Hey guys!!
This is my third day blogging in a
row!!
I will warn I will blogging a lot
these next few weeks; but it will most probably be full of boring stuff and
you'll be sick of me.
Of course if my outfits are really
that bad then I won't show them, (this one isn't spectacular but oh well).
Tiredness has taken over again!!
Ok yes I didn't go to bed till 2am
but I wanted to finish my book!!
I recommend it to everyone, it's
called 'Sisters
in Arms: British Army Nurses Tell Their Story - Nicola Tyrer'. It's about
the QA's in the Second World War and it's so inspirational, although I know
they wouldn't want the attention but more people should know about their
courageous efforts.
Please do check the book out!!
I'm going off topic again...
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after I
popped out for a few hours.
Again I'm being vague!!
As you know yesterday I said that I
had to be somewhere at 2pm which meant more waiting around. Thankfully I got
there 5 minutes early considering I woke up late, spent too much time doing my
make up, couldn't decide what to wear and generally had no energy. I did have
enough money on my oyster and I got the bus and walked there in time. The
security guard remembered me from yesterday (I think); because he said that he
knew I would go off (metal detector). I can't help it if I have a tendency to
wear a lot of metal. (Which reminds me I have finally changed my second lobes!!
I can't touch them though because I feel sick every time I do). I went up the
lift and in to the assemble area and sat down, said a few hellos and started
reading my book (Tinker
Tailor Soldier Spy - John Le Carre; I did start reading this ages ago but
I'm re-reading it). Soon enough some of us were moved to a different room where
we got chosen, (I will explain in three weeks I promise). I honestly didn't
expect to be chosen and thought I would be waiting around yet again; but when
my name was called I said yes and went and took my seat. Thankfully I'm in a
group with nice people so I'm not as scared as I originally was. I didn't leave
until half 4, I think maybe just before and then I'm back at 10:30am. For the
next three weeks I'm going to be sitting on my arse; but I'll be doing my civic
duty so I guess that's a good thing. God my life will be boring!!
To the outfit...
Yes I know this is a very boring
outfit and I apologise for that; but I was in a rush and I thought I would be
waiting around. I don't know whether I was relieved or hated the idea of not waiting
around. So a possible boring day meant for a bit of a boring outfit. Now I
don't think you've seen this top before and yet it's quite old. I picked this
up from Bench in House of Fraser a few years ago when
it was in the sale. When you're not wearing a cardigan it looks a lot baggier
and it is. The funny thing is this top is a size small but its mahoosive!! I
fell in love with this top because of all the skeletons, that's why I paired it
with cross studs and skull rings. A little bit of skulls...well a lot really!!
O M G my head is killing me and no
doubt it's going to turn in to a migraine. Plus I can't stop coughing and my
throat feels weird!! Just when I can't take a day off I feel like I'm going to
get ill!!
Fingers crossed it's just because I
haven't slept properly in two days.
I promise you all a stylish and
feminine outfit for tomorrow!!
Well I'll try...
B x
