Who needs to go on holiday when you can use bronzer!
So like I said on Friday it was that time of the month (again not that one) yes it was Benefit time again. As usual Mum and I popped in to town to House of Fraser and I was beautified. I'm not going to go on and on about how I love all the products and practically have them all, I'm just going to talk about the products that I've never tried before (yes believe it or not) and even my favourites from this look.
On Friday there was a special reason for my beautifying as Benefit had released the new range - Ultra Plush Lip Gloss Collection; each Lip Gloss corresponds with a particular Box O'Powder. I was particularly intrigued by these lip glosses ever since I heard of the release, I liked the idea of matching with the powders but it would be interesting to see how they were converted. Inge (who as you know does my make up regularly) asked which of the powders is my favourite; this was hard as I have used quite a few of them for example Coralista, Sugarbomb, Dallas (well I have it just haven't used it) and Hoola. I decided to go with Hoola as I've been in love with this product forever but I've always been too scared to attempt it on my own. I ended up purchasing the Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Hoola as I loved the nude colour and the smooth texture of it; I also purchased the Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow/Liner in Tattle Tale but I'll come to that later. I learnt on Friday different combinations of make up, for example mixing "That Gal" which is a primer with Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation and OMG how did I not know about this! By combining to products that I would never think to match I was left with a pink brightened glow; it's definitely a combination I'll be trying in the future. Another two which both combined Sun Beam with different products, there was Erase Paste and Sun Beam which to me is a very odd combination but actually it's genius and of course Hoola and Sun Beam which is pure heaven. Is there anything Sun Beam can't do? I'm going to be brave and actually use my Sun Beam. As you can see above I added two photos instead of one this is because I wanted to show my eyes. When I look at this make up on me especially with the eyes, I feel a bit like Cleopatra but also it’s a very classic look. As you know last time I did buy two Velvet Eye Shadows (which I have yet to use) and again this time I purchased, (as I said earlier) a Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow/Liner in Tattle Tale. I liked the golden combination of Tattle Tale and the Velvet Eye Shadow Bikini Line (which my mum has); I feel more confident recreating this look as I did on Saturday and I think I did pretty well. I think the golden combination is more versatile then the purple duo (not that I don't love them); I can see myself doing the golden look whether it's for a day look or night.
I love that every time I go to Benefit I learn more and I think that's what you need when it comes to make up; it's very rare you meet people who are perfect at make up but for people like me who are absolutely hopeless, it's good to have someone to help you along. I've already worn the Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Hoola twice already! I'm addicted and I love it!

*I've not been asked to write about Benefit's products nor am I being paid to do so. I'm simply just a fan of the brand and the products.
