Life Gave Me Some Lemons So I Made Some Lemonade...

Things I Love - February!!

Black Chunky Cleated Sole Chelsea Boots - £24.99 / New Look

Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
It's time for Things I Love - February!!
I'm currently procrastinating, as the idea of doing my essays and preparing for my upcoming seminar is giving me mini panic attacks.
Anyway…
I am obsessed with these boots!!
I first discovered these boots on the New Look website I would say about a month ago. Of course at the time I was broke (story of my life), so I added it to my pages and just kept checking on it every so often. By the time I had the available funds, these boots were no where to be seen. On both New Look and ASOS they were sold out! This is the point where I began to gave up hope and decided to divert my attention to other footwear. On a spontaneous trip to Bluewater, I headed straight to New Look on the hunt for these boots. It felt as if the shopping angels were smiling down on me, for there they were smiling at me, luring me in. Yes ladies and gentlemen - I found the boots of my dreams in a size 9! HALLELUJAH!! Honestly (and I know it sounds crazy), I felt as if it was meant to be (must not break out in to Teen Beach Movie - don't judge). The best part of finding these beauties was the fact that they only cost me £4.99! My lovely uncle had gifted me a £20 Bluewater voucher for Christmas, which I used towards these boots. Now to talk about the boots themselves - O M G I am in love!! As you all know I love my flats, whether it be shoes or boots - I only ever wear flat footwear. Initially I thought I would never wear these boots because of the heel, but really you don't feel as if you are wearing heels (except when you realise you can touch the ceiling with your head in the service station loos). I'm naturally tall, so having a few extra inches doesn't really phase me. I also had a feeling that these boots would take forever to break in - literally comfortable from day one! I personally own quite a few pairs of black boots, but at the moment I grab these and they go with absolutely everything. Another good thing about these boots is the grip on the sole, perfect for the dreadful weather we've been having. Overall I am in love with these boots and I will shout it from the rooftops - ok a bit extreme but you get what I mean.
I think it's time for me to stop buying black boots - yeah, like thats going to happen!!

B x
