It's Sunday!!
Yes another week has passed and what
a week it's been.
To begin with I had a quiet day in,
then Tuesday I was out running errands for my Mum, Wednesday I got back to
street styling and the inspirational Beyond Retro talk, Thursday and Friday at
home and then errands yesterday (I didn't take a photo - I apologise).
Another pretty big thing happened to
me this week...I went blonde!!
Yes BLONDE!!
It's quite light on the top and
ginger twinges on the main part; but it will be getting re-dyed in about a week
or twos time. Soon enough I will have the pastel hair that I'm dreaming of!!
I am so tired today so I apologise if
I start rambling.
I've just had my first day back at
work after three weeks and I'm now dead.
Of course not literally but I'm
pretty gone. Doesn't help that I'm not feeling a 100% so it's been a shock to
the system.
OMG I forgot to mention that my blog
turned 18 months this week!!
I feel like a bad mother for not
mentioning that again as I'm so proud.
(You see what the tiredness is doing
to me).
Being back at work felt odd and I did
feel lonely when Antonia went on break; but the customers kept me busy with
their moaning or on occasion their smiles.
Did I miss work?? HELL NO!!
Did I miss Antonia?? HELL YEAH!!
It's amazing how much you miss those
chats and company on a Sunday.
Anyway...
I'm rambling again!!
So as today is Sunday playlist time I
think I should think of a theme.
I'm thinking...I'm thinking...I'm
thinking...I'm thinking...GOT IT!!
I think it's about time we went
back to my roots, back when I was a wee bonny lass (if you can believe it). Now
there was once a wonderful time where people wore a lot of denim, graffiti
cubes in their hair, tie dye was big and everyone fell in love with Peter
Andre. Yes I'm talking about the 90's!! My spiritual musical time where you
sang along to 'Sex on the Beach' at the age of 10. Even though some rubbish
things happened in the 90's, something amazing happened and that was my birth
back in 92. Ever since that wonderful year I experienced many a kids’ party and
school discos full of cheesy tunes. Do I ever wish I could go back and relive
that era?? Why not!! I'll always be a 90's kid at heart and I know that will
never change!!
So here are a few songs that to me
are the epitome of my 90's school discos. Ok so I may not listen to these songs
still; but that doesn't mean I don't love them.
Sit back, relax and ENJOY!!
B x
