Hey guys!!
How are we all??
Good??
That’s what I like to hear!!
I am literally so tired from my full
on day yesterday!
My eyes may be awake but none of my
limbs are working...
Not good!!
I'm really bored today as well!!
I don't know what it is about
weekends but they are so dull for me!!
I'm either ill, upset, pissed off,
tired or just in neutral...
WEEKENDS SUCK!!!
Anyway...
Enough of my moaning!!
This was me yesterday after I came
back from town and before I went to London.
Now for the past 5/6 weeks I have
been a book worm with my head in one book, studying hard and focusing on the
ultimate goal - theory test! Yes ladies and gentlemen I had booked my theory
test for Friday 7th June 2013 and I was absolutely petrified. You see the
theory test has been the one thing that has scared me about learning to drive.
When I started driving two years ago, I was doing so well that all I had to do
was my theory test (and no I'm not blowing my own trumpet). But shortly
afterwards I gave up driving and put in on the back burner until now. I've been
meaning to do my theory test; but I always found an excuse not to do it. Last
month I put my foot down and thought enough is enough, I'm going to book my
theory test for once and for all. I have been working hard and practicing with
the book and online and it all came down to yesterday. As D-Day arrived I
headed in to town to the test centre with my Mum, where she left me and I
continued inside. I was so nervous going up those 4 flights of stairs (the lift
was out) and when I reached the top there was a lady on the phone, who had
failed by three points - scary! I went to the desk and gave my name, where the
lady proceeded to give me a sheet of the rules and regulations. At this point I
was just so scared that I scanned the rules and quickly handed it back. I got
my locker key and I went to put my things away, I then sat round the corner
waiting to go in. Eventually I was sent in and my test began... I honestly
thought I had failed when I was doing the test, especially as the multiple
choice section should have taken 50 minutes and I was done in 20. After I
finished I came out and grabbed my bag and queued up to get my results. When it
was my turn the bloke behind the desk offered me a magazine, I promptly said no
and had to stop myself from shouting 'JUST BLOODY TELL ME'. He handed me a
piece of paper and didn't say anything, at this point I thought I had failed
and I would have to redo it. When I looked at the paper in my hand I saw the
word 'congratulations' I couldn't believe it - I PASSED!! I honestly couldn't
believe it, I actually said (out loud in a room full of strangers) 'OH MY GOD I
PASSED!!!' I was so happy. I immediately rang my Mum to meet up with her, but
the first person I told my news to was my Dad. I eventually told everyone else
(who would listen) that I passed and I'm so glad I've done it. As a
congratulations present my Mum treated me to three books, she knows the way to
my heart. Later on I headed to Late
@ Tate at Tate Britain,
it was a busy event and I really enjoyed Best City
Fashion they were so funny. It was a long and tiring day; but I had a nice
long sleep to make up for it.
To the outfit...
Now as the nice weather has come back
and the sun is shining, I wanted to wear something very summery/stylish
yesterday. I mainly wanted to wear my new boots and my dungarees, as I thought
they would be a good combination together. Talking about my new boots - these
are my lovely Topshop
April Classic Chelsea Boots that I picked up last week in Bluewater. Most
of you may know that I have completely wrecked my lace up boots, which I always
wear with skirts and dresses. Now because I have wrecked the loves of my life,
I have no shoes to wear with skirts and dresses. So when I was in Topshop last week, I
decided to have a look at the shoes (as you do) and I found these beauties.
They were in the mini sale section and were down to £35 and I couldn't believe
they were a size 9. I tried the right foot on and when it fitted I couldn't
believe it, the best part was that it fitted over my fat foot (yes it's still
swollen). They looked good with my skirt and knew I had to have them. I managed
to get some cheeky discount so they only cost me £31.50. I currently have
blisters from them, but I'll eventually break them in. I am wearing a lot of
pink here, which will probably never happen again (hopefully).
I didn't quite realise how long this
post would be!!
I'm having a quiet day in watching
re-runs of 'Allo 'Allo' one
of my favourite shows.

I'm now going to hibernate...
