YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
I have no more college for the
week!!!
Unfortunately I do have work on
Sunday...
BOO!!!
And then Monday morning I have a
9:30am start...
DOUBLE BOO!!!!
There really is no light at the end
of the tunnel...
Anyway...
HELLO!!!
Welcome back!!
I am completely knackered and I'm
running on overdrive while writing this.
Just a quick post today!!
This was me on Tuesday after I went
to college.
Now I've just finished my first week
at college and I'm much relived. Not only because I actually find the course to
be quite stimulating (I'm going to carry on with it); but everyone in my class
are nice and friendly. We've started our units in all my main subjects English,
Media and English Legal System. What’s quite funny is that in English we're
reading a book called 'Enduring Love by Ian McEwan', which I've actually seen the
film to a couple of months ago and it was weird. Apparently the book is better
and more in depth but I have my doubts about it; perhaps by the end of this
year I would have fallen in love with it - unfortunately I doubt that!! What
was interesting was in English Legal System on Monday we watched a programme on
Barristers. I wanted to be a lawyer for 9 years so I found the filming very
exciting, but after watching the episode I am so glad I'm not pursuing a career
in law. There are so many rules and regulations not to mention tests and then
the 4 inns; it's just all too confusing for me. I don't think law is the right
path for me.
Anyway I'm going to stop talking
about college and academic things as I'm officially off the clock!!
To the outfit...
I must admit I'm getting more girly
in my old age.
I remember when my Mum bought
this dress for me ages ago and I liked it, but I thought I would never wear it.
After I got my lovely Alexy boots an outfit started to form in my head and this
outfit is from the fruit of my imagination. I love the aubergine base colour of
this dress with the polka dots and Peter Pan collar, makes this dress a perfect
40's inspired tea dress. It's really flattering as well with the length of the
hem and the sleeves, also the band across the waist. I reckon I will be wearing
this more in the future. I think this dress looks perfect with my Chelsea boots and a
chunky cardigan. I accessorised with a pair of black tights and knee high socks
ruched around the top of the boots.
I'm currently watching Downton Abbey!!
I love Hugh Bonneville!!
I don't like watching romantic
programmes or films, but for some reason I find Downton so romantic
and sweet. Maybe I'm a softie at heart.
Yeah right...
B x
