YAY!!! I finally have internet!!
So this week I spent a few days in the country with my sister at University.
I went from Tuesday - Saturday (with the last 2 outfits I was so tired and my Pyjamas were nearer to me then the camera).
These last 5 days have been exhausting but also a lot of fun.
I managed to do some shopping on Wednesday I picked up some things from New Look and the new love of my life a chunky cardigan (Thursday's outfit) from Warehouse for £15!! I also got 2 DVDs from CEX Cabaret and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (one of my favourite films) and a Tiana doll from The Disney Store (something I collect weird I know). For once my sister Charlie spent more money then me but fortunately she was smarter and bought an outfit not singles.
On Thursday we went to Cirencester which is one of my favourite places to go. As I am one of the most laziest people ever (I'm working on it) we didn't get to Cirencester until 1pm and headed straight to Anne's Pantry which is located in my favourite antique shop, Anne's Pantry is such a nice cafe and also very peaceful and they do really tasty food! While looking in the antique shop after lunch I spotted and bought a vintage chain print shirt and I absolutely fell in love, I grabbed it and bought it in a heartbeat plus for £9.50 you can't complain. While in Cirencester I also purchased some sweets (yum!), a vintage scarf from a market, flat forms (been craving a pair) and aviators both from New Look and a teal stone ring for £1 from Dorothy Perkins. Cirencester also as the most amazing church which I used to love growing up as it houses the Boleyn Cup (Anne Boleyn has always been an obsession of mine). Shopping heaven!!
Charlie and I actually did paint your own pottery at Paint it Yourself Pottery Co. anyone who is near by I completely and utterly recommend going along and doing some, the staff were really nice and it was so relaxing and now I have a funky cupcake to add to my trinket box collection and Charlie has a fairy cup.
On Friday I actually had a singing lesson for the first time in absolute years! I was so nervous (I hate singing in front of people) and you could tell but after a 30 min break and a game of pool; I went back in to the room and felt so much more comfortable and managed to hit a high D flat! Which I never thought I would ever be able to do.
As you can see this has been a very busy 5 day break I haven't even mentioned the long day and journey on Tuesday, hospital on Wednesday (Charlie needs an op on her jaw), baking on Friday and the long journey home yesterday! I look forward now to doing nothing for days and days and weeks and months and years (well you get what I mean).
So now I'm back at home and enjoying being back!
Let's hope my next 5 day trip is somewhere more exotic like Cannes or Morocco.
I wish...
Btw has anyone noticed how lovely the weather is!! Spring is finally here!! Yay!!
B x
