Meet Me At Electric Chapel...

Now usually I only do one Tumblr post a month.
But I thought seen as Summer is coming to an end, I will soon be returning to wearing plaid and boots for the next 5 or so months - why not have a little be of inspiration??
So here is a mix of denim, spikes, tartan, leather and camo to ignite those fashion senses.
I need to start shopping STAT!!!

But I Prefer A Man Who Lives And Gives Expensive Jewels...

Dress - Louche @ Joy
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Topshop & Primark
How is it Saturday already??
Where has the week gone??
Anyway...
Hello again!!
Nice to see you!!
Just a quick post today!!
This was me on Thursday when Mum and I went to enrol in College, (well Mum was there for moral support).
So like I said yesterday I'm officially enrolled at College!!
I'm freaking out!!
College has always been a taboo subject (well anything to do with education); so the idea of going back after an 18 month gap is a bit daunting. The course I'm going to be doing is an Access course, which means it's a year long and is a pre-university one. I would only be at College for a year (well not quite a year) but the whole thing is slightly scaring me. It didn't help that enrolment took nearly 2 hours and I still have to go back next week to enrol on the Maths GCSE, (yes I have to do that again it's completely unfair). I did get my access card which again I hate!! In my old college one I was blonde and looked like a ghost, in this one I have a balloon face and I have shiny rays going across my face. As if that was bad enough I had a bank emergency when I found out my account had been blocked; because I hadn’t used it in 6 months!! But thankfully that's all sorted and I'm looking forward to getting a shiny new card!! Ooooo shiny!!
A pretty stressful week with monumental things happening - how am I still going??
To the outfit...
I'm a princess again!!
Yes I'm wearing my lovely Louche @ Joy dress that I absolutely love. I knew realistically I would probably never find another excuse to wear this dress, so I thought why not chuck the dress on and feel glamorous for enrolment. Considering all the walking around/sitting down I had to do this was the perfect thing to wear. I wanted to dress it down as this is quite a glamorous dress, so I thought my denim jacket would be the most perfect compliment to this outfit. I always put my denim jacket over everything; but I think that's because I miss it during the winter (yes I miss clothes too - it's normal). I wanted to keep the accessories very minimalist, so I added my straw bag and a yellow stone ring from Primark just to hold the look together.
I feel this post is a bit of a moany one, I think that's normal to have a moan now and again.
I promise next week I'll be a good girl!!
Well I'll be working a lot, have to revise maths, getting my hair done etc.
Maybe the week after then...

Vogue, Vogue, Vogue...

Hat - Forever 21
Top - River Island
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - Topshop / River Island / Miss Selfridge & Dorothy Perkins
Me with British Vogue's Executive Fashion Director Calgary Avansino!!
T.G.I.F!!!
I hope you've all had a good week!!
Mine has been pretty busy (makes a change).
I am now officially enrolled in College which feels really weird and I have to admit I'm having my doubts. I know education is meant to be good so on and so forth; but sometimes I wonder if it's right for me or not. I think the only thing to do is give it a try and see if it works. I do have less than 3 weeks so at least I have a longer holiday.
Anyway...
This was me Wednesday night when Charlie and I attended the - British Vogue in association with Topshop New Season Style Night for A/W 12 Event (I think that's what it was called). It was held at Topshop in Knightsbridge 6 - 8pm. Charlie and I arrived after quarter past six and decided to head up the stairs to have a glass of champers and canapés, (which we only saw twice but second time round Charlie grabbed some). Another good thing about this night was not only the 20% off any purchase (oh yeah); but there was a talk about new season trends with British Vogue's Executive Fashion Director Calgary Avansino. The talk was the most exciting part for me as I couldn't believe I would be able to meet an actual Vogue editor!! Charlie and I managed to get some good seats (third row) and at 7pm the talk began. Calgary had a rail of clothing which she used to talk through the trends, now most of the items she pulled I had already fallen in love with just walking round the shop. The trends consisted of Mod, Decadence, Winter Florals, Oversized etc most of the trends are definitely something I would wear; but there were others that although are amazing I know they wouldn't personally suit me. The talk was insightful and Calgary translated the trends in to laments terms so it was easier to understand; (as Charlie says). In the Q&A section I plucked up the courage to ask a question about which two trends would you combine in to one outfit? I can't quite remember the answer as by that time I was buzzing from the atmosphere, (not the champers I could barely drink one glass) I think it was leather and mod. After the talk Charlie went to grab a jumper she liked so I decided to have a look at a t-shirt, which just happened to be right where Calgary was standing. Now I wasn't going to ask her another question but I thought well I'm standing here so why not. My heart was going ten to a dozen while I listened to other people's questions and then it came to my turn, I asked Calgary 'I'm starting my first magazine work experience in October - what should I or shouldn't I do?' It was really helpful to have a Vogue editor give me tips, especially as work experience is the main foundation to break in to the magazine industry. (Oh yeah btw I'm doing my first magazine work experience in October - exciting stuff!!) After Calgary answered my question I asked for a photo which thankfully turned out quite good; and then I headed over to Charlie completely buzzing and I literally couldn't stop smiling. After all the excitement, I did pick up a Johnny Depp Vest Top and Charlie treated me to a pair of Black Skull Studs that match my ring; also with every purchase we were given a Cream Star Print Snood/Scarf. Overall it was a good night and I can't believe I was actually considering not going - insane!!
To the outfit...
Now I had absolutely no idea what to wear to the event. My initial thought was to wear something more individual and out of the box for me; but unfortunately all the clothes in my wardrobe are completely and utterly me - so dead end. I pondered and stressed over it for days and come up with loads of outfits; but in the end I decided to wear something I'm most comfortable in. As you know I am the most at home in neutral colours but mostly monochrome, there's just something about a black and white combination that makes me feel at home. I wanted to jazz it up a bit so I thought why not chuck on my favourite sequinned beanie. Also here's the return of my lovely Rocco bag!! I do miss using this bag (sounds crazy I know) but I crave studs when I'm not wearing them. Love a bit of edge!!!
I have two relaxing days at home before I'm working for two days!!
I have another busy week ahead but at least I'm getting my hair done - yayayay!!!
Now what colour should I go??
I'll never decide...

Talk To Me Harry Winston Tell Me All About It!

Monthly Want - August
Dr Martens 1461 Shoe / Black Smooth - £90

I love these!!
I've only recently discovered these (yes I'm a bit late); but I'm now obsessed.
Now £90 is a little bit pricey, but I think in the long run you're not only going to get your wear out of them but you're gonna look darn good doing it.
I think these will be perfect in the winter months, whether it's trudging back and forth from college or popping to town for a quick shopping spree. These look comfy and versatile and I think it's safe to say I need them! STAT!!!
Good job pay day is soon!!
Thank you job!!

Reminds Me Of Childhood Memories...

Top(s) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Shoes - New Look
Bag - ASOS
Jewellery - Topshop / River Island / Miss Selfridge & Dorothy Perkins
Sunnies - Primark
Two months till my birthday!!!!!
Yes only two more months till I am 20!!
I get older every year and yet I feel younger on the inside - maybe maturity kicks in later...who am I kidding I'm practically a grandma at the age of 19! It's downhill from here...
Anyway...
Hello nice to see you again!!
Welcome back!!
Just a quick post today!!
(A lot of exclamation points today.)
This was me earlier today (well about an hour ago); when Charlie and I were at my Nan.J's working on a little project. Now I'm not going to mention much about it until I see how good the photos are; but I now officially know I'm not meant to be a photographer and Charlie doesn't want to be a model. In general a day of revelations. The exciting part of the day was when Charlie and I had chips for lunch. I am so unhealthy at the moment!! But the idea of eating a salad does not appeal to me (I need a fish finger or two). I think Nan.J loves it when we raid her house and keep running in and out of different rooms. My idea of good day is sitting in front of the TV, reading magazines and not moving for love or money - you can tell College is going to be a shock for me!!
To the outfit...
I honestly didn't know what to wear today. My first thought was to wear shorts but as it's got slightly chillier today I had no clue. I thought I'd wear my faithful Warehouse trousers but I didn't know what top or jacket. Now this top has been hanging in front of Charlie's wardrobe for quite some time now. I will mention I am one of those people who buys band t-shirts regardless if I listen to the music or not; if I like it then I'll buy and I may not listen to the music but I admire the band/artist. I’ve always wanted a Guns'N'Roses top but I didn't want a bog standard band one, so when I saw this in Primark I knew I wanted it! Unfortunately the first time I saw this they didn't have my size(typical), but when I went back again they had my size and I didn't even think twice. I thought it would be a longer length then it is but any longer and it would be too long. This top also has the deep slits under the arms which for this top makes it that much more Rock'n'Roll. I think adding a plaid shirt to this outfit gives it that comfort but also that added extra element. Overall I like this outfit but unfortunately I look dorky with my hair up and my sandals...not a good look.
I feel quite tired today but Charlie and I put a lot of effort in to today and fingers crossed it's paid off.
I'll keep you posted!!

I'll Burn In Boiling Eternity...

Dress - Louche @ Joy
Shoes - New Look
Belt - Primark
Jewellery - Primark & Dorothy Perkins
Sunnies - River Island
Happy Monday!!!
I am so tired today and the prospect of a busy week isn't exactly helping.
This heat doesn't help either - as you can see my hair has gone and decided to be a flat, greasy mess. I'm caught between washing it everyday or shaving it all off; neither is appealing to me so I'm forced to wear it in a bun at home.
I can't function in this heat and wearing black to work yesterday when it was boiling - yeah not my idea of fun! I had my legs out and wore a Black Cotton Skater Dress from Topshop; which I love as I have officially worn it two weeks in a row for work. Plus it keeps me cool during this unpredictable weather.
So this was me earlier when I popped out with the family.
Firstly we headed up to my old college to pick up my GCSE results. I did my GCSE's 2 years ago, but I never picked up my certificates and seen as I'm enrolling on Thursday in my new college; I needed something from them to say I did do them. It was very dull and my old college couldn't organise a p*** up in a brewery, so it was just a stressful time rather then a hand over of documents (or in their case a piece of headed paper with my results on - twats!!) I did get an apple doughnut so I was happy (and it tasted nice). Next we headed to Wing Yip a massive Chinese supermarket which Charlie loves!! I'm not a fan of Chinese food but I love all the interesting smells, and seeing all those weird and wonderful food. I did go and look at the live lobsters about 10 times - they're so cool!! After that we headed to John Lewis Home and O M G I want my whole house to be furnished like the store. I fell in love with everything from cards to cushions and curtains (a lot of C's); I did see a few flasks I liked which are my new obsession. Our next stop was Hobbycraft which is an arty person’s Mecca, to me it's a load of fluffy and shiny things that I want to collect and never use. I'm not an arts and crafts person. I'm the kind of person who buys everything already made; but seen as I'm constantly told to de-stress I decided to become more arty. I picked up some plain tote bags and fabric pens to decorate t-shirts and the tote bags themselves. Our penultimate destination was Sainsbury's (I always go to the best places); I picked up some food and the new Harper's Bazaar September issue. The final destination was my Nan.J's. I dropped off 3 bags of clothes (with the help of Charlie) at the local charity shop and then headed back to Nan's. I'm actually doing an exciting project with Charlie at my Nan.J's tomorrow, so I had to get the heads up to say it was ok before we went ahead and did it.
To the outfit...
Seen as it has suddenly become a tropical heat wave I wanted to wear something cool and yet not too revealing. I did contemplate wearing shorts but I couldn't decide on just one top to wear (too many choices); so I looked over and saw this dress hanging up and decided to bring it out again. I did first wear this dress back in May with very kooky accessories and a red, white (cream) and blue palette; but this time I wanted to do something simple. I've had this pearl collar from Primark for a while now, I've always loved the trend of collar necklaces and chokers but never quite knew how to wear it. It was just by some chance that I decided to pair this dress and the collar together, and that's how this outfit was created. The collar is a very versatile piece and for £4 you can't complain!! Who knows maybe this ensemble will be back in another kooky twist. I just realised this - but the day I wore this dress for the first time was the day I bought the sunnies I'm wearing!! How weird is that??
Like I said I have a busy week which is making me want to run and hide; but hopefully I'll be able to have a few lie ins here and there.
Fingers crossed...

Behind The Curtain In The Pantomime...

Top - New Look
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Shoes - Next
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Topshop / Accessorize / Dorothy Perkins / Miss Selfridge & River Island
Guten Tag!!
You would not believe I washed my hair yesterday!!
Whether it's my roots or this boiling weather ruining my hair - I'm not happy!! The problem is I don't like having my hair up because I have such chubby cheeks, and at the moment I am sweating like a sinner in church (in the words of Charlotte La Bouff) every time a little bit of heat hits me. My hair is meant purely for winter to keep me warm and not summer. If you just look at my hair in this photo you can see how flat and lifeless my hair is. I do want to try different products to help it but I am useless when it comes to beauty stuff, that’s why I go once a month to Benefit and they tell me what to do.
Anyway on to a different subject...
This was me earlier today when I popped in to town to run some errands. My main errand was to pop in to Snappy Snaps and get some passport photos. Now you can chart my hair history by all the passport photos and general photos over the years, it's my own little hair history gallery! Another main mission of mine was to buy a statement necklace from H&M. The other day I watched a haul with Shirley from Meek~n~Mild which included a gold and silver collar from H&M; and as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to get one but unfortunately my local H&M didn't have them. My second choice was to get their neon necklace but again I wasn't quite sure about it, so instead I purchased a simple gold interlinked necklace (again bad description) it is absolutely perfect and only £3.99!! I did also pop to the library as I haven't been in quite a long time; I borrowed two fashion books - Art Deco Fashion - Suzanne Lussier and The Fashion Handbook - Tim Jackson & David Shaw. A sucessful trip.
To the outfit...
I'm wearing two new items today. Firstly this top is something I wouldn't normally choose as it's quite bright; but a few months ago when I was in Cheltenham I was drawn to it in New Look. I like the baggy fit of it and the oatmeal base colour with the bright Aztec pattern, it is a size 18 as I do like it bigger but I don't think I could have had a smaller size. It is a really nice top but wearing it today I wasn't in love with it, so whether you see me wearing it again or whether it's going to the charity shop - we'll see I'll keep you posted. The next item is my lovely Spiked Shoes from Next. I always love looking through various blogs but one of my favourites is TheStylePlaylist. Courtney's style is insane and so amazing it makes me want to move to Arizona and live in shorts and kimonos. I love Courtney's shoe collection and when I saw her Unif Hellraisers I was instantly in love; but as I have big feet I thought buying the real deal wouldn't be an option so I started having a look around. I was randomly in Next one day with my Mum when I saw a pair of spiked flats and I was hooked. Now the ones that I've got are different to the ones I saw as my ones have spikes on the back as well. I'm in love with these shoes and for £30 I thought they were a bargain, compared to the prices you would pay elsewhere. My only advice is never wear them on a hot day as my poor feet sweated so much - it wasn't nice.
I've been updating my blog a lot this week which I'm happy with!!
I will be quiet tomorrow as naturally it's a Saturday and it's my traditional day at home; but no doubt I'll be back on Sunday for the week's playlist.
Time to relax...

Every Darkest Sky Has A Shining Ray...

Scarf (in hair) - Vintage
Top - Dorothy Perkins
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Miss Selfridge / Topshop / New Look / River Island & Dorothy Perkins
This has been such an odd week (and yes I know it's only Thursday).
I don't think I can handle anymore odd days - my poor nerves.
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier when I popped up my local high street to run a few errands. Not only did I have to send my HTC back for the FOURTH time!! But I also picked up some doughnuts (typical me), food and Glamour magazine. I love the September issues of magazines cause they're a feast for the eyes; all these sparkly, velvet, feather, silk, organza, amazing clothes that I will crave for that season. It's beautiful torture!! I get excited at the beginning of every season working out what I'm going to buy, cause as much as I would love to buy in to every trend my budget nor does my wardrobe have room for that. It's all about selecting those basic and classic pieces that will last every season - someone needs to help me with that!! Serial shopper - I can't help it!
To the outfit...
I was originally not going to photograph today’s outfit as I was just going to chuck on the usual fail safe, (skater dress, leggings and boots). But I thought to myself no I'm going to make the effort and get doled up. Firstly I would just like to point out I have my hair up! Now usually I would never go out with my hair up, but it was in a state and not even a beanie could make it look decent so I thought why not. My hair is in a bun and clipped all my hair back and added a vintage scarf for an added distraction. (I'm also wearing light make up just in case my usual translucent glow deceives you.) I should actually start talking about the outfit. This top is the one I picked up in Dorothy Perkins for £10 in Cirencester. I'd been after it for a few months but as it was full price I decided not to buy it; but now I'm glad I waited because I love it and for a tenner it's a bargain. It's nice and baggy on me which I love and it has the exaggerated under arms, (you know when it goes quite low on the side - you know I'm bad at describing). I love the horse design as I am a complete horse nut but I also like the vintage chain print element, it is in a combination of white, gold and pink but it works really well especially with the white background. I seemed to be wearing pink a lot again, I'm not gonna lie I'm slightly freaked out but I'm going to try and embrace it.
It's slightly weird how this time next year I would have done college, had my results and would know what Uni I'm going to!! That is too much to take in!
Can it be summer forever??
Maybe...

Of Knowing That The Best Is Yet To Come...

Hat - Forever 21
Top(s) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Primark
Jewellery - Dorothy Perkins / River Island / Miss Selfridge / Topshop & New Look
Wow I am absolutely knackered!!
I know I constantly moan about my tiredness but I swear I've developed insomnia!! I'm literally terrible at sleeping at the moment and yet I used to own it and smash it. I think I should start practicing sleeping again - well you know me any excuse.
Just a quick post today!!
Anyway this was me earlier when I popped to see the Gastroenterologist. Now I just want to apologise to the doctor I saw as I laid in to him, I literally let a rip and moaned at him about everything with my stomach etc. I think my Mum felt sorry for him when we came out but in fairness he looked like he was 12 years old; I'm sure he's a fully capable doctor and does his job right but when it comes to me - he can't win! I was told they would refer me to a dietician (cause of my fluctuating weight); which I think is hilarious because I've been asking my GP to refer me to one for months!! So pretty much I waited over an hour to be told something I could have told him!! To say I'm slightly annoyed doesn't even cover it. At least on the upside I got to wear my new Hello Kitty top.
To the outfit...
Let's all pray silence to the prettiest top ever!! *Silent appreciation* Yes it is Hello Kitty and yeah it's awesome. I got this top last week from Primark and it was an absolute surprise when I saw it. When I think of Hello Kitty I think of H&M and their character t-shirts (I had one from there years ago); but from Primark I couldn't believe it. I can't remember how much it was but who cares - it's Hello Kitty!! It's a thin material so it's great to wear in this muggy wear and perfect to wear layered up in winter. I got a size 18 as you know I like baggy clothes but looking at the fit I couldn't have had any smaller. Because of the gold detail on the top I decided to pile on gold and colourful jewellery, just to reinforce the fun element of this top. I decided to use my black and gold bag from Primark; not only have I not used it for a few months (naughty) but also I thought it would be another fun element to this outfit.
I am currently relaxing at home watching River Monsters - it is the most insane program on this planet!! There are literally massive and dangerous fish out there! The problem is it makes me crave fish fingers!!
Fingers crossed I can get a good nights sleep tonight!!
Yeah right...

I Could Be Your Buzz Lightyear Fly Across The Globe...

Top - River Island
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Skirt - Vero Moda
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Bag - Primark
Jewellery - Dorothy Perkins / Miss Selfridge & Topshop
I look pretty vacant here (well it was nearly 11pm).
Bonjour Madams and Monsieur’s!!
Just a quick post today!!
It's another sunny Tuesday afternoon and I am lying on the sofa feeling absolutely rubbish.
Now you're probably thinking it's because I went out last night and yes that’s some what true; but I only had two drinks last night. I've been feeling a bit rubbish for a couple of days now (women’s problems) so I'm just relaxing at home.
Anyway this was me last night (as I said) when I met up with a few friends for drinks.
It was a very relaxed evening, I even went in to a pub in town that I'd never been to before and never want to go to again (felt uncomfortable). So we ended up in Yates as you do and it was nice. The conversation was flowing there was laughing; it was a good night certainly took my mind off my crappy feeling. It was good because none of us were drunk we were all sober so we bounced off each other well; (not literally I'd like to add that would be weird - so normal for me).
To the outfit...
Now this isn't actually the original outfit I was going to wear (well not the original skirt). I had bought a dipped hem leopard print skirt from Primark when they had a mid-season sale, but unfortunately when I put it on yesterday the more I pulled up the zip the more it broke. It does actually fit me but as the zip is now broken I can't wear it, so in a blind panic I dropped my skirt and ran upstairs to chuck on my back up skirt - this one from Vero Moda. I bought this skirt with my House of Fraser Christmas gift card from my parents in December (I think); and I'm ashamed to say this is only the second time I've worn it (the first is here on my blog but as I am ashamed of it I'm not linking it). It's such a princess like skirt with the netting material and in this outfit, I felt like Carrie Bradshaw when she goes to Aleksandr Petrovsky's opening in the last episode of Sex and the City. Of course Sarah Jessica Parkers outfit (and hair) is more amazing than this; but I can imagine running across Paris in this skirt - a girl can dream. I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit very simple and casual, so just a plain white tank top and denim jacket gave it the perfect relaxed look. I did decide to give myself some height in my New Look (tiny) wedges. And seen as I don't have a Chanel 2.55 bag yet, I dug out this old Primark bag that I actually lost for a few years and then found again to complete the outfit.
I forgot how nice it is just to relax at home...shame it won't last!
Good things never do...well apart from doughnuts!!
Typical me...

Flash Back To A Girl, With A Song In Her Heart...

It's Sunday again!!
I literally don't know where the week goes...
I've just done another shift at work wearing the plain boring clothes again, so to spice up my day I think another playlist is in order.
In fact this might become a Sunday tradition!!
So here are a few songs that I've been obsessed with this week/sang along to at work!!
ENJOY!!!!

HONEY I'M HOME!!!
Yes I'm back from my mini getaway with Charlie!!
(Just in case you didn't know, you do now).
For the past two and a half days I've been in Cirencester in the picturesque Cotswolds. I've spent pretty much my whole life in Cirencester and after 19 and a half years it can get pretty boring; but when you see the beauty of the old buildings and the amazing church it perks you up. Charlie and I stayed in a nice little B&B called The Old Brewhouse, which was the perfect country setting for a weekend (or week) getaway. Personally I'm going to stick to hotels as the idea of staying in a B&B again freaks me out, it was nice for the amount of time but it felt weird staying in someone else’s house. We even ventured to the Corinium Museum which we haven't been to in years!! It's completely changed and modernised (not that I remember what it used to be like I was so young); but if you're interested in the Romans it'll be perfect for you. My favourite part of Cirencester is an antique shop which you could almost mistake for a museum. I'm always fascinated by everything I see there and pretty much want everything, I usually go hunting for cameos but they're always too expensive for me. I did pick up two old books about myths and legends which are my favourite stories to read, especially as these are children’s stories with beautiful illustrations and for only £2 each they're unbelievable collectables. I also did pick up some high street finds (other then two books from Waterstones). I actually spent my money in Dorothy Perkins I always love their sales especially with the jewellery. I did pick up this chain horse print vest that I've actually been after for months but I've been putting it off, so when I went in to Dot P's yesterday and saw it for £10 (even though it's £8 on the website) I new I had to have it. I picked up four pieces of jewellery - a silver cross ring, a gold cross on a long material chain, a turquoise cross necklace and a cream triangle necklace (I'm no good at describing things). I did also pick up the Warehouse shirt from House of Fraser that I have been after for ages!! But as it was £45 and that to me is too much so I didn't get it; but when it went in to the sale I hunted high and low for it but unfortunately no luck. By sheer chance Charlie and I popped in to House of Fraser yesterday, while looking through the sale I saw it there and to my surprise it was my size!! The best part of the whole finding adventure is that the shirt was reduced to £9.60!! Yes I did just say that and yes I'm just as shocked as you. The best find I've had in years!!
To the outfits...
Now as there are three outfits to cover I'm just going to pick an item out and talk a little about it. When it comes to Monday's outfit I wanted something with a wow factor. Now I've had this blazer for quite some time now but I haven't had the chance yet to wear it, it's just been hanging up collecting dust so I decided it was about time it got taken out. It's from Primark and I originally liked the green version, but after talking with my Mum we both decided that the black and white pattern would be more me. They did matching trousers and shorts but I thought the blazer on its own would be a statement enough. I think this will be perfect for college. Tuesday's outfit I've had in my mind for a while now but as usual I forget and choose something else. This t-shirt from Topshop and is a good few years old, in fact I actually remember making my Mum buy this for me. Now seen as see is a skull print you would think I’d wear this a lot - you would be wrong, I never wear this top and even though I do love it there's always something else to wear. I am now making it my mission to wear this more often. Today's outfit is all about comfort for the journey home. It took me weeks to figure out what to wear home so I just chucked this in my suitcase. As you can see I'm wearing my Alexy boots from Topshop which I absolutely love; but absolutely kill my feet at the moment. I don't think my idea to wear them in, in Cirencester where all you do is walk and not take flats worked. I do love these boots they're amazing but all I need to do is my a few alterations and they will be extra perfect. Also my ASOS backpack is a dream come true!! I have used it everyday since Sunday and I just love it best purchase of last week.
I'm so glad to be home and relaxing!!
I do have an early morning tomorrow as I have a check up at the docs and maybe pop to the cinema; but we'll see where the day takes me.
Which no doubt will be straight back to bed...

How natural do I look?
I love that whenever I go to Benefit I always come back looking as if I'm not wearing any make up.
So like I said on Friday it was Benefit time again. As always Mum and I popped in to House of Fraser and we were both beautified by Inge. Again I'm not going to go on and on about how much I love everything (cause we know that's true anyway); instead I'm going to talk about the products that  haven't used before and what I purchased.
There was a special reason for me popping in to get beautified on Friday as Benefit had released two new products. First is a miracle product that I am in awe of called Perk Up Artist, it's a complexion corrector that works on any skin tones and helps with all those problem areas. I now swear by this product after Inge used this on me. My dark circles were hidden, it's unlike anything I've ever seen before and without a doubt I thoroughly recommend it!! Mum did purchase it for us all to share which all I have to say is thank you Mum!! The other product is a new perfume to add to the Crescent Row range - See & Be Seen Sasha. It's a very fruity scent but I love it!! I'm usually a floral person and I don't really like strong fruit infusions; but I have to say the more I smelt this scent the more I liked it. It's definitely an all rounder scent for any occasion. For the past few times I've been to Benefit I've had quite a striking look, but this time it was nice to have a natural one. I did purchase two products (like I said yesterday) Some Kind - A Gorgeous - Lite and Speed Brow. I have had SomeKind - A Gorgeous before but I always used to use it under foundation (like a naughty girl); so this time I am determined to use it to it's full potential. Speed Brow is a product I've never used before and I didn't even know it existed. Listening to Inge explaining to me how to use Speed Brow, I knew immediately I needed this product. I seem to spend most of my time on my eyebrows so this is perfect. I know it's very rare that I go to Benefit and discover more products that are new to me; but lately this seems to keep happening and that's exactly what happened on Friday. Now there are quite a lot of products that I have never used, so I think rather then talk about all of them I'm going to single out one or two. Picture a perfect world where there was a single product that combined a highlighter and a bronzer - oh wait there is!! 10 is a bronzing and highlighting face powder duo aka heaven. As you know I am a huge fan of highlighting products and I use them everyday, so I'm really happy that there's a powder that does it for you. I definitely will be purchasing this product in the future perfect for lazy college mornings. I'm a huge fan of the BADgal mascaras as I use the black one everyday and the plum on occasion, so when I was introduced to the brown one I was intrigued. It has a different brush to the others and is a lot more slim lined; but it has the same amount of volume and effect as its counterparts. I love the brown because it makes my eyelashes look effortless and natural, it looks as if I'm not wearing any mascara at all and I'm a huge fan of that. Will I substitute black mascara for brown? You never know. I'm obsessed with lipsticks but I will admit that I always get lipstick on my teeth (guilty); so I've been wearing my Hoola Ultra Plush practically everyday but I'm missing some colour in my life. Bella Bamba Ultra Plush is a lipstick obsessive’s dream, a product that combines the coverage and colour of a lipstick but the smoothness and glossiness of a lip gloss; is pure heaven!! I was stuck between Bella Bamba Ultra Plush and Speed Brow but decided to go for Speed Brow; I will say that Bella Bamba will be appearing in my make up bag anytime soon - if I have my way.
I actually don't know when I'll be back to Benefit but knowing me it'll be soon...

*I've not been asked to write about Benefit's products nor am I being paid to do so. I'm simply just a fan of the brand and the products.

I'm being good this week!!
HELLO AGAIN!!!
Yes you officially can't get rid of me!!
This was me earlier today when I popped in to town with Mum!!
(A lot of exclamation points today.)
Now today there was a special reason for going in to town and yes you've guessed it - Benefit Day!!
No matter how many times I do it I always feel awkward walking around town with no make up on, I think as you grow up you get so used to wearing make up it feels weird when you don't. Mum and I spent most of the day in town today picking up a few bits of pieces. Which reminds me, I have to take the time to tell you how happy I am today as I have purchased the most amazing pair of boots I have ever seen!! I popped in to Topshop on Sunday to try on a pair of the Alexy Platform Chelsea Boots, which I've had my eye on. I tried the 41's on but unfortunately they were too small so I ordered the 42's in to the store; I honestly had no idea if they would fit but secretly I was hoping they would. I went in today to try them on and O M G the relief I felt when they fitted!! Now the right foot is bigger then the left even though they're fresh out the box; I think I just have weird feet. They were £75 but they're so worth it for these because they're amazing!! I did also pick up a signet ring and Hamsa necklace from Accessorize, a couple of bits from Benefit (coming tomorrow) and a pink octopus called Edith from Build - a - Bear. I nearly forgot to mention through the door this morning came my ASOS Quilted Backpack; now I wasn't going to jump on the backpack trend but when I saw this I jut thought - Chanel!! It's so big and perfect and I'm in love and it will be used this weekend/next week.
To the outfit...
Today I am wearing two new pieces (and by new I mean I've had for a while just never worn). This shirt I picked up a while ago in the River Island sale for £15 which I thought was a bargain!! When I go back to college in September I've decided that I kinda just want to live in shirts and chunky cardigans. This was an amazing find (thank you Mum - the best sale finder ever); it's a sleeveless, dipped hem with a beautiful spring print with flowers and (what look like) hummingbirds. My favourite part of this shirt is the print on the back in the centre and it's a cascade of birds, butterflies and flowers all the way down. The perfect way to perk up those winter days. Let's talk about the bag. This bag is one I ordered a few months back for college and it's been sitting in my wardrobe waiting to be used; so I decided today would be a good time to test drive it. It's from Next and its leather with a leopard horse hair print and was £45 but totally worth it!! Even though this was part of the Spring/Summer collection it's perfect for winter. It'll be a great accessory for college and big enough to put notebooks and folders in there, plus it's lovely and soft I can't stop stroking it!!
I'm looking forward to my nice relaxing day tomorrow before work on Sunday!!
I think a 24 hour sleep??
Yes, I think so...

Good Evening internet peeps!!
I'm completely shattered and can barely keep my eyes open (serves me right for having insomnia).
This was me and Charlie today after our day trip up to London town.
As you know I don't usually add anyone else on my blog; but I really liked Charlie's outfit today and thought it would be a good idea to put it on.
Today as I said we went on a trip up to London town where Charlie's main purpose was to go to the recording studio. It filled up 2 hours of the day but for the rest we occupied our time by shopping (mostly window); I did manage to go in to Monki and O M G I want everything and they're such good prices!! I did pick up two bits of jewellery from Forever 21 - a cross necklace and a cougar ring. While on our travels (and after picking up some Pret) we walked past Hearst Magazines UK headquarters!! I've never been more excited in my life; I was exactly the same when I walked past Vogue House for the first time. It was so unexpected finding it and I just wanted to stand there and stare at all the fashionable people walking in and out; I actually kept thinking that everyone I saw worked for Hearst!! We did pop in to the Disney Store where I did (proudly) run around like an absolute lunatic!! I did pick up a pack of pens which have different Disney Princesses on them - I'm such a big kid!! Also on the kid subject I bought some sweeties which I will tell you have all but one gone (greedy).
To the outfit...
What better combination then red and leopard print!!
I've had this outfit in my head since I picked up this shirt from H&M a while ago, but I haven't really gone anywhere to wear it. I thought today would be the perfect excuse to dig out the old leopard print. I don't know if anyone feels this way but every time I go to London I always feel I have to make an effort; it sounds a bit weird but I always need to look good and make sure I'm thoroughly accessorised. As usual I kept everything else very simple and neutral. I did add the studded bucket bag again and of course my signature sequinned beanie!! I'm just going to add I am wearing my new Buddha bracelet on my right wrist which I love, I'm so glad I didn't buy it full price and got it for £1.50!! Bargain!!
I'm not quite sure what Charlie's inspiration for her outfit is but one word springs to mind - comfy!!
I'm currently watching the London Olympics (again); but as it's the swimming and there are arrays of rippling pectorals - I'm not complaining!!
