice board about a new job opening in one of the concessions. You might be wondering why I would want another job (especially now I'm doing the contributing job); well you see this job is only one day a week like my current one. I know I moan about working and my long shifts, but in the work environment I seem to thrive so I guess I'm doing something right. On New Year's Day I popped in to town to see the manager and give my CV in, thankfully I know her so I didn't feel nervous or intimidated. I was told I would get a call but you know when you're not sure, I didn't quite believe I would receive one. So while out in town yesterday I had a voicemail asking to give her a ring back. I couldn't believe it!! I tried ringing back but my mum suggested I'd pop by, so after I got my tattoo I headed straight to see her. After having a chat I was to pop in today at 2:30pm for a chat/interview. I didn't exactly wake up early this morning, (alarm didn't go off) and through sheer laziness I decided to watch TV rather then wash my hair. Eventually I decided to get up and get dressed; and as usual I may have had plenty of time but I was still running late. I ran out of the house and straight to the bus stop and thankfully it came straight away. I arrived ten minutes early so I decided to look around the concession at the clothes. Needless to say I fell in love with half of the new S/S collection. My interview/chat started and it was just a friendly chat with some questions thrown in. Usually when I come out of an interview I feel confident that I did well, in this instance I honestly don't know how I did. I should find out by the end of the week, but honestly my gut is telling me I didn't get it because of everything. Well at least it's another experience I can learn from.

To the outfit...

I have two new things to show you here but one is a little unconventional. The first is this khaki pleather skirt from Oasis. I've been admiring this skirt for a while since I first saw in black, but with a price tag that was over £40 I thought maybe not. I then saw this skirt on the House of Fraser website for £12 and I considered buying it in the brown; but again I was unsure about the colour and whether I would wear it. While in Bluewater last Wednesday I saw this skirt among the sale, at first I was like "oooooooo" and when I noticed in was £9 and a size 16 my oooo turned into "OOOOOOOOO". I had a feeling it wouldn't fit as in Oasis a 16 is a euro 42 (a UK 14); so it would be a 50/50 chance that it would fit or not. This skirt fitted nicely but in this outfit (with a new pair of tights on) it's quite big. The camera doesn't do it justice but it is quite a light khaki. I'm still unsure on what to wear it with but I'm ready to experiment. The second is just a quick one and it's this lipstick, which is Rimmels Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss in 107. This is one of the three lipsticks I received from my Nan.J for Christmas. Today was the first time I've used it and it's instantly my new favourite. On the website it looks very purple but it's more of a burgundy colour. It's a perfect dark shade and it's a really good colour for this season. You will be seeing me wearing this probably everyday now!!

Well I've suddenly gotten very tired!!

I'm not surprised as I've been distracted by many different programmes (I can't help it); especially the new episode of Miranda!! O M G did any of you see Gary's face at the end?? Charlie and I were screaming "WE LOVE YOU GARY!!!!"

We got a bit too excited...

Btw a tattoo update - it stings but I'm coping (I do forget it's there though).

Do I want more tattoos??

Monday is here!!

I keep feeling like we're half way through the week not Monday!!

You see that's what I get for taking a day off, because now I don't know what the day is etc.

Doesn't feel like a Monday...that's probably just me...

I'm being weird again aren't I??

It's probably because of my mood it's been odd all day.

I keep blowing hot and cold and I don't understand what is going on with my body!!

I'm babbling again...

Anyway...

This was me earlier today after I popped in to town and accidentally got a tattoo.

You may ask how could I possibly accidentally get a tattoo, well I shall start my tale and we will see where we end up. I was popping in to town today as my new phone the Sony Xperia has been annoying me (yes another one). So I thought I would go in to my nearest Virgin shop and moan at them. I eventually rolled out of bed and beautified myself (took longer then expected); got dressed which was surprisingly quick and easy and finally left the house. I managed to get the bus pretty quickly, but sat next to someone who clearly needs two seats to themselves (twat). Eventually I got to town and headed straight to Virgin. When I arrived I told the lady my problem (long story short I can't get my Hotmail on the phone); she said I should ring them up and see what they say. So I was given a phone and left to my own devices, this is where I should mention that I think Virgin need to change their music. I got through to someone and it was pretty quick. The bloke basically told me to download the Hotmail app, as it's not gonna work on the phone...SERIOUSLY??? How is it fair that I have to download extra things because the phone is crap?? Needless to say by this time next week I'm probably going to have a different phone. Also while in town I wanted to enquire about a tattoo idea I had in mind. I popped in to True Tattoo and was quoted £40 which I didn't think was too bad, and then headed to Pain Devine (where my other two are from) and they quoted me the same. The thing about Pain Devine is that it is always so dark and they play scary music, also the bloke didn't even know what I was talking about. Eventually I headed back to True Tattoo as I heard good things about them. Before I knew it I was picking out a size, filling out a consent form and going through to the back. The tattooist was going to ask if I had any tattoos; but as usual ‘Courage’ on my back was noticeable so I told him about the one on my ankle as well. I always feel really cool when I say I have tattoos (loser I know). He put the stencil on me and asked if I liked the placement, so I went to check it out in the mirror and to my left happened to be a snake. Yes a snake!! Now if any of you know I am so deadly afraid of snakes its unreal; but I think I coped rather well I pretty much backed away. When I sat down I asked about the snake that is called Ozzy and is a Boa Constrictor!! He even said I could go say hello but I passed on the kind offer. Before I knew it he was doing the tattoo!! I coped really well by looking away and keeping one eye on Ozzy. It was over in about 10 minutes I reckon and I'm not gonna lie it hurt and bled; but I coped and it looks pretty. Here's a picture -

It did have a bit of blood around it but this is the finished product. I've only wanted this for about a week now, but I like what it represented about dreaming and believing (you know I'm a sucker for that). It's simple and is on my left wrist and I'm happy with it. My Dad did go silent when I told him and my Mum wasn't very happy, and here's me thinking third time lucky!! It now stings, hurts and kinda makes me feel sick, all these things I forgot about from the first two. Fun Times!!

To the outfit...

I have two new items to show you in this outfit today (I think this proves that I'm spending too much). The first is this top. Now I've been after this top for what feels like years but in fact it's been months. I picked it up in the Topshop sale two weeks ago in town with Jaime. The brand is 'Not of this World' and I love the name as I completely relate to it, it has an imagination or fantasy element to it. I love the print with the skull, owls and of course horses and it's a really baggy top. I'm so glad that my size kept selling out, because picking it up for £12 makes the wait so much better. I will definitely be wearing this top a lot in the future. The second and last is my new beanie. While in Bluewater we popped in to H&M, while Charlie piled up with clothes I drifted off to the accessories. I found this hat and thought it was really nice; it's just a simple knit beanie with silver going through it. I also picked up the matching gloves as I thought it would be good to have both. I tried on the beanie with two others; but this was the only one that didn't make me look weird(er). It was £2 and so were the gloves which I thought were a bargain, as the combined price of them originally was over a tenner (or something like that). It does look quite weird on me but I roll over the edge to make it smaller. I like it and it keeps my head warmer so definitely a keeper.

Well I am tired...no change there then!!

I'm forced to watch Cheltenham (boo) vs Everton (Dad's team); so pretty much I am bored out of my skull. On the upside I did just watch Brave which is such a good and funny film; I'm only gutted that we borrowed it and I can't keep it.

I recommend it to everyone!!

Maybe I could hide it...keep it forever...

Yes the end of the week has come!!

This week has gone at a leisurely pace which was actually really nice.

I've been busy everyday this week apart from Monday and today.

You might be wondering why I'm doing this early; well you see I have not gone in to work today. It seems having a busy week and with so much sitting down and walking; my knee has decided to go on strike and isn't working.

As you can see I am unable to work with a faulty knee!!

So I'm currently relaxing on the sofa while watching Persuasion (my favourite Austen); thinking about my busy week and the only two words spring to mind are BLOOMING HELL!!!

I'm going off topic again...

Anyway...

We may have said goodbye to last year but as we are only 6 days in to the new one, so why not take the time to look back at the best songs.

My favourite song of 2012 is David Guetta ft Sia - She Wolf (Falling to Pieces); but because I put that song on my last playlist it won't be featured here. Instead I'm going to pick some songs that I've liked from the past year, whether I heard them on the radio, music channels and even at work. Naturally everyone has different opinions on what song they like, I have to admit (as you guys know) I have really odd taste in music. So if this playlist looks a bit weird I apologise, but no doubt it'll end up looking normal.

O MG I am completely dead!!

I'm so frigging tired it’s unreal!!

I'm aching all over that the idea of work tomorrow makes me want to cry.

It's been a long two days and although I've been half sitting down/half walking; I'm completely achy, tired and dead (but not literally).

I'm moaning a lot today...

I do apologise but I admitted to being in a bad mood earlier, (this is what you get when you drag me out of a king size bed against my will).

Anyway...

This was me yesterday and earlier today in Cheltenham and after I got home, (that sounds a little bit confusing doesn't it).

Charlie was heading to Cheltenham overnight to go for a late Christmas meal with some Uni friends. I was not invited (meanies); but I had a pack of 4 ring doughnuts so you can imagine my happiness. Our day started quite late yesterday as I didn't want to get out of bed (common occurrence). We ended up dropping our Mum off in town and then headed towards Cheltenham town. We got some petrol and drove straight through for about 2 and a half hours (or maybe 3 hours). When we got to Cheltenham we parked in the car park (Mildred was parked next to a Evoque, an old Jag and an Audi); and decided to head in to town and get some grub. Charlie and I headed to Cafe Rouge which O M G looks like it just walked out of Midnight in Paris. I felt very Parisian in my Dr Martens (classy); the classic pictures hung on the wall and it just felt really cosy. The only problem was you had to walk miles to the toilets (typical me to point that out). We had a starter of a bread board and Charlie had artichoke tapenade and then for main I had, half a roast chicken with salad and chips (it's not as big as it sounds) and Charlie had an aubergine gratin. We didn't stay for desert as we were completely stuffed but what we had was lovely. Next we went dress shopping for Charlie but she didn't find anything amazing. Disney Store was next and because it was shutting down (see what happens when Charlie leaves Uni); and they had a bit of a sale which I didn't actually look at. I headed straight for the cuddly toys as I wanted to get Maximus; but when Charlie came over with a load of Frankenweenie things from the sale I decided to have a look. I managed to pick up a Villains Sweatshirt, Cruella De Vil T-shirt and a Maleficent cuddly doll. We saved over £80 in the Disney Store!! Next was NewLook which I wasn't really interested in, so I left Charlie to wander around to see if she found anything she liked. I picked her out some black baroque trousers which were down to £7; she also picked up a new coat and an aztec print dress. Overall a successful trip for Charlie!! I did enquire about a tattoo for price wise; but I think it's pretty much the same price down here. After picking up snacks in M&S (DOUGHNUTS) we headed to The Strozzi Palace aka my dream home. Although we had to go up a feck load of stairs we entered the amazing room (I will be putting a room tour on YouTube soon). Charlie soon left me to go to her friends so I decided to film two videos - What's in my bag?? And a room tour (that'll be up soon). I then went in to the shower which was a lovely 20 minutes I reckon. I certainly managed to relax and wash my hair (always a good thing). I eventually sat down around eightish and decided to watch a bit of TV; I did catch the new episode of Room 101 with Miranda Hart who was hilarious on it. I ended up watching 84 Charing Cross Road which is one of my favourite movies; it's perfect for any literary lovers or anyone who just loves classic movies. While watching the movie I finished off the doughnuts and then Charlie came home. We just chatted and then decided it was time to go sleepies!! I listened to my iPod because I was quite scared about how dark it was. Charlie did wake me up during the night as she wasn't feeling well; but then next minute I knew it was 9am. Charlie headed in to the shower so I had the king size bed to myself for an hour, so I fell asleep for an hour until I was woken up at 10am. I rushed getting ready as we were running late and headed to the car. We then headed to Cirencester - now this is the point where I won't mention too much, as I've vlogged my day today which will be up on YouTube soon. I did pick up some bread and 2 cameo ornaments which were a fiver each. We then headed home with a stop off in Reading service station for a Burger King. It feels good being home but I do ache quite a bit.

To the outfit...

Now I have three new things to show you today. The first appears in outfit one, second in outfit one and two and then the third in outfit two. The first is my nice brand new coat. As you guys know I'm not a fan of coats but I've really needed a new one, so I've been on the lookout but didn't want to pay over £50. I've been a fan of this style coat since I saw Lexi of Fashion Filth wearing the Zara one. I picked this one up in River Island on Wednesday in Bluewater. It was the last one on the rack and I had no idea if it was in the sale or not. I didn't want to pay the £75 price tag so I decided to hunt someone down to find out. When the lady gunned it she pointed out it was the last one they had, which I thought was nice of her tell me but I wanted to know the price. When she said £40 I was half O M G that's sooooo good and the other half was a flashing £40 in my head. I decided to try it on and make my decision and as soon as I put it on, I knew I had to have and that was that. I finally have a coat that I can do up without squashing my boobs and one that covers my bum. Thank you River Island!! Secondly is my velvet leggings from Warehouse. I've been on a mission to pick up bottoms to wear. I'm constantly in my old faithful’s and as soon as they're in the wash I'm lost, so on Wednesday I was on a mission to find some bottoms to add to my collection. I trust Warehouse when it comes to trousers, so I was hoping to find at least one thing in the sale. I picked up these velvet leggings and thought I might as well try them and see how they look. By some miracle they fitted and for £7 it was a no brainer. They're such a great alternative to the normal jersey leggings and from my old faithful’s. I did try the denim route but that just looks odd on me. It was nice wearing stretchy clothing. And thirdly is something you can't see that well; but they are my snake hoop earrings. Unfortunately my spiked hoops have broken and I need to find a replacement, so I decided the other week to just have a look on the Accessorize website. This pair of hoops really stood out for me as not only are they snakes (which usually I'm not a fan of); but they have green stones as eyes which make then so vibrant. They are a bit of a bugger as the kept digging in to my tartan scarf; but for £4 you can't complain. I did pick up another pair of hoops as well so perhaps I might wear them more.

Blooming hell I've finally finished this blog post YAYAYAY!!!

I apologise for writing so much but you know what I'm like, I seem to babble whether I'm writing or talking.

I've eaten way too much food today and watched not enough TV, so I think I'm going to even up the balance.

What about sleeping??

How are we all enjoying 2013??

It's been a pretty busy start to the New Year so I guess I can't complain. 

I just realised I look like I'm hunched over in this picture!!

I haven't suddenly grown a hunch (I promise).

I'm not wearing any make up as my Mum woke up late, so I woke up late and had to forfeit make up!!

Not fair!!

I feel like I'm really orange in make up at the moment...

Maybe I'm putting too much on??

I'm going off topic!!!

Anyway...

This was me earlier today after popping in to see my new baby cousin.

This is the point where I mention that there is a new addition to the nutter family. A little blue eyed boy who as of yet has no name (my aunt wants Harry - yay! My uncle wants Max - boo!); but he is so adorable and small. He was 8 pound 9 ounces when he was born which is a whole pound less then me, so yes that means I am still the biggest baby out of all the cousins (I'm so proud). Bruiser (as we call him) was born on New Years Eve so you can imagine how small he is. Yesterday while in Bluewater (you can watch Charlie and I's shopping vlog here); we bought a bunch of little outfits for the little man and yes skulls were involved. So on to today!! We left about 9 something this morning and headed for a McDonald's breakfast (I need to diet NOW); I do enjoy a breakfast but I only have it on special occasions. I will say it was quite interesting resting my big breakfast on a cushion, while trying to eat with a knife and fork and making sure the hash browns didn't run away. It was slightly chaotic as you can tell. We had to go via Bluewater as one of the outfits we got Bruiser still had the security tag on. You'd be surprised how often that actually happens and it's annoying!! I didn't mind going back to Bluewater but I did just go to have a go at the Virgin Mobile guy. After sending my phone back 8 times in a space of 10 months and having 7 replacements, I'm so sick of it and I'm either going to demand a brand new non HTC phone or buy out of my contract. So when we back on the road it was general singing along to the musicality CD I made with Charlie. Eventually we arrived in Chatham where my aunt and (now) three cousins reside on a very big hill. I take one look at this hill and went hell no!! Again I'm going off topic... The boys Mason (4) and Jack (2) opened the door and OMG my parents weren't kidding when they said Jack is small. He's tiny considering he's 2 years old; poor little thing. I caught sight of my auntie/godmother Lisa and in her arms was a small little tigger. Honestly I wanted to grab him and run away with him because he looked so cute. I managed to have a cuddle with him (below);

at one point he did start crying but after my Mum took him away he soon calmed down. My cuddle was extended (that's when this was taken); he fell asleep on me just like Jack did when he was a baby. This little Bruiser is so lovely!! Both Mum and Charlie had nice long hugs with the little man, while we all juggled the boys grabbing our attention and of course talking to Lisa. It was really nice seeing them all as I haven't seen them in over a year. I do definitely have moments when I want a baby, especially when I was holding Bruiser but when he started crying I came back to reality. It's easier to have them as cousins then you can hand them back. Even though he's only 3 days old he is certainly part of the family.

To the outfit...

Now I am wearing three new items in this outfit!! First is my t-shirt which unfortunately you can't see that well in either pictures; but is certainly something that relates to me. I purchased this t-shirt on last pay day online at New Look. I was instantly drawn to this t-shirt for the slogan 'College Dropout' (you can see why I liked it). It was £8.99 and New Look's version of the Topshop 'Geek' t-shirts (which I also have); but as you can tell a cheaper price. It is a thinner material then the chunky 'Geek' ones; but still a decent material and rolled up sleeves. At the moment I believe it only comes in black and I also purchased the boyfriend fit one. I will be wearing this a lot in the future. Second is my skater skirt from River Island (similar here). Again this was purchased on pay day from the sale for £10. I made a conscious effort to buy bottoms and not tops that I usually stock up on. It said burgundy on the website but when I received it the tag said purple, now it's a mixture of both colours and it all depends on the light. Which ever colour it looks like I still like it and think it's a good piece for any wardrobe. I did worry that it might be too short but it fits perfectly and it's a nice length. Perfect for winter and spring. Thirdly and lastly is this Quilted Spike Crossbody Bag from Forever 21. You have no idea how long I have waited to find a bag like this. I spend most of my days trailing websites with no luck; but I walk in to Forever 21 and I just casually bump in to it and fall in love. I was trying some stuff on so I made a pact, that if I didn't find anything else I would definitely buy this and I did. It fits all my crap in it (which is always good) and you know how I love quilted, spikes, chains and black. The spikes are quite sharp so I would be careful if you do buy it - well you should buy it!! Why wouldn't you?? I will be using this all the time (no exaggeration).

This post is longer then I intended it to be but I hey why not make it a long post.

I'm currently relaxing watching TV with my parents when I technically should be packing. Tomorrow I go to Cheltenham overnight with Charlie, so I will take clothes for at least a fortnight.
