This has been such an odd week (and
yes I know it's only Thursday).
I don't think I can handle anymore
odd days - my poor nerves.
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier when I popped up
my local high street to run a few errands. Not only did I have to send my HTC
back for the FOURTH time!! But I also picked up some doughnuts (typical me),
food and Glamour magazine. I love the September issues of magazines cause
they're a feast for the eyes; all these sparkly, velvet, feather, silk,
organza, amazing clothes that I will crave for that season. It's beautiful
torture!! I get excited at the beginning of every season working out what I'm
going to buy, cause as much as I would love to buy in to every trend my budget
nor does my wardrobe have room for that. It's all about selecting those basic
and classic pieces that will last every season - someone needs to help me with
that!! Serial shopper - I can't help it!
To the outfit...
I was originally not going to
photograph today’s outfit as I was just going to chuck on the usual fail safe,
(skater dress, leggings and boots). But I thought to myself no I'm going to
make the effort and get doled up. Firstly I would just like to point out I have
my hair up! Now usually I would never go out with my hair up, but it was in a
state and not even a beanie could make it look decent so I thought why not. My
hair is in a bun and clipped all my hair back and added a vintage scarf for an
added distraction. (I'm also wearing light make up just in case my usual translucent
glow deceives you.) I should actually start talking about the outfit. This top
is the one I picked up in Dorothy Perkins for £10 in Cirencester. I'd been
after it for a few months but as it was full price I decided not to buy it; but
now I'm glad I waited because I love it and for a tenner it's a bargain. It's
nice and baggy on me which I love and it has the exaggerated under arms, (you
know when it goes quite low on the side - you know I'm bad at describing). I
love the horse design as I am a complete horse nut but I also like the vintage
chain print element, it is in a combination of white, gold and pink but it
works really well especially with the white background. I seemed to be wearing
pink a lot again, I'm not gonna lie I'm slightly freaked out but I'm going to
try and embrace it.
It's slightly weird how this time
next year I would have done college, had my results and would know what Uni I'm
going to!! That is too much to take in!
Can it be summer forever??
Maybe...
B x
