But I Still Wake Up, I Still See Your Ghost...

Hat - New Look
Top - H&M
Skirt - Vero Moda
Tights & Socks - Primark
Boots - Topshop
Jewellery - Topshop / New Look & Miss Selfridge
Oh my god I have a cold!!
I was perfectly fine and healthy this morning; but as the day has gone on the sneezing has become more frequent to the point where it's running and I can't catch it!!
I actually can't remember the last time I had a cold which is good, but now I feel like its back for vengeance.
Doesn't help that I'm half dead and my lazy eye is slowly closing - I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards.
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after college.
I've now finished my second week at college and all I can remember from it is how tired I am. Doesn't help that I have the '3 week tests' next week and I feel like I haven't learnt anything - you can see my dilemma! I also have to read chapter 2 of 'Enduring Love' which I really don't like. If any of you haven't seen the film DON'T, it is the most weirdest film ever and apparently the book is completely different; but I can't help but compare it to the film (even if I am on chapter 2). But don't worry, college hasn't been just work, work, work in fact I've been socialising. I've even clicked with a girl in my class called Leah; it's so nice to meet someone who loves vintage as much as I do. I'm still working on other connections/friendships so you never know what will happen. I've also noticed that I've been dressing really girly lately (even in the two outfits I haven't shown here); maybe it's something to do with the rain brings out the inner girly girl in me. Which reminds me - OMG the rain on Tuesday was horrendous!! And it didn't help that I decided to wear pumps which turned from shoes to puddles. Wasn't fun!!
To the outfit...
I am channelling my inner Parisian in honour of Paris Fashion Week!!
Would I rather be in Paris - YES!!
I had this outfit in my head for a while in various variations, but all included this skirt and my lovely Alexy boots. I think with this Vero Moda skirt you have the option of dressing it up or dressing it down, a month ago I wore it in a casual/dressy way for drinks (here). I love how fairytale esque this skirt is with the netting, the slight puffiness and of course the length which makes it very ladylike. I think this is perfect teamed up with my old H&M top which let's face it I wear quite a lot, (I even used to wear it to bed months ago). Not only are the longer sleeves perfect for this weather, but the combination of the grey background with black stripes gives it the classic Breton style. I always imagined this outfit with these boots to really have the feminine element, plus it's a great excuse to keep practising in these (and its working).
I feel like death warmed up!!
I want to crawl in to the corner and be left alone by the world (I didn't want to say die).
Hopefully I'll feel better in the morning.
Fingers crossed...

And Some Nights, I'm Scared You'll Forget Me Again...

Hat - New Look
Dress (belt) - Primark
Shirt (undeneath) - H&M
Tights - Primark
Shoes - Primark
Bag - Next
Jewellery - Topshop / Vintage & H&M
It's just another manic Monday and wasn't it manic!!
I was on the bus for about 35 minutes which may not seem a lot; but my bus journey on takes 15 - 20 minutes. I then ran up six flights of stairs and straight to my classroom thinking I was going to be late, charged through the door and turns out my teacher wasn't even there!
Not a good start to the day.
I think the weather didn't help my miserable feeling on this miserable day!
Anyway...
Hello! Nice to see you again!!
Just a quick post today!!
Don't I look every inch the student!!
(As I had law this morning I wanted to look the part).
This was me earlier today after I had got back from College/meeting Jaime.
I had no idea what to wear today as it has been doing nothing but chucking it down with rain all day. What didn't help was on my lunch break (well what was left of it I ended up talking to my law teacher for 25 minutes - long story); I went out for an apricot croissant and ended up stepping in all the puddles. Let's just say I wasn't happy and neither were my feet. Oh and my umbrella decided to break so I now have to use my massive ones; but then they are pweedy so I don't mind. After college I met up with Jaime who I hadn't seen in three months (I think). It was good to do a bit of shopping (I only bought food); but overall it was good to catch up as Jaime is now at Uni and of course I'm at college. I did pick up doughnuts which were delicious thank you for asking.
To the outfit...
As I said earlier I had no idea what to wear today.
What seems to happen is as soon as one raindrop falls from the sky, any clue I had to what I was going to wear that day disappears. Whenever it rains I go in to fashion - panic - overload and I can never figure out what to wear. I decided to go ahead and wear the outfit I originally planned to wear today, regardless of what the weather is like. This skater dress is from Primark and is a nice addition to my collection. I already have my Topshop one but I think it's nice to have a variety. This one is a thicker material and has a horizontal stripe detail effect (I don't know the correct term); plus it comes with this cute little bow belt which is an absolute bugger!! As it kept coming undone. I teamed it up with my leopard shirt for a law student inspired ensemble. I'm not as daring as Elle Woods to be head to toe in pink, so leopard print is more my comfort zone plus I got to chuck on black and gold jewellery.
I'm now half dead and I'm hoping to get a few hours kip!!
I have no idea what to wear tomorrow so I might take inspiration from past outfits.
I need inspiration!!
Shall I pop over to Milan??
Yes I think so...

Why Don't We Break The Rules Already?

Monthly Want - September

Lazy Oaf Skull Skater Dress - £65

O M G!!!
How amazing is this dress!!
I actually dream of this dress its so pweedy!!
If I could choose one piece to invest in, it would probably have to be this dress.
Not only is this dress a skater dress with an empire line; but it also has skulls on and it's black and white. I don't think I've ever found a dress that has ticked so many boxes. It is £65 which is a little pricey but this dress is worth it. Unfortunately they've sold out of my size, but I noticed they do a skull shirt - definitely keeping my eye on that.
I now feel like my dress collection is dull and boring compared to this dress!!
Maybe the shirt might be able to fill that hole...
Pay day next week!!
Woop!!

It's A World Wide Symphony...

Happy Saturday!!!
It's that time of the week again for my weekly playlist!!
Now I know I usually do these on a Sunday, but as tomorrow is the 23rd (which means Monthly Want time); I'm bringing the playlist to you one day earlier.
This week’s music is going to be a mix of new music that’s growing on me, ones I've rediscovered and ones that have been on repeat.
I will warn it's very female dominated this week - well apart from Louis Armstrong (love him).
ENJOY!!

Don't Ask Me, I'll Never Tell...

Top - River Island
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Skirt - Primark
Tights - Primark
Cardigan - Primark
Boots - Shoe Zone

Jewellery - Miss Selfridge / Topshop & New Look
Hello Everyone!!
TGIF!!!
I can't believe its Friday already!!!
Is it just me or do the weeks seem to go faster as time goes on?
As I said yesterday I have no college today, so it feels good sleeping in till 1pm and then relax on the sofa listening to the Guys and Dolls soundtrack!!
(Marlon Brando is singing to me!!!!)
I have another lie in tomorrow (yayayay); but I'm back to the old routine come Sunday morning.
Anyway...
This was me yesterday after my first week at college.
I talked a lot about college yesterday, so I'm not going to recap all that cause it would just bore both you and me. In fact I don't know what to talk about...for once I'm speechless!! Ooooo I think I'm going to talk about University, now anyone who doesn't want to read this then your welcome to scroll down to about the outfit; but if you do thank you. Now in one of my posts I did about starting college, I mentioned I was 70% sure I wanted to go to University - now I'm 80%. You guys already know me and education are not a match made in heaven, but yet I seem to always go back to it (like the mistress I can't get rid of). So the fact that the percentage has gone up by 10% is a bit of a shock, let me explain. It all started on Tuesday when my tutor had read my first paragraph of my personal statement and gave me feedback, it was all positive I just had to change a few things but apart from that it was good. That came as a shock as only a few days before I had told her I wasn't sure about Uni or the course. The percentage began to grow after talking to a few of my classmates about being stuck here. And that’s when I thought the only way I'm gonna get away from home is University, (well the only way my parents won't be against...oh wait I forgot about my Dad). I've still have two months to figure it out but even then I'm going to apply anyway. It’s just going to be scary when I hand my UCAS in and it's all in their hands. Wow that is actually scary!! I have two more Universities to look at one next week and one in October, and then I'll decide which one I want to put as my first choice.
SCARY!!!
To the outfit...
I literally chucked this on in the morning with 5 minutes to spare and I think it looks good.
I first saw this skirt on LLYMRS and I really wanted to get it, as I missed out first time round with the black one. I was a little bit worried about this skirt as Lily styled an amazing outfit with it (here); but she did say it was quite hard to style. I bought it a few weeks ago but I honestly thought I would take it back; I kept trying it on at home and writing a list of tops that would match. Even up to yesterday I was still a bit sceptical up until the point where I grabbed it, ripped off the tags and chucked it on. Yeah I think I'm going to keep it!! But O M G isn't it short!! When I sat down you could see the shorts I was wearing underneath, (well a pair of leggings I cut up) I kept making sure the pleats covered it. What didn't help as well is the weather - yes it was windy and I had to literally hold my skirt down. Yeah not fun!! I kept the rest of the outfit very simple with the white tank top and my old faithful (and falling apart) boots, I added my camouflage cardigan as well just for that little bit extra.
This is my second attempt of finishing this blog (yes I stopped for a few hours).
I am still on the sofa except now I'm watching Man vs Food!!
It feels good to tap in to my inner teenager and do absolutely nothing!!
Never lasts...

YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
I have no more college for the week!!!
Unfortunately I do have work on Sunday...
BOO!!!
And then Monday morning I have a 9:30am start...
DOUBLE BOO!!!!
There really is no light at the end of the tunnel...
Anyway...
HELLO!!!
Welcome back!!
I am completely knackered and I'm running on overdrive while writing this.
Just a quick post today!!
This was me on Tuesday after I went to college.
Now I've just finished my first week at college and I'm much relived. Not only because I actually find the course to be quite stimulating (I'm going to carry on with it); but everyone in my class are nice and friendly. We've started our units in all my main subjects English, Media and English Legal System. What’s quite funny is that in English we're reading a book called 'Enduring Love by Ian McEwan', which I've actually seen the film to a couple of months ago and it was weird. Apparently the book is better and more in depth but I have my doubts about it; perhaps by the end of this year I would have fallen in love with it - unfortunately I doubt that!! What was interesting was in English Legal System on Monday we watched a programme on Barristers. I wanted to be a lawyer for 9 years so I found the filming very exciting, but after watching the episode I am so glad I'm not pursuing a career in law. There are so many rules and regulations not to mention tests and then the 4 inns; it's just all too confusing for me. I don't think law is the right path for me.
Anyway I'm going to stop talking about college and academic things as I'm officially off the clock!!
To the outfit...
I must admit I'm getting more girly in my old age.
I remember when my Mum bought this dress for me ages ago and I liked it, but I thought I would never wear it. After I got my lovely Alexy boots an outfit started to form in my head and this outfit is from the fruit of my imagination. I love the aubergine base colour of this dress with the polka dots and Peter Pan collar, makes this dress a perfect 40's inspired tea dress. It's really flattering as well with the length of the hem and the sleeves, also the band across the waist. I reckon I will be wearing this more in the future. I think this dress looks perfect with my Chelsea boots and a chunky cardigan. I accessorised with a pair of black tights and knee high socks ruched around the top of the boots.
I'm currently watching Downton Abbey!!
I love Hugh Bonneville!!
I don't like watching romantic programmes or films, but for some reason I find Downton so romantic and sweet. Maybe I'm a softie at heart.
Yeah right...

Jacket - Primark

I'm dead!!
Ok so not literally but I haven't slept properly in days so I am completely out of it.
I don't think I can do a 6 hour shift at work and then have 5 hours sleep, AND THEN wake up at 7am the next morning!!!
Of course I'm going to keep doing this routine; but hopefully I’ll have a few more hours of sleep.
Who am I kidding I never sleep!!!
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me yesterday on my first full day of college!!
You should have heard me on Sunday night thinking college was the worst idea, not worth my time and probably something else I would regret. At the moment I'm on the fence. The only thing I've enjoyed so far was leaving early yesterday and correcting my teacher today. It would seem spending a year and a half watching TV and reading books has made me smarter - who'd a thunk?? But so far there's nothing I don't like...well apart from the long lessons (I have 3 hours of media tomorrow); the odd breaks and gaps. Well you know me I'm always nit picking!! I've even finished the first paragraph of my personal statement which is insane!! If you had told me a year and a half ago that I would be doing my personal statement now, I would have laughed at you and told you, you were crazy - probably still would!! HA HA I made a funny...
I'll tell you the hardest thing about college is figuring out what to wear...it's so difficult!!
To the outfit...
Like I said I have no idea what to wear!!
With the weather being cold, warm, muggy, rainy etc I have no idea what I should or shouldn't wear. Another thing is that I feel huge at the moment I seemed to have ballooned (I'm going to be honest with you guys); so for this week I wanted to wear dresses and do something different. I wrote down some dresses I wouldn't mind wearing that I think would have adapted to any weather, naturally I had to have my black maxi dress on the list. I've had this outfit in my head for a while now but it's been too warm to wear it, so when yesterday came and how cold the mornings are I thought perfect. I usually do wear all black (especially for work); so I wanted to add a bit of colour with the blue jumper and I chucked on as much jewellery as I could. I even decided to chuck on more then one ring on my right hand - I'm a wild one!! It feels like I wear more silver jewellery during the week then I do on the weekends. I think I need to stop trying to incorporate 'Sam Sparro - Black and Gold' in to my outfits. Yeah like that’s going to happen!!
I am so tired (just in case you didn't know by now).
I have a full day of college tomorrow and then I have a recruitment event as well in the afternoon, I'm looking forward to it but I have a feeling I'm not going to get it because of college.
Oh and don't worry I'm still sticking with Debenhams, this is just a little bit extra on the side.
Well I better do something other then stare at my screen...

I Wanna Sing It Out To Everybody...

Happy Sunday!!
Yes it's that time again when I do my Sunday playlist!!
Now I've been listening to some new music this week, as I've discovered Carrie Underwood's album Blown Away. I've always been fond of country music and I wish I listened to it more.
Maybe that can be my New Year's resolution (in September).
I do highly recommend all the songs I put on my playlists as not only are they good; but you'll be singing along to them whether it's a fast song or a ballad.
ENJOY!!!

Sometimes Life Leads You Down A Different Road...

Now that autumn has arrived (yayay autumn baby here); I thought we would all need a bit of inspiration when it comes to keeping warm.
Whether it's a chunky knit, biker jacket, graphic jumper or a nod to the military trend, I'm sure you'll find an outfit to ignite your fashion senses.

Schoolbag In Hand, She Leaves Home In The Early Morning...

Dress - Primark
Leggings - Topshop
Jacket - Primark
Shoes - Shoe Zone
Bag - Next
Belt - New Look
Jewellery - Topshop / Miss Selfridge / River Island & Dorothy Perkins
I literally started this post about an hour and a half ago; but I got distracted by reading blogs and watching videos.
I'm really bad when it comes to my short attention span!!
I never used to be but now I just chop and change the channel, constantly look on different websites all the time etc, considering I'm going to be an adult in 1 month and 9 days (AHHH) I act like a fully fledged teenager!!
Anyway (you see distraction again)...
Happy Wednesday!!
How is everyone?? Good?? Yes!! That's what I like to hear!!
So welcome back everyone its good to see you!!
I've been doing really good by updating (even if it is just my Sunday playlists); so here's hoping it'll continue.
So this was me yesterday when I went for my induction at college!!
Now I admit yesterday morning I was freaking out and I kept forgetting everything (I had to go back for my phone); not to mention that I was distracted at the bus stop so when the bus arrived it scared the living crap out of me. I got to college with ten minutes to spare and sat in the lecture theatre surrounded by science students, (there's only 14 on my course) so as you can imagine I sat there in silence. The day started off boring with a talk about the course and higher education etc; but the worse part was when we were in our form room and the teacher kept chucking things at me (word wise). I should explain - the course I'm doing is Access to Humanities and Social Science at least that's what I thought I was doing, turns out it's now Humanities and Law not that I mind really. What got me was that the course which is meant to be Humanities (history, geography, RE etc); is actually English, Media, English Legal System, Maths, It and Study Skills...at what point do you think someone looked at that and said 'That's Humanities' - they've clearly lost the plot! I spoke to the tutor about my concerns which we're going to air out on Friday in a one to one, so I'll let you know how that goes. I did have a nice long lunch in Caffé Nero because I decided not to do this odd quiz thing, I did have my favourite apricot croissant and seen as I'm back tomorrow I might treat myself again!! I do want to go to college and go to University (I'm 70% sure I want to); so the idea that I could be turning away from that opportunity really sucks. But like I said I'll keep you informed on how things go and all that jazz.
If I do go on about my life too much please feel free to tell me to shut up.
To the outfit...
Figuring out what to wear yesterday actually kept me up all of Tuesday night. It's like who actually knows what the correct outfit to wear for the first day of college/school/work actually is?? If you do then I apologise for my last statement. I had absolutely no idea as in the past I have regretted my first day outfits (September 2010 makes me cringe); so I wanted to take what I learnt from that and turn it in to a good outfit. I decided not to Dr Marten (if any of you saw my tweet); as I wanted to be able to walk properly but also I decided to dig out my beyond the dead, old faithful boots. I chucked on my fail safe Primark skater dress which I've had for absolute years, it's always the one item I go back to if I can't find anything to wear. I kept all my accessories simple and neutral and kind of let me leopard tote bag stand out, (I can't stop stroking it). Overall I was comfy and kept warm-ish.
I've finally finished my blog post YAYAYAYAY!!!!
It's only taken 2 and a half hours (yes I'm terrible).
I promise not to get distracted anymore!!
Well at least try not to...

Hat - Forever 21
Top - New Look
Vest Top (underneath) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - Dr Martens
Bag - H&M
Jewellery - Miss Selfridge & Topshop
It's Monday again!!!
Weeks just seem to fly by at the moment (slow down please).
I feel like I look odd in this photo...
I don't know if it's the big boots or the extensions, maybe even both but I feel a little odd.
You see what happens when I don't make an effort!!
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today when I popped in to town to pick up my new glasses!!
I was on a strict budget today as I have seemed to have spent my earnings. But on the agenda was to pick up my glasses, pick up some clips (to help with my extensions) and to pick up the American ELLE September Issue. I know I'm a month too late but it was quite hard to get a hold of it; but for a whole month I kept looking as not only is the September issue the best one but I love Katy Perry!! So like I said above I picked up new glasses today and O M G are they magnified! I put them on and I think I spent most of my time adjusting my eyes rather then seeing how they look on me; (they look awesome btw). I now have my fancy new specs but we'll see if I wear these ones. I managed to pick up some long clips/slide things (you know what they use in salons). I chose the silver ones as I wanted them to be more visible in my mess of hair. They were £2.59 which I thought was quite good (I know you only get three); I was expecting to pay double that. I think I was literally in town for half an hour and yet it took me triple that to get ready, (I'm not even wearing my proper make up). Probably should work on my timing.
To the outfit...
Like I said earlier this is what happens when I don't make an effort. I honestly had no idea on what to wear today; I knew I wanted to try out my brand spanking new Dr Martens but what to wear with them??
Now about my lovely new Dr Martens - how the hell do you walk in them??
I literally felt as if my walk belonged to The Ministry of Silly Walks it was actually quite funny; but it did feel really odd and weird walking in boots again after such a long break. I did wear slipper socks with them; but even then my feet didn't understand what was going on (yes my feet have a mind of their own - it's normal). Anyway I do love them and they will need a lot of breaking in but they will last me a lifetime, (who knows maybe longer). I dug out the camouflage cardigan again today as I am completely in love with it!! I still can't believe it was only £14 in Primark absolute bargain!!
It's a big day tomorrow as I start college after a year and a half break. I'm neither scared, nervous, sad or anything really I'm just neutral - we'll see whether it lasts or not.
I'm currently relaxing on the sofa watching Goldeneye (family over ruled me - meanies).
Oh well I'll steal the remote later...

Evening
Dress - Primark

Shoes - New Look

I think Friday's should now be known as Girly Friday's!!
I'm literally wearing too much colour at the moment!!
It seems by wearing black to work, I'm now making up for the lack of colour during the week.
I'm now worried...
Ooooo I almost forgot look at my extensions!!
They look a bit dodgy as it was my first time putting them in (I kinda went a bit wrong); but I'm going to try and make them work - plus they cost an arm and leg so I'm making them work!!
Anyway...
This was me yesterday when it was quite a busy day for me.
My day began with a push and a shove (as I'm very reluctant to wake up at the moment); I popped in to town in the morning/afternoon to firstly try on dresses. Now when you work in a shop you're surrounded by pretty sparkly dresses (whether you'd wear them or not); if you're like me then shiny objects distract you and I knew I wanted to try them on. So I popped to see Carolanne who works on Quiz and we picked 9 dresses (as that is the maximum); to try on. It was certainly interesting to see how these dresses (which I wouldn't normally go for), either completely didn't suit me (knew it) or actually looked alright. These dresses are for my birthday in October so I do have a month and a half, but I like to keep my options open as it's good to try things that you wouldn't necessarily go for. My favourite dress that I tried on was actually the dress I fell in love with when I first saw it, the only problem is its nude and I don't think that suits me - but they also do it in navy so we'll see. My next stop was Benefit!! You can't really see my beautiful smoky plum eyes in these photos, but I assure you they look very pretty. Now I won't go in to too much as I'll be doing a make up post soon; but what I will say is I did pick up a couple of things (as you do) and I was very happy with the end result. I was only meant to have an everyday look but because of my family meal last night, I wanted something a little bit more dramatic and something I wouldn't usually do. After Benefit (and via the Disney Store) I headed to Vision Express to get my eyes tested. Yes I have to have glasses!! Well I don't actually have to as I have perfect vision, but because I found it clearer reading with the glasses on the optician thought they might help. I picked up a pair of tortoise-shell Diesel ones (yes my third pair now); I really like them and I do like to have big frames to hide my dark circles!! I did initially want a pair of Alexander McQueen glasses but at £195 I decided not to. My last stop of the day (well afternoon) was the hair/beauty shop to pick up my extensions. I still can't believe I have real extensions (well clip in ones); I've always wanted ones that matched my hair colour but my hair has a habit of being 3 different colours. It was quite odd having long hair and I kept playing with it, I also had to remember that with long hair I can't do certain things. The back of my neck kept getting hot and I nearly (on several occasions); got my hair in my food - I didn't realise how difficult it is having long hair!! Thank god they're only clip ins. My day ended in Oscars my favourite restaurant in the world!! If you've read my blog you probably already know that we go quite often, (in fact I'm hoping to go for my birthday). I just love the buffet spread they put on and because I'm quite fussy when I eat, there isn't always something I can eat but I still manage to eat two starters, two mains and two deserts. Yes you do have to wheel me out!!
To the outfit...
Day - I've had this vintage dress for a few years now (I picked it up in Camden); but I just haven't had the chance to wear it. Because of the sheerness of the dress, I've been trying to find a slip to go underneath and that alone took me a year to find. It does sound dramatic but you'd be surprised how many places actually don't do them. I ended up picking mine up in Marks and Spencer as a pack of two, (I did cut the bows off the front as I didn't like it). You always find it where you least expect it!! I did chuck on my favourite sandals from Next. I've had these for a few years now and I love them! You haven't seen these before as last year I actually lost them in my room (I know too much clothes); but by a sheer flook I stumbled upon them a few months ago and knew they had to be worn with this dress.
Evening - I picked this dress up from Primark two years ago, when they had reduced most of the dresses to a fiver. I did go completely mental and buy about five or six; but I've only worn one of them which is this one I'm wearing here. That event definitely taught me not to buy just because it's the right price, because it might not be the right item for you. I wasn't originally going to wear it last night but for some reason I wanted to dress like a Princess. I decided to put it with a simple cardigan and my little wedges, (I'm wearing no tights as it was boiling yesterday).
This is a very long post!!
I seem to sit down to start writing these not knowing what to say and by the end of it, I've seem to have written an essay!! I surprise myself every time.
I'm currently resting on the sofa as in the middle of the night I've done something to my leg, so now it hurts when I bend it or even attempt to walk. Typical how this happens the day before I have work!!
I seem to use that phrase too much - typical me...

GOOD AFTERNOON VIETNAM!!!
Or anywhere else around the world!!!
For some reason that popped in to my head, so I felt it was necessary to include it here.
Hello everyone!!
Are we all well?? Good!
Hasn't it suddenly got hot lately??
I was constantly taking my cardigan on and off yesterday and what was worse, was that my feet overheated in my shoes and I had a massive bubble blister - not nice.
Anyway...
This was me yesterday when I became an intern for the day (and yes I did say day - I will explain later).
Or I'll explain now.
So yesterday I became an intern for an amazingly talented designer, and it was such an honour and a privilege to be picked for an internship with them. I spent most of the day yesterday running errands and having a tour of East London (I'm more used to the West End). I was completely in awe when I had to pop to PR firms or model agencies to drop clothes off and yet I got bored! Ok maybe bored isn't the right word to use but it summed up how I felt, I was given an opportunity to be an intern something I have been wanting to do for 2 years; I get the opportunity and my heart just wasn't in it. I think doing this one day of interning made me realise that designing/working for a designer, isn't something I would want to do. I'm extremely grateful for the one day but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. Now there are probably some of you out there who is reading this and thinking WHAT?!?!?!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING?? But on Tuesday I thought working for a designer would be something for me and by last night I knew I was wrong. I definitely think I know what I want to do now; but we'll see whether I'm right or wrong.
To the outfit...
IT'S JOHNNY DEPP!!!!!!!
Yes I have Johnny Depp's face on my chest I always knew this day would come; but this wasn't what I had in mind. I've had my eye on this tank top for about a month now! I'm constantly going on to the Topshop website and looking at their brands, I always seem to fall in love with a graphic t-shirt or two. In the Tee & Cake section I noticed this top. Now I didn't initially twig it was Johnny Depp, (I know I'm completely blind) but when I read the reviews the dots connected. The first time I saw this top my size was sold out (BOO) but I decided to keep an eye out just in case, so when Charlie and I went to the Topshop event and I saw it there I knew I had to have it!! Plus with an extra 20% off who was I to deny mine and Johnny's destiny. This is the camouflage cardigan I was talking about on Tuesday. I know it's not the real deal Topshop one but I have to admit Primark did good!! And for £14 you can't complain. It kept me warm when I was cold and I sweltered when it was boiling, so I think that's a good sign. It's literally going to be perfect for winter and a huge hit for Primark; (in fact someone on the bus was wearing it and I didn't even realise).
I'm having a relaxing day at home as I have a majorly busy day tomorrow that includes - trying on dresses, getting my make up done at Benefit, getting my eyes tested, picking up some extensions and a family meal.
You can tell that come Saturday I'm not going to be moving from the sofa!!
Crazy week...

O M G!!!
I'm having such an odd few weeks it's a little bit insane.
I don't even think it's processing in my mind I'm a little all over the place.
I've just got another interning gig which starts tomorrow and pretty much goes on for 2 weeks!! I'm so excited but completely overwhelmed although it hasn't sunk in yet; but no doubt at 6am tomorrow morning when I wake up it would have definitely set in.
This month is going to be hectic (btw my magazine work experience is now in November).
Anyway...
This was me yesterday when I popped in to town, to pick up a birthday present for my Dad and an anniversary present for my parents. Now you know me so whenever I'm in town I have a tendency to pick up a few things for myself. I popped in to Primark because I haven't actually had a good look in there for quite a long time, I knew what I wanted to look at in Primark and that was their new pleather pleated skirt. Now many of you will either know of this skirt or own it, now unfortunately first time round I wasn't able to get it but I'm sure most people did. Now when I was looking through a couple of blogs, I noticed a post on LLYMRS with Lily wearing the metallic version. I knew this skirt would be quite hard to style but probably even harder to find, so yesterday when I was in Primark I practically ran straight to the skirts and I found it. Unfortunately they didn't have my size but seen as I'm ballooning I thought why not try the next size up, so I did and surprisingly it fitted - now I'm still unsure about it so I'll probably team it up with a few things to see how it looks. Another Primark piece I picked up is also something I saw on LLYMRS (I just love this blog). Back in July I saw Lily wearing the Camouflage Cardigan from Topshop and immediately I fell in love, unfortunately £46 is a little out of my price range (and by a little I mean completely). So yesterday when I was walking towards the escalators in Primark, I looked over and saw a Camouflage cardigan and I ran to it. Now usually in cardigans or general knitwear I always buy the next size up (so usually a size 18); but they only had a few but luckily there was a size 16 so I grabbed (I don't even remember looking at the price). It was £14 and a complete bargain!! I'm definitely wearing it tomorrow to keep me warm in the cold morning. I also picked up a fleecy blue hoody from Cedar Woods (the men's section in Primark); I did look downstairs but for us girls they only had a weird purple colour one and that’s too girly for me. From Topshop I picked up the Charm Necklace (here’s the bracelet to go with it), I've been after for a few months now. Originally it was going to go on my birthday list, but as payday got nearer and nearer I decided to throw caution to the wind and get it anyway (plus 10% off helps). I managed to get an array of presents for both my Dad's birthday (which is today HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!!!!) and for my parent’s anniversary. I rounded off the day sharing chips with my Nan.J chatting about work and stuff. It was really nice. (Oh I did get stationary very boring but I love it!)
To the outfit...
Hello my name is Becky and I'm an outfit repeater!!
Yes you might have noticed this outfit back in July (here); when we had that really hot weather spell (which keeps happening at the moment). I love this outfit and I think it can be accessorised in many different ways, so you never know it might turn up again!! I did want to do something different yesterday, so instead of using my usual Straw Bag or my lovely Rocco I decided to be a bit more sophisticated and use my Marc B Chelsea bag. Now I got this bag years ago from House of Fraser, I remember at the time I was craving a Chelsea bag to feed my Chanel addiction. It was £17.50 in the sale and I bullied my Mum until she bought it for me and I must confess I have used it a lot. Now I'm not usually a fan of patent but I like it on this bag as it adds that little something extra. I've been craving another Chelsea bag in Camel its so pweedy!! Maybe it might magically appear on here one day - I'll keep you posted.
I can't believe I'm gonna wake up at 6am tomorrow!!
I can't believe tomorrow I become an intern on/off for 2 weeks!!
This is literally insane and I feel like I'm about to wake up from a dream, so there’s only one thing I can say... LET ME SLEEP!!!!!!!!! (which no doubt I'll be saying tomorrow morning).
