 Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
Unfortunately I'm under the weather at the moment and have been ever since Saturday!
Not good.
What didn't help is I had extra stress moments yesterday, while trying to get someone to cover my shift at work. Thankfully Lucy came to the rescue and I managed to relax and enjoy the day, (well as much as I could). I'm still feeling rubbish and want to crawl in to a corner and be left alone; but I'm trying to put a brave face on...not really working.
Anyway...
This was me yesterday after popping to a little recruitment event in town.
So as you guys know I work only on Mondays and just do the odd days during the week (overtime); which means for pretty much 6 days I don't do anything. As much as I love doing the overtime, I want something a bit more long term and more stable (you know what I mean). Because of these various reasons I have been broadening my horizons and looking for other jobs. I've done the whole two job thing (ok it was only a day each but it still counts); so I reckon that I could cope with it and do a good job. Anyway Saturday was completely by accident - I shall now explain why. I currently have two phones Pedro (my Xperia) and my iPhone. Now the number on my CV is for Pedro (not any more); but because I always use my iPhone Pedro is always off so I never pay attention to it. A week ago today I turned on Pedro just to see if I had any messages etc and waiting there was a voicemail. It had been left the day before and I knew there was no chance of another call. I decided to do some research and for the next four days, I emailed the recruitment team of their company. It got to Friday and I didn't hear a word, so I took matters in to my own hands and decided to ring my local store. They had no idea what I was talking about, but the lady took pity on me and invited me to their recruitment event. Saturday rolled around and as usual I was running late, but thankfully both Charlie and Mildred helped me out. I briskly walked to the store and was quite shocked to find there was only a few of us there. Turns out there was only five and I believe it was planned that way, which I think is better then having a bunch crammed in to one room. We did a couple of 'get to know each other' tasks and then soon enough we were given bigger tasks to do. The next step was to create two outfits - 1. Festival 2. First date, it was literally my favourite part of the day. We had 15 minutes to do the task and I think I spent 10 minutes just on the first. I went for a simple maxi dress/leather jacket/sandals/floppy hat/backpack and a load of gold jewellery. The second was slightly harder for me, as I wanted to do quite a girly look but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I decided on a pencil skirt/plain crop top/mock leather sleeved blazer/wedges/simple clutch and a statement necklace. Considering I had five minutes to do it, I thought I did pretty well (well I'd wear them). Next we stayed around the shop helping out with various tasks and asking questions to the staff already there. The final step was the one to one interviews, which is always the most nerve racking part. I think the interview went well and I should hear in three weeks whether I have been successful or not. Overall it was an experience and with every recruitment event/interview, you can always learn something new.
To the outfit...
As you can see I'm as colourful and vibrant as ever, well you know what they say - why change the habit of a lifetime! I always think for an interview you should always be classic and (in other words) play it safe. I always wear black to an interview, whether it's head to toe or just a skirt or pair of trousers. This time I decided to keep up my tradition and reached for my new stripey trousers. Now if you have watched my latest fashion haul (here); then you will know all about these but for those who haven't... I picked these trousers up a couple of weeks ago in Primark. I honestly wasn't planning on finding anything; but on this particular trip I found my neon necklace and these trousers. I've wanted to grow my collection of trousers, as I usually only wear my old faithfuls and I'm in serious need of more options. I was having a look around in Primark when I came across these little beauties. I couldn't believe that actually had my size in them and also that they were only £9! They are quite sheer (I'm actually wearing leggings underneath here); but they'll be perfect for those summer months. There's an adjustable drawstring waist which is always a bonus and I love the cuffed ankles. The black and white stripes are just a classic pattern and will never go out of fashion. I love these trousers and it's nice to see Primark selling some decent stuff.
Well that's me done for today!!
Still feeling rubbish (I've been doing this for two hours - no idea why); but I have Matthew Goode to distract me (LOVE HIM). I have a pretty quiet week but that doesn't mean I'll be absent.
Just hope that I'll get better soon!!

Life Is Sweet And We Treasure Each Moment...

Things I Love - May!!

Hey guys!!
Yes I'm back again!!
This isn't the post I was planning on doing today, but for some reason Blogspot won't let me upload my pictures!!
So I am here with a post (that I almost forgot about) and that is - 'Things I Love!!'
How amazing are these!!
I know I probably spend all my time talking about these beauties, but I think it might be true love...ok maybe not (my JC's are my love). It's just one of those instances when you have wanted something for so long and when you get it, you just want to show it to everyone. I have been after a pair of dungarees for such a long time and by a long time, I mean since they've come back in to fashion. (Yes I'm a dedicated follower of fashion - no don't judge me!!) Now let me take you back at least 10 years (I think more); I was young, in Primary school and spent all my time wearing my favourite pair of full dungarees. I believe they were from a cheap store up the high street and only cost small change; but I absolutely loved them and wore them everywhere. On occasion I would swap them for a pair of light wash dungarees; with denim flowers stitched sparingly over them (Charlie had a matching pair). I lived in dungarees during my childhood and I almost forgot how fun they were. So when I found out that dungarees were back in fashion, I knew I had to get in on the action. I wasn't sure whether I wanted long or short dungarees; but as I suit playsuits rather then jumpsuits I decided on short. I started my hunt by looking on the high street. From Topshop to NewLook I was at a lost and couldn't find a pair that really stood out for me. I decided perhaps a vintage pair would be the way forward, the only trouble with that is - the price. I started looked at all the vintage shops that I knew had a website, for example Rokit and Beyond Retro but no luck. I knew the only way forward would be to go out shopping and try them on. Around about this time I had my accident at work, so shopping was out of the question and I was getting impatient. One day I was on the internet (as you do) and I suddenly thought of ASOS Marketplace. The fact that this shopping Mecca had not entered my mind actually confused me, so without thinking twice I googled the website. I typed in dungarees and as if by magic various arrays of dungarees appeared before my eyes. A few caught my eye but after comparing and contrasting, I decided on this pair and hoped they fit. Two days later the postman interrupted my phone call, made me hurt my foot (even more) and handed me a parcel of hopes and dreams. When I got them out I couldn't believe how amazing they were and I was glad the denim was darker in person. I was on a high from the arrival of them, so when I tried them on and they fitted I was even more excited. I think the best part of finding these, ordering them, receiving them and finding out they fit is simply - the price. Yes these little vintage beauties were a mere £12! Yes £12! Although together with P&P they were £16, I still think that's an absolute bargain for these. If you don't already have a pair of dungarees, then do go and purchase a pair. Don't worry whether they're common or too on trend for you, if you like them then why not treat yourself.
Don't forget - consider all the options!
You never know where you'll find the hidden treasure...

Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
Now I'm coming to you later then planned (its 19:10pm); as I have been trying to edit the video I filmed earlier. Unfortunately it kept going out of sync so I gave up and I'm now uploading the original version.
Anyway...
I have something a little different for you today!!
I was originally going to do this post yesterday, but my laptop died on me three times - yeah I know!
Soooooooo...
As I was saying I wanted to do something different and broaden my horizons as well.
So what better subject to approach then Neon!
Now you guys know my opinion on neon and that whole trend. I honestly don't have anything against the neon trend; but let's just say you won't catch me in a rave outfit any time soon. I decided to dip my toe in to the neon trend by purchasing a gold and neon necklace for £3 from Primark. I really like the way the neon accents an otherwise plain outfit, so with that being said I decided to do some research. Now you would be surprised that finding neon jewellery is actually really hard. Well finding cheap tacky neon jewellery is easy (no offence); but actually pretty classy pieces are actually hard. I researched as much as I could and thankfully ASOS, Topshop and New Look pulled through for me. These are a few of my favourite pieces I picked from the selection. I know you're probably thinking 'they're so not you', but I really think these are perfect statement accessories. Now there is no point in me pointing out my favourites, but I'll give you a clue - yellow/green neon is my favourite. Neon has been seen on bloggers, celebrities and on the runway and has dominated the fashion world. Every spring/summer season this trend always comes back to haunt us and to induce us in to a fashion frenzy. I think the one reason I like neon is because it adds colour to a plain outfit, (and you know I love my plain outfits). I'm lucky with my necklace that it has a number of elements - chunky gold chain, diamonds (not real ones), spikes and neon gems. Needless to say I don't like ordinary or plain jewellery. If you are too afraid to try the neon trend then definitely start off small, maybe a pair of studs or stack-able bracelets so it doesn't look too much. There are so many ways you can try the neon trend; but you need to find a way to step out of your comfort zone. Jewellery was stepping out of my comfort zone, but would I actually wear neon clothing - no! (Well unless it was for Eurovision!!) Neon will never enter my wardrobe and be worn in clothing form. I quite like my comfort zone and sticking to it!!
I'm not quite sure if this is a post about, how I feel about the neon trend or how to wear the neon trend or even about the neon trend itself. Either way I hope this post helped in some capacity and if not then at least there is some pretty jewellery to look at.
Neon is definitely something I want to experiment more with - only with jewellery!!
Baby steps...

The Rhythm Of Life Beats Within You, Dont' Try To Resist When It Calls...

 Monthly Want - May!!

Hey everyone!!
It's Thursday!!
I don't know what’s special about Thursday's, but perhaps you can think of something.
I have the docs today, but that's not something special (in fact it sucks – I’m alright btw).
Anyway...
It's that time of the month again (no not that kind).
It's time for May's Monthly Want!!
Usually I plan this in advance, but this month the 23rd has just crept up on me - seriously how quick has this month gone?? It seems odd as last night I swear was the longest night of my life - no joke! (I'm going off topic). It wasn't until I woke up this morning that I realised what day it was. Now my first instinct was to pick a pair of shoes (you know what I'm like); but because I've picked shoes for the past two months (sorry) I decided to go for something else. Now if I'm not obsessed with shoes, then there's only one other thing I'm OBSESSED with - t-shirts!
Whether patterned, printed, oversized, fitted or just damn ordinary, I am absolutely obsessed with t-shirts. I have them in various colours and prints and yet I always find an excuse to buy more. There is something so versatile about the t-shirt. It can be worn layered up in the winter or as a showstopper in the summer, t-shirts were made for all us regardless of our fashion preference. Now I first found this t-shirt a while back on the River Island website and completely fell in love. I love how this t-shirt is fun but still a wearable everyday piece. I know some people are probably over the whole 'GEEK' t-shirt trend (I know Topshop is); but this is almost a homage to it. If there is one way to sell me something and convince me to buy it, it's putting the two magic words together - 'London’ and ‘Fashion'. As a proud Londoner (well I use the word proud loosely at times); I know that having Fashion Week on your doorstep is the best feeling in the world. Although I'm not fortunate to go these amazing events, I am able to witness the comings and goings of the fashionably fashionable. Everyone dreams of the day that London Fashion Week invitation comes through the door; but until that day why not have something to ease the gap. This is a t-shirt you can pair with a high waisted skirt tucked it or with a pair of jeans for a casual take. What about with a pair of cigarette pants and a pair of killer heels, just throw it on with a fitted blazer and you have the perfect drinks outfit. I know there is only so much you can say about a t-shirt, but I think you can all understand how much I love t-shirts.
So in conclusion this is an affordable, statement t-shirt perfect for any occasion and if you're wondering why you don't own it yet - I'm asking myself the same question!!

 Jewellery - H&M / New Look & Forever 21

Hey everyone!!
I hope you're all well!!
I'm so sorry I've been absent!
I'm afraid I've been completely busy and tired with work and my stupid foot!
I do apologise for the lack of posts!!
Also with my dodgy foot I'm not dressed in anything too glamorous.
It's laziness again...
I'M SORRY!!
I promise to be good!!
I keep making promises...sorry...
Anyway...
This was me yesterday after coming back from an afternoon out with Charlie.
So Charlie promised to take me out in Mildred yesterday, as I have booked my theory test (woo). I initially started driving two years ago; but gave it up because I started volunteering and had no time to do it. So eventually after two years I have decided to go back to driving - first step is to actually do the theory test. I've started studying (need to get back to that); but I'm still nervous of not doing well etc. Anyway I will let you know how it goes. Now I didn't exactly wake up early yesterday and by didn't exactly I mean - 1pm! I rolled out of bed and in to my fabulous Eurovision outfit and headed out the door. Charlie and I got in to Mildred and started on my little lesson. I was taking notes about how Mildred works and what to or not to do. When I started driving two years ago I was in a manual, so learning to drive an automatic is a whole different story. Charlie was a really helpful teacher and it makes me want to drive even more then before. After driving around for a bit (plus topping up on petrol); Charlie decided she wanted to go somewhere to eat. After much debate (I say debate more like indecisiveness); Charlie decided on going to Bromley to Joe's Kitchen. We've been meaning to go back after we went last January; but the call of Bluewater has always been stronger. It literally took AGES to find a parking space, but after Charlie prayed (I'm not even kidding she actually did) we found one as if by magic. Thankfully our parking space was in the Boots part of The Glades, so I only had to limp down three or four escalators and a two minute walk. In Joe's Kitchen we were only going to have snacky stuff, but when we worked it out it was cheaper to get a meal. So I ended up having a veggie breakfast which was sooooooooooo nice and Charlie had another variation of a veggie breakfast. We were only in Bromley for an hour or so before we soon left to head home. As you guys know Eurovision was on last night, which is literally my FAVOURITE time of the year. I was decked out in my outfit ready for the show to start, (do you know how hard it is to stay dressed when you're at home). Soon 8pm came around and I was surrounded by Eurovision mania. The family had a platter of food from various countries (mainly Italy and Greece) and we sat and watched the whole shebang unfold. Denmark won and I liked the song, but I don't think it was a winning song. Although to be honest I wouldn't mind a trip to Denmark next year!!
To the outfit...
So Charlie and I (even my Dad) dressed up for Eurovision and because it was in Malmo, Sweden this year we decided to go to Monki. I have three new items to show you in this outfit - firstly it's my adorable dungarees. As I have mentioned previously in my May Tumblr post I have been after a pair of dungarees for soooooo long; but I just haven't found a pair that have stood out to me. So the other day I was browsing on ASOS Marketplace and I decided to type in dungarees and see what came up. It was as if it was meant to be, as one of the first pairs that came up were the ones you see on me here. I couldn't believe it when I saw them and they were £12!! An absolute and total bargain!! Even with P&P they were still £16 which is cheap for a pair of vintage dungarees. I wasn't too sure on the colour of these in the picture, but they looked so much better when I received them. They fit perfectly and I'm just absolutely in love with them and I can't wait for the summer to get here!! The next (and last) two are these tops from Monki. As Eurovision was being held in Sweden, Charlie and I decided to head to Monki. Unfortunately I couldn't go up to the shop myself, due to my blasted right foot so I sent my Mum and Charlie with a list. This lovely mesh top you see here is something I would never usually go for, but when I saw this in Lexi's (sototallyvlog and FashionFilth) haul I immediately wanted it. I had a look on the website but couldn't find it (plus the £6 P&P put me off); so I sent Mum and Charlie with a picture of the top. When they arrived back home I had a feeling they didn't get what I wanted - how wrong I was!! I looked in the Monki bag and folded up there was this top and I was soooooooo happy! It's such a unique and different top to what I usually wear; but the best part is that it's oversized and it's long. It's perfect for layering in the summer or winter and even for the beach. I am in love with this piece because it is so different and it's perfect for any occasion. The second piece is this neon vest top underneath. As you guys know I am not a fan of neon, well it's not that I'm not a fan but I've just never tried it. My first venture in to neon was the Primark necklace I picked up a few weeks ago, and for me that was baby steps. So when my Mum came home with this little vest top, I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. I admit I did like the pop of colour underneath the black mesh; but I think I'm going to stick to neutral colours (it's now my bed top).
I honestly didn't think this post was going to be this long; (it has taken me nearly 3 hours to write it - I blame YouTube).
Well I think it's now time to go and distract myself with YET more YouTube videos...
If you want to distract yourself too, why don't you check out my new Spring Haul video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdg-YFR3DNM

Lookin' For A Lover Who Needs Another, Don't Want Another Night On My Own...

Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
Now I mentioned this the other day, but I just wanted to tell you again...
I HURT MY FOOT!!
Yes my inconvenient foot (that's its new name) is still playing up.
I don't think it's fair if I'm honest!!
(I started this an hour and a half ago - I blame Jaime!)
I can put pressure on it, but it does frigging hurt!
My poor little (big) foot...
Anyway...
You may have notice an absence of a Sunday Playlist last week.
Well...I can explain!
I honestly couldn't think of a theme!
This is usually an occurrence, but in the end I always think of something.
Unfortunately last week I was at a blank!
But the playlist is back this week with a vengeance!
So!
What to pick this week??
Now we all have dull moments in our lives, when we just sit there waiting for something exciting to happen. I think we've all had those moments, where we have had the urge to start dancing for no reason. And what about those moments, where we want to throw caution to the wind and just do something different. These moments surprisingly enough probably occupy quite a fair amount of time - is it fair?? Hell no!! We need to live our lives to the extreme, do what we've always wanted to do regardless of what people think. We should dance in the middle of the street or on a bus if we want to. Why don't we break out in to song in the middle of Asda?? I think it's perfectly acceptable!! Through all these moments in our lives we need the perfect soundtrack to accompany our daring deeds. When I think of the one genre of music that will be perfect for all these scenarios, only one comes to mind - DISCO!!
I honestly don't know what this world would be like without disco. We all must thank the 1970's for giving us disco greats such as Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer and of course the Bee Gees. The disco era is a time where you could boogie on down and you didn't care who was looking. I wish the modern nightclubs would only play disco music, because there is not one song from that decade that I don't love. I think disco music defines a time where dance music really catapulted to fame. In our modern age for dance music we have the likes of David Guetta and Calvin Harris; both are geniuses but both need to bow down to disco. Disco music always reminds me of family parties and weddings. It would be half way through the disco and then the DJ would make the best decision of the night and put some Gloria Gaynor on. This is the only time where I actually respect the DJ (not that Hey Mickey - Lolly isn't a classic song). The disco era is one I wish I lived through and danced my ass off to. Although I didn't live through the 70's I can now appreciate the music as if I did.
Let's face it - disco will never die and neither will our love for it!
Ladies and gentlemen I present DISCO!
So sit back, relax and ENJOY!!

Look To The Stars, Make A Wish...

 Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
Now if any of you guys follow me on Twitter, then you might have heard me mention something about my foot. Well while I was at work on Tuesday I tripped backwards on a rail and fell flat on my butt with my right leg bent inwards. I was literally in so much pain and I had hobble out of the shop (and even a flight and half of stairs). Tears were shed (thankfully not at work); so much so that Wednesday morning I had a trip with Mum to A&E. Thankfully it's not broken but just badly bruised; but it bloody hurts (and that's a nice way of saying it).
Anyway...
Enough about me!!
I'm here to talk about something that you would not associate with me - beauty!
I am usually the one person who moans about my make up, my hair and generally myself; but I think lately I don't have anything to moan about. Now with bleaching my hair about 3 times (not including roots); no matter what shampoo I used it left my hair feeling flat and greasy within a day. After watching a video on YouTube I found out about Aussie products. Obviously I had heard about Aussie before as a brand; but I didn't know anything about their products. While watching the video I heard the magic word 'de-tangle' and I was hooked. Next chance I got I headed to Sainsbury's to inspect these products. The first product I looked at was the Aussie Colour Mate Shampoo. As I have bleached blonde hair I was in desperate need for a decent colour shampoo. I liked the look of this product because, I know Aussie is a reliable brand and (if I'm honest) I like the idea of the Australian Wild Peach. I kind of pinned my hopes on this product hoping it would work. Now as it was '2 for £7' I decided to look at a conditioner. Now I didn't want to go for a traditional conditioner, as I only ever condition my hair when I go away (so hardly ever). So I was having a peruse over the conditioner products, when I found the Aussie Miracle Colour Conditioner Leave- in Conditioner. I have to admit this product excited me and that rarely ever happens. The fact that this product was a spray, a conditioner and a de-tangling spray - music to my ears!! I bought both products with high expectations. Now I've been using these products for about a month (or nearly two months) and I've come to this conclusion - I LOVE THEM!! OMG if you have not tried Aussie products then you need to right now, like right now. I have never found hair products that have actually made my hair look decent, even three days after washing it. Like I said before I have bleached hair, so I really needed a product that will revitalise my hair and give it some oomph. I have finally found that product(s) and I'm so damn happy that I have. The funny thing is I actually look forward to washing my hair now because of these products. The shampoo does everything it says on the tin and more. My hair is revitalised and lasts for longer then a day and really brings out the colour. The leave-in conditioner leaves my hair de-tangled (WOO) and beautifully nourished and refreshed. The good thing about these products is that they genuinely are amazing and worth every penny. The other thing I like about them is that they leave your hair smelling sooo good! I literally sit there sniffing my hair (weird I know). I'm so happy that these products have lived up to my expectations; it's so rare to find good reliable products at such an affordable price. Because I'm so happy with using Aussie I then went on to purchase the Dual Personality Shine Coloured Hair Protection Serum and the 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner. I'm looking forward to trying these products and seeing if they live up to my expectations.
I apologise if this post is a bit all over the place; but I'm not quite sure how to do a beauty post. You never know I might do more of these in the future; but until then I'll be washing my hair!

You Search The Horizon, And There's Not A Cloud In The Sky...

A little bit of inspiration for May!!
It's finally May!!
And what a lovely May we have been having!!
The sunshine has finally arrived and I'm so happy that it has. I can finally leave the house in a denim jacket, a lovely summer dress and bare legs and not have to worry about freezing to death. This has made going to work so much easier, no longer do I have to worry about chucking layer upon layer on and then stuffing it in to my locker. With the warm weather making an appearance, there have been a sudden urge to buy in to trends. Now the one trend that I am dying to buy in to but feel a bit iffy about is dungarees. I love how cool and stylish they look and the many ways you can style them. I must admit when I see a really good outfit with dungarees as the main feature, I do get a bit jealous and wonder why I didn't think of that first. I am currently on the hunt for a pair of dungarees, so watch this space because I will be spamming me wearing them when I find them. (I apologise in advance). I am in desperate need of some fashion inspiration, as I realised last weekend none of my summer clothes fit me (long story). So with this new revelation I have been looking for outfit ideas and not only have these pictures helped; but one of my favourite fashion blogs What Olivia Did... has given me a fashion revelation. Olivia Purvis is a fashion genius in my opinion, when it comes to pulling together a perfect summer outfit. You should all check her out and you may lust over her wardrobe as I do. Ladies and gentlemen (I never thought I'd say this) it's time to dig out that summer wardrobe!!

Not so bad I suppose.
Well I'll get on with it...
Anyway...
Just a really quick post today!!
This was me yesterday after popping in to town.
So as you guys may know I hate going out on a Saturday (and a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc); but as I no longer work on a Sunday I have broken my rule (just this once). I was popping in to town to meet up with my friend Leah for (what I thought would be) a few hours. I didn't exactly jump out of bed and get my butt in to gear, as you guys know I'm not a morning person and I hate getting out of bed! I did eventually get up and washed my hair (yes I willingly did that); also doing my make up (which takes me years). Eventually I left the house and Charlie dropped me off in town (THANK YOU CHARLIE!!). I arrived about 10 minutes late and thought 'oh crap she's probably waiting for me' - how wrong I was! I waited about half an hour and pretty much walked around Debenhams, lurking around every concession to look at clothes (I wasn't in the mood). By that time I was considering going home, but I got a call saying Leah was on her way. Eventually we met up and it was good to have a mini catch up. There was more to the story but I won't go in to that, because it is a long long long long story (I've already vented). After about an hour Leah and I parted ways and I met up with my Mum. I suddenly got in to a bad mood (no it wasn't my Mum's thought) and I just wanted to go home. I ended up being on the phone to Jaime for such a long time just moaning and venting (what would I do without her??). A revelation followed my moans and I turned round to my Mum and asked for Mcdonald's (I needed to feed my craving). I had my Mcdonald's (chicken nuggets and chips just in case you were wondering) and then Mum and I basically went home. It was an unexpected day and put me in a funk, as I didn't quite understand what happened. It left me tired and out of it, but thankfully today (even though my bad mood crept up again) cheered me up.
To the outfit...
Well as you can see I'm back to my usual get up!!
Nothing new. Nothing different. Just a plain old outfit full of my favourite items. Although the weather has gotten so much better (about bloody time), I'm still confused as to what it is actually doing. One day it's boiling hot (I have the sunburn to prove it) and other days it's so chilly. I have no idea why I'm moaning... So as yesterday was one of the few days that I have been out and not having to wear a uniform, I wanted to bring back my knock off 'disco pants'. I know I have said quite a few times how much I love these trousers, but the reason why I do is because they're awesome. They're a lovely colour of blue, shiny and stretchy!! Now as my old faithfuls are a little bit snug (don't ask - blame Mervin); you will be seeing a lot more of these in the future!!
I apologise for the short post but I honestly didn't know what to write!!
My blogspot is still playing up - is anyone else having this problem?? It's been happening for over a week now!! Anyway I've had a bit of a long day and the prospect of work tomorrow is not helping my mood!! I'm hoping for a decent uninterrupted nights sleep...
As if!!

Hey everyone!!
I'm back!!
I apologise again for lack of posts!!
Thankfully this time it wasn't my fault.
You see my blogspot hasn't been working!!
Naughty!!
And it wouldn't let me upload my pictures...
Yes I do find that offensive!!
But for some reason it has decided to work today.
YAYAYAY!!
So now we are back to normal transmission!!
Well whatever normal is...
Anyway...
Just a really quick post today!!
This was me yesterday after popping out with the parentals!!
So like I said above I went out yesterday with my parents to somewhere very exciting - yes I went to Ikea, Asda and Sainsbury's!! Woo!! Now my Nan.J is currently in the hospital (we don’t know what's wrong with her); so our usual routine is a bit all over the place. Instead of doing the normal food shop on a Saturday like we always do, my parents decided to be little devils and do the shop on Friday. I wasn't going to go but my Mum ensnared me in with the promise of an Ikea breakfast. Come the morning I dragged myself out of bed, got changed and headed to claim my breakfast. When it comes to Ikea's breakfasts I now get two kiddies ones, that way I can pick what I want rather then the full thing (oh and a roll). I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and all my hash browns (my favourite). On the way out of Ikea I got a bit excited, as Snailland were about to show Disney's 'The Princess and the Frog'. One of my favourite Disney movies and Tiana is my third favourite Disney princess. I did keep singing the songs from the movie, until my parents came back from the little parent’s room. We headed over to Asda where my Dad and I danced up the aisles, while singing along to the 80's cheesy music they were playing. Sainsbury's was the last stop as they are the supplier of my chocolate coins. I did pick up another two Aussie products as I'm in love with them. I've seen such a significant change using the Aussie Shampoo - Colour Matte and Aussie Miracle Colour Insurance (I think). This time I picked up the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Insurance Conditioner and the Aussie Colour Keeper - Shine Serum. I ended the day with watching TV and just chilling out in front of the TV - good times!!
To the outfit...
Now I literally had no idea what to wear as I was only popping out to Ikea etc. I ended up just chucking this outfit together and I think it could be worse. I have two new things to show you here - first is this Tall Black Belted Jersey Maxi Skirt. I have wanted this skirt for absolute AGES and finally when I got paid I decided to get it. Whenever I go to get this skirt I never have enough money or they don't have my size. It's been a long time coming and I'm so glad I finally have it. I think everyone should have a black maxi skirt in their wardrobes, but unfortunately it was the one thing I didn't possess. Ok I do have a black maxi skirt, but I just wanted a plain jersey one to wear with anything. I have hunted for a skirt like this for about a year now and when I found this in the Tall section I was soooooo happy!! It was £16.99 and I think that's such a good price for what you're getting. So for all the tall people out there, I definitely recommend heading over to New Look and checking out their range. The second is my gold and neon necklace from Primark. I have wanted to try the neon trend for ages, but I'm too scared to try anything more then accessories. I have been after the neon necklace from H&M that retails at £9.99, but I couldn't bring myself to pay a tenner for a necklace. So I've been on the lookout for a knock off version and finally Primark has pulled through. It was only £3 and I couldn't believe it!! It is gold instead of silver which initially threw me off; but as I wear more gold jewellery it's worked out well. I think Primark are doing well with the latest trends and I hope it continues.
Well that's me for today!!
I'm having a relaxing evening in watching 'Ted' and just browsing the internet - the usual.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to fall asleep...
Night!!
