Look how long my hair is!!
I know I've been growing it since December but I've never let it get this long before since 2004. At least it's looking nice and this time I didn't plait it as I've been doing that a lot lately (hence why it looks so long); I also currently have 2 tone hair as my natural hair is battling against the peroxide in my hair. Unfortunately I prefer the peroxide part of my hair so my roots have got to go!
This was me yesterday just after I came back from the doctors (nothing glamorous). I had a check up and I'm being referred to some more people but nothing to worry about I'll be fine. I did get caught in the rain yesterday but I was smart and wore my H&M Mac and my big umbrella (the navy spotty one in the photo); unlike Charlie and my mum who went out in shower proof Macs not waterproof. It feels odd being the practical one.
To the outfit...
As I've said above, yesterday was chucking down with rain so I couldn't wear ballet pumps or a light jacket. I've had this dress hanging up on my door for what feels like forever. I remember purchasing it years ago just after my local Primark opened up, I would stroke it every time I was in the store and just loved how much it looked like a princess dress. I used to wear this dress all the time but as nature intervened it grew too short for me and would be an ankle swinger dress; so a while ago I decided to shorten it myself but my mum suggested I get it done professionally. Last week I was up at 6 in the morning and decided to have a go at altering it, so I picked up my nail scissors (yes nail scissors) and decided to cut the seam between the two sections. As I was cutting I decided to just rip it off and although on closer inspection it's all frayed I think it turned out well. I think it's now a dress I can wear all year round the only downside is I have to squeeze my chest in to it; (that's another thing nature interfered with). As you can see I dug out my old faithful boots again even when the heel is coming off the right one, I still love them and now I think I walk funny in them. I'm doing my own Ministry of Silly Walks.
I'm currently watching Shrek on CBBC channel. I love Shrek it's one of the few films I constantly watch if it's on (even when I have the DVD).
I wonder where I could find my own talking donkey...
