Just Let Me Be, Legally Blonde...

Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
Well again I didn't attend work as I'm still on the mend, so by this point I think if I'm not in next week I'm in big trouble (even though I was signed off).
Anyway enough of my dull life...
It's Sunday again!!
I felt every single long day this week...
Whether I was waiting in a room sitting on my butt for 7 hours or lying on the sofa having sneezing fits; I have felt every second, minute, hour and day go past. But thankfully I'm slowly feeling better!! The cold has decided to stop hassling me and the sickness comes and goes; unfortunately the migraines are still very much there. But whenever I have a good moment I come on my laptop and catch up with everything.
Anyway...
So as I said and as well all know its Sunday which can only mean one thing...Sunday Playlist!!
Yes that time of the week has come again!!
Now as you know I have been doing a mixture of artist and theme playlists, so why change a habit of a lifetime and continue with these playlists.
For this week I'm going to pick a theme!!
There are sooooooooooo many going through my mind; but based on a couple of my posts lately there’s one thing that keeps popping up. So it seemed like a no brainer to pick this as my new theme.
I'll give you a few hints...this week's theme would never have come about without a certain Elle Woods and of course Bruiser Woods. An extraordinary girl from Malibu who followed her true love to an Ivy League school - Harvard. She fought against society's perception of her, to become who Elle always thought she would be. Plus she ends up with Emmett!! I think it's a win win all round. I can't even remember how many times I've watched Legally Blonde; but I know I've watched Legally Blonde: The Musical too many times. I don't know whether it's the songs, the costumes, the characters or everything put together; but there's something so fun about the show. I saw it a few years ago with the West End cast; but because I was so tired I can hardly remember it. So to be able to watch it every night and remember every scene, every word (like I didn't already know that) and to sing to every song is so much fun. Plus getting to watch the original Broadway show means I get to watch Christian Borle every night - YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!! I can live with that!!
So here are a few of my favourite songs from Legally Blonde: The Musical!!
Sit back, relax and ENJOY!!!

Never Wanted You To Steal My Heart...

Things I Love - January!!

Hey guys!!
Soooooooooooo I thought as I'm still as ill as ever (I used as a lot there); and as there is no sign of me doing an OOTD as it has now snowed (HATE SNOW) I thought I would start a new post.
Now there's not going to be a particular day that I do this post; but it's going to be based on my favourite purchases unlike the monthly wants. I think seeing as it's a new year now would be a good time to bring in a new post idea.
I think I'll get started!!
I think 99.9% of you will recognise these leggings and know where they're from. Yes they are the stained glass leggings from Romwe!! I have been in love with these since I first saw them on Lookbook, every blogger I admired has/had a pair of these and I knew I wanted them. Of course all these fashionistas are pretty and thin, which kind of put me off purchasing these as my thighs are the size of all of theirs put together. I also watched a video where a vlogger bought the next size up; because apparently when they stretch you can see the white coming through. Every payday I kept putting off buying them until one day. I was watching a video on Beautyzombiee's Channel and she mentioned a flash sale on leggings; within a second I stopped the video and went on to the Romwe website. Now the sale was only on selected leggings and I was praying that these were included. You have no idea how much my face lit up when I saw these; now of course I first saw them in US dollars and when I changed it to pounds I went in to shock. These leggings were £10.06!! When I saw the price I nearly had a heart attack (the good kind); I couldn't believe it and in a second I had added it to my bag and purchased them. It took 12 days which surprisingly enough is actually quicker then I thought; and it was a nice surprise to wake up from my nap to. I tried them on straight away and they fitted!! The print is still kept in tact and there's no white showing; plus the length is perfect for me and I love them. They come in a little pouch with Romwe on it and I thought that's so nice. I'm in love with these leggings and for £10.06 (you don't pay p&p or customs); they're a complete and utter bargain.
This is my first purchase from Romwe and I'll tell you one thing - it won't be my last!!

Rewritten By Machine And New Technology...

Hey Everyone!!
Ok so things haven't exactly gone to plan...
You remember I said I was going to be busy for the next 2 - 3 weeks?? Yeah that's kind of changed.
You see Tuesday evening I started feeling really lethargic, nose running, coughing, aching, feeling so nauseous and the worst migraine ever. So after the worst night sleep ever and crying my eyes out in the morning, (so tired and felt like general crap) I decided to go to the docs to see what's going on. Turns out it's my lady pills making my migraines worse and making me feel like rubbish!! I've been prescribed these sachet things to help with the migraines and sickness; but I haven't taken them because I want to get rid of the cold first before anything else. You see when I get ill I am so moany and pretty much I get man flu (weird I know but I feel like I'm dying). I’ve been signed off till next week so fun times!! I've just taken some medicine so I thought seen as I was feeling kind of awake I would do a post. Now what to write about is the big question. Then I realised I should talk about a project that I'm doing whether long term or not; so I decided to talk about YouTube!!
Yes YouTube!!
I started doing YouTube videos in October after watching SoTotallyVlog, NiaSays, ShannonLouiseVintage and BeautyCrush's channels religiously. It was on of those situations where I thought 'hey I could do that!!' And that's exactly what I did. By some coincidence the opportunity arose for me to take the plunge and do my first video. As I was using the tripod to do an OOTD I thought why not do an OOTD video. I was nervous as I wasn't quite sure what to say or how to act, I think for my first go I did pretty well. I wasn't expecting anyone to watch my videos, but now I have 25 views on that one and I'm so appreciative. I know why people watch Lexi's, Nia's, Shannon's and Sammi's videos, but why people wanted to watch mine completely escaped me. I'm so pleased that you guys who read my blog or watch my videos like what I say or what I do. I honestly wasn't expecting anything so I thank you all for you time. I want to continue on with YouTube as talking to a camera really does help with my confidence. My parents showed my godfather and honorary godmother a video of mine. And apparently they turned around and made a comment, about how I'm meant to be shy and yet there I am chatting away in a video. I know I do ramble and babble and I do apologise for that; but any of you who read my blog know I get distracted soooooo easily. I do try to stay on track but it doesn't exactly go to plan. Since starting YouTube I've discovered other great vloggers such as BeautyZombiee, Leanne Woodfull, JairWoo, Helen Melonlady and of course RickyRichardsTv. I honestly recommend them all and all of the others I subscribe to, which you can check out my feed to see who they all are.
So I guess what I'm saying is that YouTube is an eclectic mix of people from all different backgrounds, and I'm so proud to say that I'm now a part of it.
Here is the link to my channel and below is a few of my videos (there's 15 in total) - http://www.youtube.com/user/ImAlwaysBecky/videos?view=0&flow=grid

I hope you guys enjoy watching these as much as I enjoy making them!!

And Everything You Love Will Burn Up In The Light...

Hat - H&M
Top - Bench
Trousers - Warehouse
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - Oki Kutsu
Bag - Forever 21
Jewellery - Topshop / New Look & Primark
Hey guys!!
This is my third day blogging in a row!!
I will warn I will blogging a lot these next few weeks; but it will most probably be full of boring stuff and you'll be sick of me.
Of course if my outfits are really that bad then I won't show them, (this one isn't spectacular but oh well).
Tiredness has taken over again!!
Ok yes I didn't go to bed till 2am but I wanted to finish my book!!
I recommend it to everyone, it's called 'Sisters in Arms: British Army Nurses Tell Their Story - Nicola Tyrer'. It's about the QA's in the Second World War and it's so inspirational, although I know they wouldn't want the attention but more people should know about their courageous efforts.
Please do check the book out!!
I'm going off topic again...
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after I popped out for a few hours.
Again I'm being vague!!
As you know yesterday I said that I had to be somewhere at 2pm which meant more waiting around. Thankfully I got there 5 minutes early considering I woke up late, spent too much time doing my make up, couldn't decide what to wear and generally had no energy. I did have enough money on my oyster and I got the bus and walked there in time. The security guard remembered me from yesterday (I think); because he said that he knew I would go off (metal detector). I can't help it if I have a tendency to wear a lot of metal. (Which reminds me I have finally changed my second lobes!! I can't touch them though because I feel sick every time I do). I went up the lift and in to the assemble area and sat down, said a few hellos and started reading my book (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - John Le Carre; I did start reading this ages ago but I'm re-reading it). Soon enough some of us were moved to a different room where we got chosen, (I will explain in three weeks I promise). I honestly didn't expect to be chosen and thought I would be waiting around yet again; but when my name was called I said yes and went and took my seat. Thankfully I'm in a group with nice people so I'm not as scared as I originally was. I didn't leave until half 4, I think maybe just before and then I'm back at 10:30am. For the next three weeks I'm going to be sitting on my arse; but I'll be doing my civic duty so I guess that's a good thing. God my life will be boring!!
To the outfit...
Yes I know this is a very boring outfit and I apologise for that; but I was in a rush and I thought I would be waiting around. I don't know whether I was relieved or hated the idea of not waiting around. So a possible boring day meant for a bit of a boring outfit. Now I don't think you've seen this top before and yet it's quite old. I picked this up from Bench in House of Fraser a few years ago when it was in the sale. When you're not wearing a cardigan it looks a lot baggier and it is. The funny thing is this top is a size small but its mahoosive!! I fell in love with this top because of all the skeletons, that's why I paired it with cross studs and skull rings. A little bit of skulls...well a lot really!!
O M G my head is killing me and no doubt it's going to turn in to a migraine. Plus I can't stop coughing and my throat feels weird!! Just when I can't take a day off I feel like I'm going to get ill!!
Fingers crossed it's just because I haven't slept properly in two days.
I promise you all a stylish and feminine outfit for tomorrow!!
Well I'll try...

Hat - New Look
Jumper - Charity Shop
Top (underneath) - River Island
Trousers - Warehouse
Coat - River Island
Shoes - Oki Kutsu
Bag - New Look
Accessories - H&M
Jewellery - Miss Selfridge / New Look & Topshop
Hey guys!!
Monday is here again!!
Usually I look forward to Monday's except today was the exception.
Waking up at 6:30am should be illegal!!
I'm very tired today and I'm currently on overdrive, so if I go in to hyper mode I apologise.
To top it off I also have the hiccups which seem to come once in a blue moon...
Plus my nose is running!!
And running!!
And running!!
You can tell my general mood for today is not a good one.
Anyway...
This was me earlier today after I popped out.
(Such a vague sentence).
Yes I popped out for about 6/7 hours which I guess you could say was kinda planned. I'm not allowed to say where I've been but no I'm not in trouble and no nothing exciting happened.
Let me kind of explain...
I woke up at 6:30am (I say 6:30 it was an hour before I actually got out of bed); soooooo frigging tired as for the third time this week I watched Legally Blonde: The Musical (I LOVE CHRISTIAN BORLE). By 2:30am I decided to switch off the music and try and sleep without, clearly it worked but I needed to hibernate. I eventually got out of bed as Charlie kindly offered me a lift, so as you can tell I went at a leisurely pace. I went at such a leisurely pace that I turned up 10 minutes late to my destination!! I'm always late or too early... I had to get my bag checked and walk through the metal detector thing (didn't help that I had metal all over me). I think its funny when they ask you to move your stuff in your bag cause they're not allowed to; sometimes I'm tempted to say no but knowing my luck I'll end up surrounded by a SWAT team. I then had to wait in a little tiny area until I was joined by a few other people. We were then taken up in a lift to a room full of people and I mean FULL of people. I only thought there would be a least 20 of us but there was double if not more. I had to fill out forms and looked liked the idiot, because I didn't have a pen and I kept going back and forth to the table. Eventually we all went in to a different room and watched the most boring DVD of my life. After more talking we eventually went back in to the original room and sat...
And sat...
And sat...
And sat...
FOR 7 HOURS!!!
I walked up to get some lunch and to the little girl’s room; but other then that my butt didn't leave that chair. The only good thing is that I have 21 pages left of my book, downside is that I got a bad back like I do on the coach and every inch of me was aching. In the end Charlie came and picked me up bless her (she's not at all well so I tucked up in to bed early). I don't have to back till 2pm tomorrow afternoon and I'll only be there a couple of hours!! If only it was like that every day...
To the outfit...
For the first time in a while I have absolutely nothing new to show you!! I'm quite surprised. There are items hung up right now with labels on wondering why I haven't shown them love. Maybe you'll see them soon, but for now let's have a go at finding something to talk about. Well first off I will say this outfit did its job today. I needed an outfit that kept me warm and comfortable, while I sat on my arse for seven hours and this did the job. Not only was I kept warm but I practically roasted in the room that I was sitting in for seven hours. I did occasionally roll up the sleeves to show off my tattoo, but I didn't want to stretch them so I pulled them back down. I can't believe how much I've worn this coat since I bought it; especially for someone who literally doesn't like coats. The same goes for these plimsolls; every year I dig them out but I've never worn them this much. I can't imagine not having either of these items. I am rocking some spiffing gloves here which are from H&M. I picked them up in the sale for £2 in Bluewater (along with the matching hat); so for £4 I got a matching set - not bad!!
I think I'm going to stop talking...
It is currently 10:21pm and I can barely keep my eyes open!!
2 out of 5 members of my family are already asleep and for once it's not the dog.
Like I said I'm back tomorrow in the afternoon, which means a nice lie in before I have to beautify myself. Ooooo this is the part where I want to mention something random - my ponytail!! I'm currently growing my hair and I'm sooo pleased with how long it is; but I know I'm going to ruin it when I bleach it (not going to ruin the surprise).
Maybe I'll be in a better mood tomorrow??
Maybe not...

Let's Escape Into The Music, DJ Let It Play...

Its Sunday everyone!!
Literally how does it happen!!
I swear it was Sunday last week??
(HA HA I made a funny).
This has been a really odd week (yes they're back again).
My week has been filled with doctors, getting a tattoo, interview, x-rays etc.
You name it it's happened to me this week!!
Again for the second week running I'm coming to you earlier then normal, that's because my body decided to go weird last night. I broke out in to hot swears, light headed, extreme nauseated feeling and honestly I thought I was going to actually faint. I won't go in to the gory details but needless to say I was up till 3/4am feeling rough.
I'm feeling better now as Charlie and my Mum have come home with a Cuddle Buddies unicorn for me!! It's meant to go in Mildred; but I ran away with it and now I've had a tantrum I get to keep her with me.
YAYAYAY!!!
Her name is Princess Violet and no you wouldn't believe I'm a 20 year old!!
Anyway...
Time for the Sunday Playlist!!
I really do go off track...
I think I'm going to continue with the different themes and artists.
Every Sunday I sit here and think 'who am I going to pick this week' or 'what theme will I pick', well for once I don't have to ponder because I already know who I want to pick!!
I'll give you a few clues...
She's an artist (and yes she's a she), she originates from Barbados, no matter what hairstyle she has she rocks it...I think it's kind of obvious now.
Yes the artist of the week is Rihanna!!
I have a love/hate relationship with Rihanna. Hands down she's an amazing artist, killer voice but with her earlier songs I wasn't really a fan, it wasn't till she started rocking the red hair and the alternative dress that I changed my mind. Her songs became more current and how can you not dance around to them all. I know there are a LOT of people who love Rihanna unconditional, I can't say that but I am a fan of her music, style, hair, tattoos and her overall natural cool. Btw I will add one of my favourite Rihanna songs is Diamonds; but you won't see it here as it was on my playlist last week.
So sit back, relax and ENJOY!!

And There's A New Moon On The Rise...

Hat - New Look
Top - River Island
Skirt - River Island
Jacket(s) - Primark & River Island
Socks - Primark
Shoes - Topshop
Jewellery - H&M / River Island / New Look & Topshop
Hey Everyone!!
It's Friday!!
I feel like it's the middle of the week though...is that weird??
Yes that is weird because I am weird!!
Moving on...
I feel like a walking advertisement for River Island in this outfit.
Although the top, skirt and coat was bought in the sale; I'm still showing my unconditional love for the brand.
Although I am a cheap skate for buying it all in the sale...I can't help it I'm a savvy shopper!!
Thinking about it I should be against them, as something I ordered off them disappeared and I'm getting a refund...UNFAIR!!!
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after I went to get x-rays.
Warning - this could be a boring post!!
So on Wednesday I went to the doctors about my dodgy knee, (which at this moment in time is being annoying). As you know I suffer a lot with my right knee and for years I thought it was a dislocating patella, turns out it might be an inflammation of the patella (don't ask). So I went in for x-rays today to see if there was another problem or something along those lines. Unfortunately I won't know until next week; but at least for now I have something to tell work (that's if they ask). I went with my Dad (my Nan.J had an appointment and my Mum went with her); there was hardly anyone there and even then I spent most of my time texting. Before you moan at me my Dad was on his phone texting too!! I think literally we waited about 10 - 15 minutes, which is the quickest time I've ever waited (generally hate hospitals). It was quick and easy...well I say easy I did have to hold on to step on to a wooden box (weird I know). I then had to lie on the bed on my right side, left leg straight and the right knee bent with my right foot resting on my left leg. Yes frigging human origami!! I laid there literally rolling my eyes the whole time. As soon as I came out we pretty much went straight home, I plugged myself in to my IPod and ignored everyone. Tiredness + my Dad's bad driving = ratty Becky!! I told you this was a very boring post but I wanted to do an OOTD.
To the outfit...
Fist things first yes I'm not wearing make up again!! Due to my bad sleeping pattern and watching Legally Blonde - The Musical again (I love Christian Borle); I didn't exactly wake up early and my eyes preferred to stay closed. Anyway like I said earlier I feel as if this is my homage to River Island, well either that or burgundy (a lot of burgundy is going on here). I have one new item to show you, this burgundy side split maxi skirt (here is the black one). I picked this skirt up in Bluewater when Charlie and I went for the January sales. As you guys know my goal for the trip was to buy a coat and bottoms. Now I've already spoken about my new coat, so it's about time I moved on to the skirt. I initially picked up a few pairs of jeans and trousers and then looked at the skirts. It was a jammed packed rail full of clothes, which in any other situation is my dream but in this case it was a nightmare. But by some luck I found this skirt and it was £10 and I knew I had to try it on. As usual none of the jeans or trousers fit but when I tried this on, I knew I had to get it. I love the dark colour, the side splits give it something extra and also it's so long on me (this is it high waisted). For £10 I'm definitely going to get my wear out of this even in the summer.
Well I'm absolute bore today!!
I can't help it with the impending weekend and of course that means work (BOO).
I should start cheering up!!
Maybe tomorrow...
