Hey everyone!!
I'm back again!!
I seem to keep saying that a lot lately...
I seem to keep saying that a lot lately...
Anyway...
I'm here today to my
monthly 'Things I Love' post!!
I don't know what it
is about this month; but I've seemed to have forgotten everything. It's been a
busy month and I think I've spent 75% of it tired (doesn't surprise me).
Although I haven't updated as much as I would have liked to, here's hoping July
will be a little better - didn't I say that last month?? Now I think there's no
brainer on what I would pick for this months 'Things I Love' post.
Floral Headbands!
I honestly have no
idea what I did before floral headbands were introduced in to my life. I know
for years I've seen them; but I've never taken the plunge because I thought
they wouldn't suit me. There's also the case that I've never found one that I
actually liked/one that isn't overpriced. It wasn't until I found this pink one
on the Forever
21 website that I took notice. As I am now blonde and with longer hair
(pre-haircut); I thought it was about time I experimented more with my hair. My
usual look is just twisting my fringe and clipping in to place, so I wanted to
do something a little bit more exciting. Like I said when I saw this on the Forever 21
website I almost couldn't believe it. The fact that this particular headband was
elasticated, rather then wire appealed to me. It was almost as if the stars
were aligned when I found this. The colours were perfect, the price was perfect
and the fact that it was about to be mine made it even more perfect. For £4.90
I have certainly got my wear out of this and it will literally be on my head
for the rest of the summer. Due to my new obsession with floral headbands, I
wanted to build up my collection without paying excessive amounts of money. Now
when I think of affordable items, I think of Primark. So one Monday before work
I popped in to my local Primark and decided to have a look at what they had to
offer. There was an array of small flowers on elastic, small flowers on wire,
one flower on elastic and then the one I got. I liked the cream headband
because of it being a neutral colour. With the pink one I have to be selective
with what I wear it with; but with a neutral one I could wear it with more. For
£2.50 you honestly can't complain! It's the little touches such as the leaves
poking out the end and the glitter on top, just make it that much more summery.
I think I've most probably worn this headband more than the pink one. It just
goes with everything whether it's a maxi dress or a baggy t-shirt and
dungarees. I did recently buy a black glitter one again for £2.50 in Primark;
but we'll see if I love that one just as much as these. It proves that you will
eventually find the perfect ones for you.
I just need
more...(slightly obsessed)
