There's a bit of alliteration in that title, good old Tinkerbell! (The song is from Tinkerbell the movie.)
Hello everyone!!
I apologise for my lack of writing last night but it was about 11pm when I eventually got on my laptop to do it. As I said on Wednesday I was popping to the docs for a check up and everything is normal!! (Well as normal as can be.)
Now on to today!!
Today I popped in to town with the family not only to pick up a pair of shoes for Charlie; but it's that time of the month again (no not that) yes it was Benefit time!! I must admit I still can't get used to going in to town with no make up one but as soon as I’m sitting on that stool, I don't mind as I know I'm going to look fabulous. I did pick up 2 Benefit products today but I shall talk about that on my make up post - coming soon. I did pop in to the Accessorize sale today and picked up 2 pairs of studs that I've actually been after; so it was nice to see they were half price. Bargain!
To the outfit...
This isn't the outfit I was originally going to wear. I had this perfect outfit planned in my head very ladylike and I put the jacket and accessories on, looked in the mirror and changed my mind. So I ditched the jacket and the accessories and just chucked on my denim jacket for a more relaxed look. I did nearly have heart failure when my bag strap went funny but as usual my Dad rescued me and fixed it. The basis of this outfit will definitely be something I'll be wearing a lot; as it’s light and airy especially in this muggy weather. I'm sure I can do 1,000 different combinations.
I'm off to a communion tomorrow and I'm excited for purely one reason and that is I get to wear my Joy maxi dress!! It's been hanging up ready to be worn and seen as I'm not allowed to wear it everyday (mean Mum); I've been waiting in anticipation to wear it.
Tomorrow I shall be a princess!!
Prince Charming where are you???

Just another quick post today!
This was me earlier today when I popped in to town for doughnuts (very important); but also to head back to New Look for another jewellery update.
I had seen yesterday a gold Aztec looking necklace with turquoise stones on it (rough description) in New Look in one of the brands of jewellery, I really took a liking to it as it's not something I would usually go for but instead I went for the old faithful crosses. I did go back today with the intention of purchasing the necklace but as usual when I'm put in a room full of shiny objects - I get distracted! I walked around the jewellery stands for a while until I decided on this ring. I like the uniqueness (if that's even a word) of the design and its gold with black and white stones, there’s no doubt it was made for me. I did pick up doughnuts as well but I was not happy at the lack of ring doughnuts when I was trying to hunt them down. Thankfully Greggs saved me and for that I thank you. (Addicted I can't help it!)]
To the outfit...
I have been on the hunt for a black and a white tank top for a few months now. You would think I was searching for a unicorn but even then I reckon they would be easier to find! After months of trailing the shops and consistently searching the shopping sites I was saved by River Island. While looking through the website I found this beauty and when I saw the price was £10! I knew I couldn't go wrong. I decided to get a size 18 as I like it baggy but when I received it I discovered I needn't have got the size up. I did decide to keep it as I've been after one for so long and it'll do for what I want. It also has a dipped hem at the back to cover the bum area which I love, it is see-through but I don't mind that. It'll definitely be one of my summer staples. As I said above about the ring I purchased I'm wearing it on my right hand on my index finger, I got a large as a medium would have been an odd fit. I will definitely be wearing it a lot.
I am currently snuggled on the sofa trying not to melt.
I am popping out again tomorrow but only to the docs for a check up; but I will be doing an outfit post so I apologise in advance if I have nothing to say.
I will say goodnight for now!
Or good morning in some cases!
How about see you later...

Heart Thumps And You Jump...

Top(s) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket (on bag) - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - New Look / Topshop / Miss Selfridge & Dorothy Perkins
Note to self - don't wear black trousers and a leather jacket when it's boiling outside!
Never again!
Anyway after making the same mistake 2 days in a row I have now learnt my lesson.
Just a quick one today.
This was me earlier today when I popped out to meet with my good friend Rowanna who I hadn't seen for 7 months!! We had a good long chat (2 and a half hours to be precise) and a mini shopping excursion to New Look which I picked up two amazing pairs of earrings (here & here). I definitely think all you need top cheer you up or even a distraction is a good chat with an old friend. It was exactly what I needed.
To the outfit...
How cool is my crystal pony top??
I picked this up yesterday in Primark (yes I did say Primark) for only £8!! This has to be my star purchase of the month because it is without doubt the most amazing thing on this planet!! (You can tell I'm excited.) I was actually with my mum in Primark looking for a top for her but when I saw this top I knew I had to have it. I just think it's going to look amazing with high waisted shorts in the extreme hot weather. Here is the return of my beloved Rocco bag and how I have missed it; I've been experimenting in using colourful bags but I always go back to my old faithful.
I still have a busy week ahead of me so lot's more posts.
I'm being a good blogger this week lets hope I can keep it up.
Fingers crossed...

What A Break, For Heaven's Sake...

(I apologise for my lazy eye and goofy smile it's been one of those days.)
Just like this posts name suggests I was bored of my old hairstyle.
For a few good years now I've had the 2 length hair (and an ever changing fringe); so that's why for the past 6 months I've resisted running to the hairdressers begging them to shave it all off.
I have such a love/hate relationship with my hair whether it's the style (which is odd as it's always the same) or the colour. I'm also a bit OCD about it too (which is no wonder as when I was little it would always be cut short and I hated it). I've been in a hair rut for years as I always start to grow it and then hate the idea of the overgrown hair at the back, but for the past 6 months I think I've been a good girl.
I managed to get a special deal, which is set over a space of 6 months and you have 3 visits where every time you have something different done. So this was my first visit to have a cut and blow dry.
I love my hair!
(I think it was about time I said that.)
I knew exactly what I wanted but explaining it wasn't my strong point so instead I googled Alexa Chung's hair (yes I'm the person who does that). Of course Alexa always looks flawless (I mean that woman could wear a bin bag and still rock it); so it was hard to find just one style I liked but I did (this one) and therefore my bad explanation was interpreted in to a photo. I just wanted a bob all the same length and my fringe to be untouched and that's what I got (the back is a little shorter).
I go back to RUSH at the end of August to get my hair coloured ready for college (round 2) in September. I can't wait to get rid of my mousy brown roots!
Again I apologise for the state of me like I said above it's been one of those days but thing's can only get better!
Or will they...

And Once Again These Words I Had To Say...

Just a quick post today!
This was me yesterday when I popped to the docs.
If you've seen my Twitter you would have seen a tweet about me not having an operation. I had a cyst and I've had it for a few good months and if it didn't go on it's own I would of had to have an operation, thankfully though I went for a scan yesterday and the cyst is gone! No operation, no worries!
Yesterday was a day of relief after 4 months of worrying.
That's as exciting as my weekend gets as today I am relaxing on the sofa listening to Melody Gardot (I lover her!!); while my mum watches the Valencia Grand Prix (that’s only when she's not dozing off).
To the outfit...
I've wanted to wear this outfit for quite some time but I've always found that it was either too hot or too cold. This outfit came to my one night and although navy/green and grey may be an odd combination, I quite like that the oddness of those colours. I definitely feel as if I'm going back to my old ways of wearing baggy tops and of course my usual trouser and shoe combination. I decided to deck myself out in gold jewellery and I now like the idea of layering necklaces as I've never done it before. It's always one of those light bulb moments when you're staring at your jewellery and suddenly 'PING' it clicks; you grab a few pieces and instantly create a look that not only fit well together but goes well with the outfit.
I'm sorry if I started babbling I keep getting distracted by the noisy cars on my TV (I love Button!!!)
I'm getting my haircut tomorrow the first time in 6 months as I have been growing it, you won't see much of a difference but something will be different - I won't be wearing a beanie!
Or will I...

There's Gotta Be A Little Rain Sometimes...

Hat - Forever 21
Shirt & Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Topshop / Miss Selfridge & Dorothy Perkins
Sunnies - River Island
Bienvenue!!
What's happened to the sun?
I have to say it was warm yesterday and I actually enjoyed getting caught in the rain but I want the really warm weather back (or as we call it Cheltenham hot).
Anyway just a quick post today as I haven't done anything exciting (not that I ever do). This was me yesterday when I popped in to my mum's school to drop off paperwork (see nothing exciting). I think I spent most of my time looking for something to wear rather then actually being outside; but nonetheless after quite some time I left the house to get the long bus ride to the school (bus is on diversion). Let's just say I was home in less than 2 hours with doughnuts in hand (yes I'm addicted).
To the outfit...
I'm back to my old ways with my usual colour palette of black. There's something so chic about the colour black I'm just reminded of Chanel whether it's Coco or Karl Lagerfeld (even if I'm wearing something Karl wouldn't approve of – sorry Karl). I do wear the colour a lot but I find it's just so easy to throw on and pair with anything. Most of what I'm wearing you've seen before but I'm just going to point out my cross necklace from Miss Selfridge. This is actually one of the pieces I picked up on Wednesday and it was only £2 which I thought was a bargain, I really wanted to wear it yesterday but initially it didn't look right with the outfit (it kept getting lost in my cleavage) so after buttoning up the shirt I thought it was a nice addition to the look.
I'm enjoying a nice relaxing (and quiet) day at home.
Shame it won't last for long as Charlie is moving back home next week.
Help me...

Makin' A Crazy Ding Dong...

Dress - New Look

Wow this weather is lovely!!!
Now Mother Nature can you make it like this everyday as my clothes are not waterproof?
(Rhetorical question but worth asking.)
Today I popped in to town with my Mum for a few hours. I will say hunting for a child’s watch is the hardest thing to do especially when it's a boys watch you want (I did fall in love with a Hello Kitty one); I feel sorry for kids who want to wear watches especially if they're like me who are magpies in disguise and run towards the most sparkly watch they can find. In the end the hunt did pay off and it's a nice watch for a communion present (sadly no sparkles). My main intention in town was to pick up a new make up/everything bag and Boi-ing (yes Benefit make up again - I can't help it). I found a nice little studded stitched cream make up bag in Primark and a pearl - esque collar for £4 (bargain alert!!), a cosmic print sleeveless top (in love) and a fake tan mitt ready for the full time hot weather. I also picked up some really good jewellery from Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins and of course Boi-ing.
To the outfit...
I love maxi dresses! I think they were actually invented for me.
Ok maybe not but thanks to my long legs maxi dresses suit me (thank you Dad). I only have a handful of maxi dresses (black, green, blue floral, black floral and grey marl) but I don't have a block colour one that will go with everything (the green one is halter). So while I was having a goosey gander on the New Look website I stumbled upon this dress and I was hooked, it's actually a lighter blue then it looks in the photo (bad camera) and it has a draw string at the waist. It was only £16.99 which I think is great value for a piece like this and with all the details (the draw string waist, pocket on the left breast and a deep round neck on the front and at the back). Pretty much I'm in love! You can team this dress anyway you want but I did it simply with a denim jacket, sandals and of course an outfit isn't complete without draping it in jewellery; as naturally I did.
I'm popping out again tomorrow and Saturday so I'm looking forward to my Friday and Sunday at home.
Can I have a nap now?
Maybe not...

Oh No Darling, No Wind, No Rain...

Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 Collection
How fabulous is this collection!!
As you know I'm not someone who likes to wear colours and lots of prints but for this collection I would happily make an exception.
This collection has a complete vintage feel to it from silk dresses reminiscent of the 1920's, floral full length dresses that look like they've stepped straight out of 1970. This collection has it all. Who'd have thought florals, block colours and patchwork would all be elements in perfection.
My personal favourite looks are 3, 5 and 8.
Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for a good dress. One that you can just chuck on and pair with anything from a denim jacket, boots and even sandals, just looking at this collection is making me happy. I love the unique prints of the two dresses in look 3. The combination of floral/stripe/colour block dresses one with long sleeves and an opening at the front and the other with a halter neck and tie at the back, you can't go wrong I can imagine wearing this on the French Riviera. I love the simple elegance of look 5; a full length floral print dress with a tie at the top of the back is without doubt the perfect summer dress I can imagine wearing this at the Italian lakes. The two dresses in look 8 are the simple silk full length dresses everyone needs in their wardrobes; the simple colours and the detailing on each dress from the print to the cut and fit these dresses are perfection. Perfect for those long summer nights.
My overall favourite is look 5 I just think the dress is absolute perfection and plus I do wear a lot of red and blue. It's almost as if Marc Jacobs designed it for me!!
Well a girl can dream...

And Let Me Sing For Ever More...

Hat - Forever 21
Top - Vintage

Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket (in hands) - H&M
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Miss Selfridge & Topshop
My surroundings seem perfect with this outfit (my Nanny Jean’s house).
This was me yesterday after what was no doubt the longest day of my life!!
My family and I did a trip to Cheltenham so I could look at the University of Gloucestershire. I've got to admit that I was completely and utterly against Cheltenham and anything to do with it (still am); but after listening about the courses I'm starting to change my mind. Anyway my day started about 5:45am when it was time to wake up after only 3 hours sleep (my mum had 2 hours); then it was straight in the car and off to Cheltenham. I always forget how long it takes to get to Cheltenham and yet it seems quicker every time (except on the coach when it takes 3 and a half hours...well once); we arrived in Cheltenham early and so I beautified myself while we were waiting for my Godfather to arrive. Eventually my Godfather, Dad and I headed to FCH a campus of the University of Gloucestershire (looks like Hogwarts). As the day progressed I went (again) from wanting to study English and History to wanting to read something completely different (again I won't say just in case I change my mind). It was a very informative day and I'm glad I went, I enjoyed listening about the many subjects and it got me excited abut the prospect of University so fingers crossed everything goes according to plan.
To the outfit...
My outfit is very vintage inspired in this picture. I've talked before about most of the items I'm wearing apart from the waistcoat. This waistcoat I bought a few years ago for H&M in their L.O.G.G range and I instantly fell in love with it. You can tell how much I've changed every time I wear this as it's gone from fitting me perfectly to pulling, then to not being able to do it up and finally just not bothering. I'm a huge fan of waistcoats I just find it hard to find nice ones that go with everything. My favourite time to wear this waistcoat is in the summer with a vest top and denim shorts, my own festival look (without the festival).
I'm not yet refreshed from my long day yesterday but I'm slowly waking up.
No more open days till September now.
Thank god!!

In Every Smile Is A Trace Of The Joy...

Hat - Forever 21
Top(s) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Miss Selfridge & Topshop
Oooooo blue sky today!!!
This was me yesterday when I popped in to town to run some errands.
I was originally planning on going to Camden and stock up on some vintage but I didn't really want to do the train/tube combination, so instead I decided to simply pop in to town for a few hours. After waking up an hour later then planned I put my butt in to gear and got to work getting ready and out of the house. I looked in quite a few shops but Primark was always number one on the agenda. I always forget when I go in to Primark how big it is and how much stuff is in there, I felt overwhelmed looking through and a little disorientated at some points (too much clothes) but I did pick up some good pieces. I tried on a few items and fell in love with a long fringe top with a wolf motif (LOVE IT!!) and a leopard mullet hem skirt. I also picked up the Company magazine, a pair of silver heart studs and spike ear cuff from New Look and a peace ring and bracelet from Miss Selfridge. I would say overall it was a successful shopping trip.
To the outfit...
Again with the weather being unpredictable I wasn't quite sure what to wear so I ended up throwing this ensemble together. This bag is the one I mentioned here I wanted an everyday shopping bag and I've had my eye on this one for a while. It's perfect for running errands as you can fit absolutely anything in it and it has a zip across the top for security (very important); the colours are easy to match up with any outfit. For £22 it's a no brainer. I went for a nautical feel with navy/cream with gold accessories (my studs are big anchors). I've always been drawn to the nautical look it seems to suit me (well I do have an anchor tattoo); there's nothing better then chucking on as many anchors as you can on to one outfit...or maybe that’s just me.
I'm having a relaxing day at home today (as usual). Tomorrow I have another open day so I have to be up and out by 6am!!
Wish me luck...I need it!

Little Darling, It's Been A Long Cold Lonely Winter...

Hat - Forever 21

Top(s) (underneath) - Next & Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Mad House
Jewellery - Topshop / Miss Selfridge & Gift
Could I look anymore gothic??
Just a quick post today.
This was me yesterday when I popped out for an hour just to keep myself sane. I think I spend too much time at home at the moment (I've actually memorised the Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness theme tune); so I thought it's about time I get up and about and keep myself busy. The weather has been so awful lately I'm actually craving the sunshine!! No more rain Mother Nature, please.
To the outfit...
Now with the weather being so unpredictable at the moment I honestly don't know what to wear anymore! So in a blind panic I just threw this on an odd combination of grey and black. A few months ago I went through a shirt/jumper combination phase and I really liked the look; but with the weather warming up at the time I decided on more summery items. Like I said this outfit is an odd combination as the shirt is my old work shirt and I just kept piling on layers. I do like the odd combination but (I don't know if anyone does this); I always look back at my outfits and think about how I could improve it. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my outfits; usually I'll spend hour’s just putting combinations together in my head.
Clearly spending too much time at home.
One more day of relaxation till the busy weekend.
Oh fun...

I'm surprised by this time in the day I was actually still standing.
I woke up yesterday at 5:30am with only 4 hours sleep!
Yesterday my dad and I went to the Oxford Brookes open day. Now as you know I'm going back to college in September to do an Access course which is a year long; so I decided to start looking at universities now (even though I'm only looking at 3). Oxford has always been a dream of mine I've always wanted to go there whether it'd be university or just for a visit. I've been looking at Oxford Brookes for a while now to study English and History, so when the opportunity to do an open day arrived I knew I had to go along. It was a very long day and after to talking to a lot of people (even my dad was talking to the Sociology and Drama people); I felt as if I had all the information I needed (even if we did miss two talks). After all the enquiring that both of us did I decided what subjects I wanted to do, (I won't mention them unless I change my mind) but I'm still unsure about the idea of living in halls.
To the outfit...
Now I think by now you would have seen everything I'm wearing before. This actual outfit wasn't my original choice I was going to wear a Chelsea Girl dress from River Islandthat I have had for months; but unfortunately the weather is so unpredictable I didn't want to wear it and get soaked. Instead I planned 2 outfits as its replacement and this was the one I ended up choosing. It's a good mixture of bright summery colours and my signature black. I felt as if I looked like a good perspective student but still looked like myself. I even got a compliment from one of the tutors on my hat! That is why you should always wear a sequinned beanie, perfect for any occasion.
I'm not feeling too well today from all the stress and exhaustion from yesterday, so I've taken residence on the sofa and watching Disney Original Movies.
Typical Sunday...

Still Stuck In That Time When We Called It Love...

Dress - Primark (very old and altered)
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Leggings - Topshop
Boots - Shoe Zone
Jewellery - Primark
Look how long my hair is!!
I know I've been growing it since December but I've never let it get this long before since 2004. At least it's looking nice and this time I didn't plait it as I've been doing that a lot lately (hence why it looks so long); I also currently have 2 tone hair as my natural hair is battling against the peroxide in my hair. Unfortunately I prefer the peroxide part of my hair so my roots have got to go!
This was me yesterday just after I came back from the doctors (nothing glamorous). I had a check up and I'm being referred to some more people but nothing to worry about I'll be fine. I did get caught in the rain yesterday but I was smart and wore my H&M Mac and my big umbrella (the navy spotty one in the photo); unlike Charlie and my mum who went out in shower proof Macs not waterproof. It feels odd being the practical one.
To the outfit...
As I've said above, yesterday was chucking down with rain so I couldn't wear ballet pumps or a light jacket. I've had this dress hanging up on my door for what feels like forever. I remember purchasing it years ago just after my local Primark opened up, I would stroke it every time I was in the store and just loved how much it looked like a princess dress. I used to wear this dress all the time but as nature intervened it grew too short for me and would be an ankle swinger dress; so a while ago I decided to shorten it myself but my mum suggested I get it done professionally. Last week I was up at 6 in the morning and decided to have a go at altering it, so I picked up my nail scissors (yes nail scissors) and decided to cut the seam between the two sections. As I was cutting I decided to just rip it off and although on closer inspection it's all frayed I think it turned out well. I think it's now a dress I can wear all year round the only downside is I have to squeeze my chest in to it; (that's another thing nature interfered with). As you can see I dug out my old faithful boots again even when the heel is coming off the right one, I still love them and now I think I walk funny in them. I'm doing my own Ministry of Silly Walks.
I'm currently watching Shrek on CBBC channel. I love Shrek it's one of the few films I constantly watch if it's on (even when I have the DVD).
I wonder where I could find my own talking donkey...

Ace Of Hearts, Face Of Clown...

Hat - Forever 21
Top - New Look
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Jewellery - Topshop / Topman & Miss Selfridge
Sunnies - H&M
Afternoon everyone!!
I have had a relaxing morning in bed and am now watching Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian, love this movie. I think I pretty much love every movie Hank Azaria is in he has such a knack for doing different voices, plus who could forget he's the voice of Bartok in Anastasia.
Swiftly moving on, this was me yesterday morning when the family and I popped to IKEA for breakfast and Sainsbury's to stock me up on food (I have a weird diet). It was actually quite funny walking round Sainsbury's (now I look back) I had such a bad headache and felt as if I was about to collapse; so I spent most of the time just shaking my head to whatever my parents suggested. Not that I generally need an excuse not to talk my parents (typical teenager over here).
To the outfit...
Just like this top says it's random. As you know I don't do colour you'll only see me in colour on very rare occasions; but with the unpredictable weather at the moment I have been a little devil and experimented more. Now this top I purchased last summer for a night out (see here); it was a UV glow night at my local club and seen as I'm not at one with neon I had to find something fast. I saw this in New Look and I was instantly drawn to it I loved the cut out shoulders which if I'm honest I hadn't seen before. I keep holding on to it even when I'm chucking out clothes that I'm more likely to wear, I think that in your wardrobe there's always that one piece that's different and in my case it's this top. I wanted to carry on the bright coloured theme and decided to wear my raspberry pink cardigan. Last Autumn I stocked up on woolly pieces like jumpers and cardigans and this was one of them, it's not a colour I'd usually go for but I liked the fact that it was different. I haven't worn it as much as my other cardigans but that makes it a special item.
I have a habit of getting distracted while writing posts that it seems to take me double the time.
Must work on my concentration...SQUIRREL!!
(I couldn't resist.)

Hide Your Face, So The World Will Never Find You!...

 Hat - Forever 21
Top(s) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Unknown (some shop in town)
Jewellery - Primark / Topshop / New Look & Miss Selfridge
This is me trying to look natural; I can assure you I don't walk around like this.
Anyway this was me yesterday. I was meant to post this yesterday but when I got home around 6pm I decided to spend the rest of the day in bed as I was knackered.
So yesterday I went to see my Nan. M down in Battle. I never understand how whenever the family and I go down to Battle we end up staying for hours!! We arrived after 12pm and 5 hours later we were on our way home, I did nothing but sit and look at You Tube videos of my Nan. M's fan girl crush from Sea Patrol (an Australian series) and my many 'husbands'. I do enjoy going to my Nan's because I usually see her every couple of months so when I do get to spend time with her it's nice. There's only one thing I didn't like and that was the cold, I don't think I'm the only one who wants the sun to come back!! I'm constantly moaning about the weather.
To the outfit...
I did not dress for the cold. Instead I decided to wear thin material clothes and a crop leather jacket so you guessed it...I froze! Anyway this top from Primark is actually one I've had for about a year maybe more; I bought it on my way back from the cinema (along with this top). Last year was my crop top year where I would buy nothing but tops like this and they were perfect in the summer. I also have this top in a pink with a feather design which you will see soon if the weather gets nicer again. This bag is the one I mentioned on Thursday the copycat version of a Balenciaga bag. I think for a tenner it's a great price for something that from a distance looks realistic, I can't decide if it's navy or purpley/blue but either way it's definitely a bag I will be using a lot more in the future.
I'm currently watching the Diamond Jubilee on the BBC waiting for the Queen to come on to the balcony, I feel so sorry for all those people in the rain and the cold. I have only one thing to say to them...rather you then me!
Terrible...

The Serene Air After A Thunderstorm!...

Jumpsuit - River Island
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Accessorize
Jewellery - Accessorize
Bonjour, Hola! Ciao!!!
I'm being very multi-lingual today as I am currently watching a programme about the Queen's horses, who have come from across the world to perform. I love horses I've only ridden three times in my life but I would love to go back to it.
Now today I went to Oscar's the best restaurant in the world!! It's at a local hotel and we've been going to it for years every birthday we go and sometimes just 'cause we felt like it. Today was an early Father's Day celebration as in 2 weeks Charlie will be back at University and therefore one daughter short, so the usual clan went to celebrate. Like I said before we've been going to Oscar's for a few years and it does the best food. It's a buffet with so much variety and delicious food that even if you don't eat (like me) you will there, I always eat 2 starters, 1 main and a desert but on occasions I've been known to eat more.
To the outfit...
My main goal for today was to wear something that I'm not going to burst out of. The idea of wearing jeans, skirts and my faithful Warehouse trousers were completely out of the question and I always seem to wear dresses, so I wanted to pick something different. I purchased this jumpsuit in the sale from River Island (I can't actually remember when I bought it); it was a bad day for shopping as I was on my own and so tired but I was about to try a few things on when I found this hanging on the rack, I picked it up and took it with me. I honestly thought this jumpsuit was a dress when I picked it out and it wasn't until I was in the changing room that I realized it was a jumpsuit. It's more of a culotte’s suit but I just love the fit of it, it fits me in all the right places and I like that it covers my shoulders and cinches me in at the waist. The best part about this jumpsuit it was only £10!! Bargain? I think so.
I'm loving the Bollywood music and dancing horses.
I think I might just join in...

I apologise for my lazy eye as I said on Thursday I was so knackered and I could barely keep my eyes open.
Don't I look pweedy!!
Like I said on Thursday my mum and I popped in to town to House of Fraser to get our make up done. Now I'm not going to bore you with how much I love the brand and how I use the make up everyday etc etc; instead I'm just going to talk about the products some of which I've never used before (which makes a change).
On Thursday my mum and I had a special reason to go to Benefit because of the release of the new highlighter Sun Beam. I'm one of those people who is scared to use anything to do with bronzing or associated with that because of my fair skin; but I like the idea of using a bronze highlighter just for a summery glow. I did purchase Sun Beam because I do like a good highlighter I'm already a huge fan of High Beam and Watts Up, I'm just adding to the collection. Girl Meets Pearl is another product that I'm not familiar with but I have used That Girl which is the original (I think). This product gives you such a healthy glow and instantly revitalises your skin, it's definitely a product that I will be purchasing in the future and will use over and over again. One Hot Minute is again another bronzing product that I had heard of before as Charlie has it, but I didn't know quite how it works. Again with my fair skin the idea of using another bronzing product was quite daunting, but I trust Inge and I'm willing to try anything when it comes to make up (as long as I'm not the one doing it). This is another product that I wouldn't mind stealing from Charlie it does give you a natural glow and that holiday look. Inge did say that bronzing products are okay to use as long as they're not orange based, so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Posie Tint is a lip and cheek stain that at first sight freaked me out. Its bright pink colour makes you a little hesitant at first but it soon blends in and just gives your cheeks that little pop of colour, I am wearing it on my lips in this look and with California Kissin' over the top makes a great alternative to a lip gloss. As I said earlier I purchased Sun Beam I also picked up 2 eye shadows Fancy Pansy which is limited edition and Gimme Some Plum. I'm not usually a fan of eye shadow as I always think I do too much but I like this combination; not only because my eyes look really green but it's the perfect colour for summer. It's a great alternative way to wear the pastel trend.
I love that every time I go to Benefit I always try new products and find new ways to use products that I've had for a while. I can't wait to go back at the end of this month!!

*I've not been asked to write about Benefit's products nor am I being paid to do so. I'm simply just a fan of the brand and the products.
