Trousers - Warehouse

Scarf - Primark
Wow I look awkward in this photo.
Just a quick post today as not only am I half asleep but I've had a pretty boring day.
Today consisted of popping to the clinic (long story) and auditioning for Charlie's film project. I've realised I am completely no good at auditioning or in front of people full stop, now usually I wouldn't mind but this was in front of my parents and Charlie and all I could do was giggle.
Terrible I know!
Now to the outfit...
I've probably had this top for about 2 months and I've been putting off wearing it as every week I seem to buy more and more stuff; so today I decided to wear Daisy and I'm glad I did. Now this top is actually a size 14 (I usually buy size 16 or 18 to be bigger) and it's just the right amount of baggy and a nice sleeve length, plus the leopard print bow helps a lot too.
Now as you can see I am wearing leopard shoes, leopard accented top and leopard scarf it seemed necessary to be head to toe leopard today; it seems to happen more and more lately and yet I'm not worried I'm embracing it. Love the leopard!!
Home all day tomorrow which is my idea of heaven!
Well here's hoping...

Trousers - Warehouse
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - Topshop / River Island & Miss Selfridge
Look at my pweedy make up!!
(I promise a close up photo will be coming soon.)
I am absolutely shattered and this has suddenly become a daily occurrence for me even when I sleep till 12pm.
Anyway on to the activities of the day...
Today I popped in to town with Charlie and my mum. The main item of the day was to have my make up done at the Benefit counter in House of Fraser which of course was my favourite part. I decided on red shiny lips (by the time the photo was taken the shininess had rubbed off) and a champagne colour glow. I love Benefit!!
The second aim of the day was to find Charlie the perfect party dress and after trying on what feels like a billion; she decided on her original choice (this one) from River Island and of course with the sale on my eye couldn't help but wander so I treated myself to a graphic t-shirt, I also got a purple playsuit (my new favourite summer find). Today has been really good shopping wise (I also got a Freddie Mercury quote top from Miss Selfridge) and I fell in love with the contents of Joy; but I don't think I want to be around crowds especially now the schools are out.
Now on to the outfit...
I am finally wearing my baseball jacket from Forever 21! It's so stylish and actually it's quite warm (you wouldn't believe it) and for a tenner in the sale it makes it more of a bargain. I am definitely going to keep an eye on Forever 21 when they have their sales they're should be some good bargains.
Now as you know the weather has been lovely so I thought I would embrace the sun by wearing black, white and grey (I'm terrible). I'm also wearing my new grey vest from New Look that I picked up last week and I love it, it's going to look great with my black high waisted shorts and leather jacket in the summer months. And of course I am never complete without a hat and today was no exception by chucking on my lovely sequinned beanie that I'm obsessed with, I have now decided to start collecting sequin beanies because they are amazing without a doubt!
Now it's time to relax for the weekend and eat doughnuts.
Well maybe just me...

'Till All My Lover's Dreams Come True...

Prada S/S 12
Spring has finally arrived!!
I don't think I could take anymore of the freezing cold or the rain or the snow or the wind; (I hate the weather in case you hadn't noticed).
So with spring being here I needed some inspiration for a Spring/Summer wardrobe and I knew the first and only place I would look is Prada. Just one look at this collection and you instantly fall in love, you're taken back to the 1950's America when Elvis Presley was the object of every teenage girls fantasies and Rock 'n' Roll was invented.
Take me back now!
I am a fan of cars whether it's the movies or the objects themselves, so of course the idea of wearing clothes with cars on or shoes with flames coming off the back was the best thing since slice bread to me. The bright colours, prints, embellishments and flames this collection has it all.
My personal favourites are photos 1, 2, 5 and 7, each look encompasses the various parts of this collection, I think if I had to pick just one look it would be photo 2 it's one of those dresses that will go with anything and it's perfect for any occasion. (I would have said number 7 but sadly I’m not a fan of getting my legs out).
This collection is just versatile and I honestly think anyone can wear it.
Better start saving my pennies...

YAY!!! I finally have internet!!
So this week I spent a few days in the country with my sister at University.
I went from Tuesday - Saturday (with the last 2 outfits I was so tired and my Pyjamas were nearer to me then the camera).
These last 5 days have been exhausting but also a lot of fun.
I managed to do some shopping on Wednesday I picked up some things from New Look and the new love of my life a chunky cardigan (Thursday's outfit) from Warehouse for £15!! I also got 2 DVDs from CEX Cabaret and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (one of my favourite films) and a Tiana doll from The Disney Store (something I collect weird I know). For once my sister Charlie spent more money then me but fortunately she was smarter and bought an outfit not singles.
On Thursday we went to Cirencester which is one of my favourite places to go. As I am one of the most laziest people ever (I'm working on it) we didn't get to Cirencester until 1pm and headed straight to Anne's Pantry which is located in my favourite antique shop, Anne's Pantry is such a nice cafe and also very peaceful and they do really tasty food! While looking in the antique shop after lunch I spotted and bought a vintage chain print shirt and I absolutely fell in love, I grabbed it and bought it in a heartbeat plus for £9.50 you can't complain. While in Cirencester I also purchased some sweets (yum!), a vintage scarf from a market, flat forms (been craving a pair) and aviators both from New Look and a teal stone ring for £1 from Dorothy Perkins. Cirencester also as the most amazing church which I used to love growing up as it houses the Boleyn Cup (Anne Boleyn has always been an obsession of mine). Shopping heaven!!
Charlie and I actually did paint your own pottery at Paint it Yourself Pottery Co. anyone who is near by I completely and utterly recommend going along and doing some, the staff were really nice and it was so relaxing and now I have a funky cupcake to add to my trinket box collection and Charlie has a fairy cup.
On Friday I actually had a singing lesson for the first time in absolute years! I was so nervous (I hate singing in front of people) and you could tell but after a 30 min break and a game of pool; I went back in to the room and felt so much more comfortable and managed to hit a high D flat! Which I never thought I would ever be able to do.
As you can see this has been a very busy 5 day break I haven't even mentioned the long day and journey on Tuesday, hospital on Wednesday (Charlie needs an op on her jaw), baking on Friday and the long journey home yesterday! I look forward now to doing nothing for days and days and weeks and months and years (well you get what I mean).
So now I'm back at home and enjoying being back!
Let's hope my next 5 day trip is somewhere more exotic like Cannes or Morocco.
I wish...
Btw has anyone noticed how lovely the weather is!! Spring is finally here!! Yay!!

Your Obviously Going Through Some Adolescent Phase...

Hat - Marks & Spencers
Jumper - H&M
Shirt - H&M
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - Topshop & Primark
Wow I am completely shattered!!
So not much has changed...
Today I went to London with my parents and my Nanny M who I haven't seen since Christmas!
We all headed to Covent Garden which is probably one of my favourite places to walk around, I always feel like I'm in a costume drama with the buildings and the classical music that is always playing. I am obsessed with classical music and opera it's two of my great loves and today for the first time I went in to The Royal Opera House, I literally died (well not literally) I didn't want to go in at first I was too scared but I'm so glad I went in it felt like home. I was treated to 3 posters Cenerentola, Don Giovanni and Un Ballo In Maschera also Vittorio Grigolo - Arrivederci CD and a Royal Opera House pen. Later that day I also got Jonas Kaufmann - Verismo Arias CD I just love him and his voice.
I never realised how good Convent Garden is for shopping they even have an Urban Outfitters and American Apparel up there and I had no idea!! I definitely think my shopping trips will be taking place their rather then Oxford Street.
Now to the ensemble...
As usual this wasn't my first choice of outfit to wear I was planning on wearing all black and being very gothic but as usual with 5 minutes to go I changed my mind.
Now as you may know I never wear this much colour in one week let alone one outfit; so when this morning I grabbed my multi coloured shirt and pink jumper I suddenly remembered a post I saw on thisfashionismine, how Gwen had styled a denim shirt with a jumper over the top I decided to give it a go. It's definitely a look I will try again especially with this unpredictable weather.
As you can see I've stuck with my usual accomplices, my faithful Warehouse Ponte trousers the loves of my life and my feet did die while wearing these shoes (my feet are crying).
Now it's my turn to cry as my IPod has decided to play up!!
Unfair...

I've Been California Wishing On These Stars...

Vanessa Hudgens
I haven't actually done one of these in months!!
I must admit that I never used to be a fan of Vanessa Hudgens due to the fact that she was apart of a franchise that I absolutely loathe (High School Musical to be precise); but I am a fan of her work since for example Beastly and Sucker Punch.
As you know I'm a fan of baggy jumpers, maxi dresses, maxi skirts, flowy dresses etc so when I was looking at celebrity style I noticed Vanessa and I now want to steal her wardrobe.
I love her effortless bohemian LA style.
Vanessa is definitely one of my style inspirations she's always well dressed whether it's be casual or at an event.
Overall I think I need her wardrobe...all agreed...yes!!

Who Promise Fortune And Fame...

Hat - Forever 21
Dress - Charity Shop
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Leggings (underneath) - Topshop
Jacket - Primark
Boots - Shoe Zone
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - H&M / Topshop & Miss Selfridge
Sunnies - Primark
Wow I look slim in this photo!
(Thank you Mum.)
I'm just going to take a moment and say how lovely the weather is today. I actually saw a kid eating an ice lolly I was so proud.
Now I know when I wear sunnies I'm not wearing any make up but today that's not true, it was more like make up gone wrong so I had to put the sunnies on for the photo (any excuse).
Now today I popped in to town to meet up with my friend Jaime for a gossip and a coffee. I had an aim today of purchasing a new lipstick because for some reason I keep wearing them at the moment which is rare for me. I already own a red, red/pink, hot pink, light purple, dark purple, nude, coral and a dark purpley/brown; it does sound like a lot but really it isn't (I end up wearing the dark purple a lot). So I made it my mission to branch out...it didn't go too well; I couldn't find colours I liked so I decided to just pick up a lipstick that I liked the look of so I decided on MUA Makeup Academy - Shade 3, which is a luscious deep pinky/red colour perfect for me. I also picked up a Little Pink Tin and NYC Eyelashes.
Now to the outfit...
I would like to point out my beanie which you can't actually see because the sun decided to be annoying and ruin it; but this is my multi-coloured sequinned beanie from Forever 21 which makes me feel like I'm in the 70's. I don't know what it is about sequinned beanies but you can just chuck it on with a plain outfit and it looks amazing.
As you know on Friday I went to West Wickham with my Mum and I picked up this maxi dress and I love it!! It's so comfortable and keeps you warm I'm really glad I decided to get it.
Jaime and I agreed that I was in my normal colour palette pretty much my uniform today. I always feel more comfortable in black and grey I guess when you're so used to wearing the same colours over and over again; you don't dare try something new (anti-colour here).
I will mention about why I always wear a vest top underneath my clothes it's because it's my equivalent to thermals, I like to keep warm and especially if you wear something too short or see through it's nice to have that protection.
I'm more of a 90 year old then a 19 year old...
Fun...

I Threw A Wish In The Well...

Hat - Marks & Spencers
Jumper - Cheap Monday
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - Next
Bag - Primark
Jewellery - H&M / River Island & Topshop
Sunnies - Primark
Again no make up hence the sunnies (I’m terrible).
For the billionth time in my life, I had grown attached to my bed and then decided to spend 20 minutes trying to decide what to wear; never a good combination.
Today’s adventure consisted of my Mum and I heading to West Wickham.
I like going to West Wickham because we rarely ever go and their charity shops are really good, you always manage to find a bargain. After drooling over a PPQ dress (which I sadly didn't get as when I tried it on it wasn't for me); I managed to pick up 2 Penguin Classics: Nineteen Eighty Four - George Orwell & The Girls of Slender Means - Muriel Spark. I've always heard good reviews about Nineteen Eighty Four so when my Mum found it on the shelf for a £1 I knew I had to get it, in another charity shop we managed to fine The Girls of Slender Means now I must admit I had never heard of the novel before but it appealed to me while reading the blurb (and it was 60p!!!).
I did end up getting a grey marl maxi dress and not only is it long enough for me but the sleeves are nice and long to hide my hands in. I do love a good maxi dress.
Now to the outfit...
I was originally planning on wearing a glamorous outfit (with my new Butler & Wilson necklace and everything); but with the deadline to leave the house I just wanted to chuck anything on.
I grabbed my Cheap Monday jumper (the love of my life); along with my old faithful Warehouse trousers and leopard shoes (every outfit needs a bit of leopard). Now the bag you see in the picture is my new purchase from Primark yesterday, it's a bag that I've been after for a few months and I had been putting off buying it until yesterday when I decided to take the plunge. I must say I'm rather glad I did, I love black and gold together, the chain handle is a nice touch plus it can fit all my rubbish I carry around with me and it'll be perfect for a night out.
I now believe Saturday should be national sleep day. All agreed...yes!
Time to get some practice in.
Any excuse...

Pennies And Dimes For A Kiss...

Hat - Marks & Spencers
Top - Primark
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - River Island
Boots - Shoe Zone
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - Accessorize / Miss Selfridge & Topshop
I'm a bit of a poser aren't I?
I have been a little bit more lazier then usual this week. For some reason tiredness has descended over me like a rain cloud and insists on following me around.
Anyway enough of my moaning, today I popped in to town to pick up some essentials. I have been after a pack of 3 bracelets from H&M with Paris, London & New York on them; now I will say my local H&M is very good for the Divided range but never any good when it comes to accessories or jewellery (it got to the point where I would pester my mum to buy things online...never works). Now to my surprise I went in to H&M today and low and behold the bracelets were there!! I will admit I have never grabbed anything more quickly in my life but I'm definitely happy I have them.
I also picked up some pens, notebooks, a pack of two flower studs, a black and gold bag and the most cutest denim-esque belted dress from Primark for £10!! I didn't even bother trying it on I bought it straight away (in case you were wondering it fits nicely).
Now on to the outfit...
I figured out some outfits that I was determined to wear this week so as I looked down the list I knew immediately this was the one I wanted to wear. Now to me this outfit has the right comnination of nautical with the white, blue and red not forgetting my gold jewellery.
When I popped in to town last week I splurged a bit on jewellery (my Achilles heel...yes I have a few); I saw this handcuff necklace and I knew I had to have it, there’s just something about gold handcuffs that make me excited (that came out wrong).
I'm loving my Rocco inspired bag I suddenly feel complete (yes a bag can do that to me).
I will mention my lovely blazer from River Island which is the best item I have ever pestered my mum to buy me, I actually haven't worn it that much but with the weather at the moment where it blows hot and cold its perfect enough to keep me warm and of course looking stylish.
Now time to watch Crufts which for me is the most dangerous programme ever!!
I want a doggie now...

If That's Your Fantasy...

Hat - Marks & Spencers
Top - Primark
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Skirt - Motel
Leggings (underneath) - Topshop
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - River Island & Topshop
I'm completely tired!!
I feel like a princess today in my maxi skirt. There's something about running up and downstairs in a long skirt or dress that suddenly makes you feel like Cinderella.
So today I went in to town to run some errands with my Mum and sister.
I managed to pick up one of the things I have been after for what feels like ages!! Ever since watching the final 2 episodes of Sex and the City for the billionth time I suddenly had the urge to buy some neutral colour gloves like Carrie wears; it then turned in to a search for some ladylike dainty ones and since my vintage search didn't turn out as well (I have big hands...weird I know), I decided to look at Accessorize and fell in love with a pair of white lace ones which I now own in black and I'm in love.
Now to the outfit...
You may notice a spiffing looking item on my arm which is my new bag off Ebay. Now for about a year I have been obsessed with Alexander Wang's Rocco bag and I noticed Gwen from thisfashionismine and Victoria from VIPXO had purchased theirs off Ebay; so a couple of months ago I decided to do some research and found the bag but unfortunately I wasn't able to get it. So the other day I convinced my Mum (after doing some more research) to treat me to the bag and I was surprised she said yes; and at 8am this morning my lovely bag arrived and I am in love and plan on using it everyday.
Also just going to mention my neon Minnie Mouse top which I got from Primark ages ago and I have putting off wearing it ,I felt too scared to wear bright colours (weird I know) but I just think the pop of colour makes the outfit, (well it's better then being all black...at least for today).
I promise I won’t blabber on anymore (and if anything doesn’t make sense I apologise for that too); tiredness slowly kicking in.
Now I'm settled in and watching Fairly Odd Parents...my guilty pleasure.
I love Poof!!!

Hold Onto This Lullaby...

Hat - Primark
Jumper - Cheap Monday
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Jacket - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Boots - Shoe Zone
Jewellery - Topshop / Miss Selfridge & River Island
I apologise for the dodgy photo but the light and my camera decided not to work together.
Today I went to Victoria to pick up my sister.
After a mad dash out the door, running for the train and then spending 3/4 of the journey putting on my hot pink lipstick (smells like raspberries and I felt it was needed); I decided to prioritise by heading straight to Costa for a muffin (which was delicious thank you for asking).
Now I am a bit annoyed about the photo because I actually really liked my outfit today.
(Makes a change).
This week is Paris Fashion Week. Am I jealous? Of course not (completely); if there's one fashion week I would love to go to it would be Paris. Parisians have a chic way of dressing it's just so effortless and as much as I like being a Londoner I wouldn't mind being a Parisian.
Now about the outfit...
This is my new Cheap Monday jumper that I purchased at London Fashion Weekend; it is without a doubt my new favourite piece in my wardrobe. It literally looks like someone has stretched it two sizes to big for me even though it's a medium!! As soon as my sister saw it she immediately wanted to steal it so for a tenner it's an absolute bargain.
I'm quite please I'm updating my blog more often now then I did; even though it is now March it's going to be my new years resolution.
Let's hope I don't break this one...
