Things I Love - January!!

Tartan Shirt - Peacocks
Hey everyone!!
Hope you're all well!!
I'm at home today as I'm not feeling 100%, so I thought I would write a blog post .
Now today's post is going to be an old favourite of mine and that is the 'Things I Love' post. Just to refresh your memory, the 'Things I Love' posts consist of items that I have bought and absolutely love - obviously!
Let's get on with the show…
If you have been reading my blog for a while, you would know that I have become obsessed with tartan. I'm not to the point where every time I go in to a shop I buy everything with a check print on it, it's more - if I see tartan within my wardrobe, I fit it in to my outfit. I honestly don't own that much and yet I always find something sticking out from behind a wave of black clothing. Although I do love all my checkered pieces, this shirt in particular stands out the most. I bought this shirt FOREVER ago - well maybe not forever ago; but more like 4 or 5 years ago (whenever Charlie went to university - I feel like I should probably know this). I actually bought two of these with the intention of wearing one to bed and the other as a shirt. Yeaaaah that plan didn't exactly work and both became my bed shirts. The funny thing is, they are both from the nightwear section of Peacocks in Cheltenham (which is no longer there - sad times). I rediscovered this shirt when I found it at the bottom of my laundry bag (gross I know), so I decided to wash it and began to wear it for bed again. With my 6am commutes, I can't be bothered to make an effort so I would just chuck this shirt over the top. The obsession grew from there, to the point where I would literally be wearing this shirt 24/7 (well apart from work). This is just a great piece to throw on other any outfit to show a bit of colour. As you know I dress in black all the time (again, apart from when I'm at work); so this is a great distraction to the noir.
I love tartan because it's so versatile and it comes in so many colours, you can honestly wear it with everything.
I definitely recommend picking up tartan from the nightwear section, because not only are they cheaper but usually they're made from softer fabrics. I'm obsessed with this shirt at the moment and I don't care who knows it!
The only thing left to say is - where is the other one??
