Evening All!!!
How are we all this evening??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
I'm still feeling a little out of it
myself; but I'm popping to the doctor tomorrow to see what’s wrong.
God I'm tired!!
And I know I say that a lot but it
seems to be a reoccurring theme this week.
Maybe the universe is telling me to
be a hermit??
Who am I to deny the universe!!
Anyway...
This was me earlier today when I came
back from an outing in good old London
town.
This week I wanted to pop up to London to find out where
I would be doing my work experience. The last thing I wanted to do was turn up
on Monday two hours late. Beforehand I went for a quick coffee with Leah as she
now works on Old Bond Street.
I headed up to Green Park Station which was a bit frantic, as I ran for the
East Croydon train, then waited for the London Victoria train, I then headed to
the underground and realising how much I hated the underground. When I finally
got Green Park Station I went out the wrong entrance; but I have to admit the
wrong entrance was a pretty one. I walked out on the Buckingham Palace side with all the greenery which I loved.
I eventually went to the right entrance and met Leah. We headed to Starbucks where I say we
had 'coffee' loosely, as I had water and Leah had a cup of tea. Even though it
was only for about 20 minutes, it was really good to see her and have a little
chat. Afterwards I did see where she worked (so posh); my allergies of course
hated it (I don't eat chocolate) but pretty none the less. I soon left Leah and
walked down Old Bond Street; I have a feeling I drooled on the Dolce & Gabbana
windows as I walked past (I apologise to those who were working). To cut a long
story short I walked all the way from Old
Bond Street to Covent Garden.
It was a long walk and I got lost (pretty bad for a born and bred Londoner);
but as soon as I saw Tatty
Devine I knew where I was. I pretty much did a really scenic route for a
walk that should have taken half the time. I did find where I will be doing my
work experience so at least that's sorted. On the way back in to Covent Garden I had a creepy guy start talking to me,
note to any blokes reading this - don't tell girls they're beautiful and touch
their hair in the middle of the street!! It's weird!! I did resist going in to
any shops apart from Rokit,
which I had no idea that they had a shop there. I had a brief look in there as
I'm broke and I was slowly shutting down by then. I did have a look around Covent Garden (don't worry I didn't hover outside the Royal Opera House for too
long); the Christmas decorations are really pretty. They have massive baubles
and a disco ball (which btw needs to be mine). I popped in to Caffe Nero
on the way home for a cake (which wasn't very nice) and a sandwich from Pret.
I was only out for three hours and yet it feels so much longer!!
To the outfit...
Now don't worry I didn't go out just
like this (I'm not crazy...well); I was wearing my black and white cardigan and
leather jacket from Primark.
I wanted to layer up today as I know how cold it is lately (don't I know it).
I've wanted to buy a new coat but I honestly can't afford to buy one till
January, which I don't see the point of so I'll probably hold off now. Some of
you might be thinking that the fur doesn't really go with the outfit; but I
liked it for colour and also for a neutral element. Look at this spiffing maxi
skirt isn't it pretty!! Yes this is my new Urban Outfitters Maxi Skirt that I picked up for a tenner
on Saturday. I really like this skirt I think it sits really nicely and shapes
me well (Charlie said I look slim...yayay); I like the tribal print because
it's not too vibrant but has all the right colours. Plus for a tenner who can
complain!! I decided to pair it with grey today as I had this outfit in my head
since Saturday. I wasn't quite sure when I paired it this morning, so that’s
why I added the gilet to break it up a bit. I kept the jewellery really simple
I wore my Silver Spike Hoops and my usual skull rings.
Well I'm knackered!!
I'm gonna have an early morning
tomorrow because of the doctors and I might see my Nan.J.
There literally is no rest for the
wicked!!
But I do have Saturday at home...so I
must be a good girl!!
Yeah right!!
B x
