Hey All!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
I have to admit I'm a mix of emotions today...
You see on one hand I only had three and a bit hours sleep so I'm half dead; and on the other I'm currently watching the Festival of Remembrance which gets me going.
I don't know what it is about the troops but I just start crying!!
When it was the Super Bowl I actually started crying when they flashed to the troops out in Afghanistan!!
Yes I started crying at troops watching football...don't ask!!
Also I did my first haul video today and whenever I try to upload it my laptop keeps dying, which now pisses me off cause it's happened three times now.
Anyway...
This was me earlier today after coming back from Bluewater with Charlie.
Charlie had previously offered to take me on a day out; but last Saturday I wasn't in exactly a good mood (something about Saturdays) so we put it off. We kept thinking about where we'd want to go but we pretty much wanted to go everywhere. There were many suggestions like zoos, castles, National Trust places (reminds me of my childhood); but in the end we decided to window shop in Bluewater. We were up pretty early this morning especially considering I hadn't really slept, (that's what you get for crashing on the sofa and being up till 5am). Even though when we left in Mildred we were running later we still got there early (well for us). It was quite funny because as we arrived at the vastness that is Bluewater, we were listening to 'It's a Small World' which instantly reminds me of Disneyland Paris. I suddenly got really excited and felt as if I was in Disneyland. I won't bore you with all the details of Charlie and I walking in and out of various shops; but here are a few highlights - we got lost in John Lewis, Charlie treated me to the Animators Doll of Mulan (I already have the Aurora one); I picked up an amazing aztec/tribal print maxi skirt for a tenner from Urban Outfitters, Charlie got her dress for her post graduation night out, I picked up a present for my Mum's birthday and we had lunch in a nice restaurant called Giraffe. Overall it was a nice day but by god was I tired (still am) when we left; doesn't help that I currently have back/shoulder ache on my right side. Mean.
To the outfit...
I feel like I'm currently dressing like a 16 year old. Not that it's a bad thing to dress like that, I'm merely saying for a 20 year old I should be dressing more demurely. I wanted to be comfortable and initially last night I did kinda want to wear my Alexy boots; but I would have died in them and would have had to buy a new pair of shoes. I decided to wear my new Purple Cosmic Print Lace Up Trainers from New Look. I ordered these in a large order last Saturday and I'm not a big trainer fan; but for some reason I liked the alternative look of these. I really liked the cosmic print which I wasn't originally sure I would buy in to; but I think this is a good way to dip your foot in. For £9.99 (they're currently 25% off so they're cheaper); you're undoubtedly going to get your moneys worth and I wore them today and I have no complaints. I have quite big feet so when I see my size I buy them and I'm glad I invested in these shoes. They're definitely going to be my go to pair of shoes in this unpredictable weather. I kept the rest of my outfit pretty basic with a grey/black mix with silver jewellery.
I'm not feeling like myself tonight and I think I need to forget that I have work in the morning.
I'm going to try and upload my haul tomorrow without my laptop dying.
Wish me luck...

Evening All!!!
And it really is evening as it is currently 11:25pm!!
I can explain - I've just got back from drinks with friends, I enjoyed myself a lot and I hope to do it again.
I am also happy...(drum roll please)
The fire is on!! YAYAYAY!!!
I will no longer freeze to death while watching TV!!
I'm so happy about that...is that weird??
Anyway...
This was me yesterday after I got home from my interview.
I have to admit I was pretty nervous for my interview yesterday, in fact I spent most of the day memorising as much information as I could. (I'm not going to tell you who it was for just in case I don't get the job). I did go to somewhere new in London - Farringdon. Such an odd station and it's quite a big station. Anyway I ended up walking up a few backstreets (after originally going the wrong way); I tell you it's a tricky place to get to but I eventually found it. I would say there was about 20 - 25 of us there and I must admit I felt intimidated. I'm one of those who feels really confident when they leave the house; but goes back in to my shell when I'm surrounded by stylish people. After being forced to watch E News! (It was hell) we were taken downstairs where three tables waited. We all sat down and had to write out a suitability form etc (that part wasn't really interesting); and then as a table we were asked to design a shoe, brand, logo etc which was kind of fun. I love doing tasks like that because I feel more confident now to put my opinion across. I felt quite proud of myself as I got to pick the celebrity endorsement for our shoe. I'm starting to realise now if I'm loud enough people will listen. After what felt like longer then it actually was we had to present our shoe in a presentation, I picked to talk about advertising and celebrity endorsement as it was all about magazines which are my kinda thing. Eventually they let most of the candidates go but kept some us behind, I was one of the ones kept behind and initially I was nervous as sometimes that’s not a good sign. There must have been seven of us left and we sat there nervously; but all they wanted to know was our preferences about where we wanted to work. I would like to think that's a good sign but I'll find out by Wednesday, so fingers crossed!!
To the outfit...
I knew I had to dress smart/fashionable which is an obvious combination. I wanted to do something more alternative with a maxi skirt; but I thought I'd better keep it more traditional. I definitely wanted to wear flats as I knew potentially I'd probably be doing a lot of walking. I went for a plain outfit (it's quite funny because I would probably wear this to work); I originally was going to go for a red blazer but felt like the black and white one was more appropriate. With wearing black and white I planned on wearing silver jewellery and of course that includes me new cross necklace. I love this necklace and for £6 from ASOS I think it's an absolute bargain. I did decide to wear my old faithful top from Primark, which I think I wear too much. I seem to wear it to most of the interviews I've gone to and I wear it all the time for work. It's just such a good top and I love it, as it hides my lumps and bumps but also shows some lovely cleavage (I can't help it). I topped it off with my new bag from New Look. How nice is this bag?? At the moment most of the bags I own (that are black) keep braking, so I was in dyer need of a new bag and I hunted this one down. It's nice and big and can be worn whether handheld or on the shoulder. And for £15.99 you can't complain, it's my new go to bag.
I do apologise if this post is a little bit boring; but it is now 1:35am in the morning and I'm out of it.
Suppose I should get some sleep...
Nah!!

I've Go To Move On And Be Who I Am...

Hey All!!!
Hope you're all well this afternoon!!
I'm under the weather today and have been since 5am this morning (such a long day).
But I'm hoping I'll feel better soon and not so cold.
Anyway...
Today is different to what I usually do.
Now if any of you follow me on Twitter or happened to see my tweet about saying goodbye to college, you might be wondering what exactly is going on. Well that's why I'm here today to clear a few things up.
I officially left college yesterday as I felt I could no longer be there. I've never felt comfortable at college and like myself, I did feel better when Leah started and we clicked but after she left I went back to how I was before. I didn't have the drive to do the work not because I'm not hard working; but purely because my heart wasn't in it. In doing this course you're working towards University and even though I've been to open days, I just never felt excited about spending 3 years piling up debt - if I wanted to do that I'd buy a Chanel bag!! University was always something I was never sure of and I wish I was 'cause it would be such a good experience; but it's just not for me - laments terms education isn't for me. Education and I have never got along together we're very much two different people who want two different things. We constantly make up and break up and even though we want to make it work, we just can't seem to find the balance and the happiness in the relationship. So for the last time (I hope) I broke up with education and I feel better for it. Having school phobia in Secondary school has always made me weary of education, I never trusted the education system and without trust there can be no relationship. (I really am weird).
So what's next...
Well I still have my job at Debenhams on a Sunday, plus with Christmas coming up it means I can do more hours. I have my work experience in a week and a half so hopefully that will open up some doors. I'm gonna go and work hard and of course look fabulous. I have a job interview tomorrow which is for a permanent position and I think full time, so that's not too bad plus it means I don't have to worry about finding more jobs. I have been applying like mad to various jobs (all retail) and hopefully something will happen. If I don't get the job tomorrow, then at least I can focus on work experience and of course I always have Debenhams to fall back on.
Overall I think I'm going to be alright in the long term. I'm going to focus on doing the things that I want to do and what make me happy. I want to get back to driving (now Charlie has Mildred); I also want to work on my voice with singing lessons and hopefully do the grades and finally work on my novel.
Honestly there will probably days where I will regret my decision and cry my eyes out; but there will be days where I'm happy with what I've now got and the freedom. I'm 20 years old so it's not as if I'm a spring chicken who has the time to figure out what they want, I'm now an adult who needs to decide what they ACTUALLY want. Right now I want to be happy and that is my main priority.
Of course if any of you guys have questions or can relate to me, then you're more then welcome to comment or send me an email.
Hope you all have a good day!!

From The Stories And Poems, I Would Steal From A Library Shelf...

A little bit of inspiration for November!!
Now it's getting colder there's more of an urge to cover up rather then make an effort, so I thought I would show some effortless looks. Whether a chunky knit or a cosy coat all these looks will be the perfect compliment.
Come to think of it I should probably start digging out all my chunky knits and thick coats.
To repeat myself - bring on the cold!!

Your Harmony To The Melody, It's Echoing Inside My Head...

Happy Sunday!!!
Yes it's that time of week again!!
And O M G it's November!! When did that happen??
I have another busy month ahead of me (boo); but I'll try and make the most of it.
Now this week's playlist is just going to be Musical Theatre themed!! YAYAY!!!
As you know I am absolutely obsessed with Musical Theatre and I love it all; but here are some of the ones that instantly cheer me up. Now I will mention I've already added some of my favourites already on to past playlists so I won't repeat. I’ll be good!!
Right. Sit back, relax and ENJOY!!

Well, It's Easy To See, He Was Writing For Me...

Monthly Want - Early November
You're probably thinking why am I doing an early November monthly want??
Well it's easy - I forgot to do an October one!! Seen as the 23rd came right after my birthday (21st in case you forgot); so with all the commotion (and mental breakdowns) I completely forgot to do one. So I thought I would do two this month instead!!
Anyway...
How nice is this dress??
How have I not known about this dress before!!!
I saw this the other day on LLYMRS and I immediately knew I needed it in my wardrobe. It's one of those pieces that you can dress up and dress down. Can I just mention that this dress is the perfect colour to match most of my wardrobe, not to mention perfect for work!! And it also comes in other colours - this dress is so versatile. For £25 as well I do believe you will get your moneys worth out of this dress, I know that I would probably wear it everyday. They do a short sleeved version as well which will be good for spring/summer; but it's not a bad idea to get them in now and then you've got them. The fit of this dress is perfect as it will show off your shape, but still have the right amount of bagginess on the days when you want to hide everything (I often have them). Can I see this dress being a part of my wardrobe in the future?? Definitely!!
Bring on payday!!
(Yes I've already blown through my pay check - oops).

Afternoon All!!!
How are we all??
I'm not feeling completely myself today!!
In fact I'm meant to be on a family trip to Camden but I just felt like a day in.
I feel like I get more and more anti-social as the days go on...
Is that a bad thing??
I suppose it is and I should learn to be sociable again...well maybe after the weekend!!
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me yesterday after the first trip in Mildred to the garden centre Polhill (glamorous I know).
Now originally I was meant to meet up with a friend yesterday but that fell through, so I was sitting on the sofa bored and hounding Charlie and Mum with texts till they asked if I wanted to go for a drive. I should probably mention now that Charlie has bought herself a cherry red Toyota Yaris (second hand). It's a really nice car and compact for what (I) she needs; it felt really natural being in the car with her driving but I kept laughing at my Dad in the back!! We were on our way to Polhill, when we stopped off to have a Toby Carvery but unfortunately there was a 40 minute way! Completely unfair! Polhill is one of my favourite places for two reasons - Fred and Wilma. Fred and Wilma are two MASSIVE Koi fishes that live at Polhill among others. I used to love running straight to see them; but its funny now as I'm tall enough to look over and in to the tank. I literally think everything you could possibly need is at Polhill it's just a mash up of gifts, clothes, pets, plants, food etc. I love going there when I get the chance. I have to admit Charlie is quite a good driver, I think she'll be better when my Dad doesn't bark his orders at her. Note to self - don't let Dad in the car when I start driving!!
To the outfit...
I was quite good yesterday as I did kind of know what I wanted to wear. I had the word 'jumper' flashing in my mind as I know how cold it is at the moment. I was initially going to chuck on my vintage cream chunky knit jumper, but I thought I'd be more girly and go for my Red Herring Pink/Peach Sequinned Jumper instead. I actually picked this jumper up quite some time ago (I think last month maybe). I initially was going to go for a longer neutral jumper but at the last minute I changed my mind (typical); I was drawn to the sequinned pinkness of this jumper. Now you know I'm not a fan of pink but I just really like this jumper, thankfully I did get 40% off it (extra 20% staff discount). In total it was £23.50 (I think) which I thought was quite good considering I'll dig it out every winter. It's not that long as well which means it goes well with skirts, over dresses and with trousers. I wanted to toughen up the look by adding a bit of camouflage (I actually love this jacket).
I apologise if this post is a little all over the place as I'm not quite with it today.
I think I should actually hibernate...not a bad idea!!
See ya in 6 months!!
I wish...
