I can't believe it's the 9th month
already!!
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today when
I popped out to test drive a car with the family. Now as you know I never go
out on a Saturday (tradition); so when Charlie suggested I'd go with her to test
drive a Citroen
C1 - I declined. Unfortunately due to the length of my legs it was necessary
for me to go and test the leg room. I begrudgingly got out of bed and made sure
that my sunglasses stayed on at all times; (yes even inside the showroom I kept
them on and just peered over them). I have to admit that when I was in the car
with Charlie, Mum and the Citroen bloke (not his actual name); I started giggling
badly and I may have been a little too honest - but hey that's what Charlie
wanted who I am to deny her. It's a nice little car I can't fault it and
Charlie is a good driver, it helped me realise that not only Charlie needs a
car STAT but I definitely want to go back to driving.
To the outfit...
Now as I had about 15 minutes to get
ready, I ended up borrowing Charlie's knitted Louche @ Joy top (which you can
see her wearing here). I love this top I actually wore it on Monday for work
(hangers kept getting caught - unfortunately); it's one of those nice baggy items
that you can just chuck on. Plus it's a size 12 which makes me a very happy
girl!! I'm all for staple pieces that go with anything and this is one of them,
it's just a shame that I don't own it. Oh well at least I can borrow it or even
steal it; I'm sure Charlie won't mind - yeah right!! Yesterday I went on a mini
spending spree in New Look
they had 'buy one get one free' on their jewellery, which of course I took full
advantage of. I picked up four pieces - a Gold Beetle Ring (which you can see in this pic), a Gold Skull Necklace (yes another one), a Gold Snake Hand Chain and a Mix Shape Hand Chain in gold. It was a real bargain because
I was able to get all this nice jewellery for under a tenner!!
I would like to add that today I
ordered my first pair of Dr
Martens!! I'm so excited!!! They'll be here next week and when they arrive
you'll be the first ones to know.
Back to the usual routine tomorrow
(work) and plus seen as there’s ‘no rest for the wicked’; I'm out wedding
anniversary/birthday shopping for my parents on Monday.
It's a cruel world!!
I'm such a drama queen...
