Good Morrow Everyone!!
It's a 'lovely' day today (notice how
I use the term lovely loosely).
Are we all enjoying the winter
months??
Don't worry I'm on the fence as well.
I do love wearing the chunky knits
and hiding under the duvet; but I miss the days where I could walk outside with
a denim jacket on and not freeze to death.
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
Yesterday's plans were last minute as
I originally planned on spending the day at home; but when my Mum promised me
an IKEA breakfast I
knew I couldn't refuse. I got changed in a flash which meant not make up (hence
why my face is covered); and I chucked on my trusty beanie. The only problem
with IKEA breakfasts
is that I don't eat half of it; that is why I have to have a kiddie’s breakfast
which consists of three items. Naturally two of them are hash browns as I love
them; the other is egg and just to keep in with the theme I used plastic
cutlery (I'm so weird). I enjoyed my breakfast and I am quite enjoying eating
breakfast at the moment; of course when it's a fry up I'm naturally going to
enjoy it more. After feeding ourselves we walked through IKEA and I saw a Mount Wordsworth!!
I was so happy that I went up to it and hugged it. I really am odd... The best
part of IKEA was the
travelator, which Dad and I got excited about it that we even put our hands up.
We then headed to ASDA,
where O M G you should all check out their George G21 range. The range has taken inspiration from the Wild
West, with lasso prints and rodeo inspired t-shirts. Come pay day half of the
collection will be in my wardrobe!! I did see an Aurora birthday cake which made me angry, as
they didn't think of doing that a month ago when it was my birthday!! Odd
child... I lead a boring life I really do!!
To the outfit...
You might have noticed the post title
which I took from the song Like a Boy - Ciara. I really do feel like I stole this outfit
from my brother or my boyfriend; I have neither of those so this outfit for me
represents comfort rather then style. I was originally planning on dressing up
for ASDA because I can; but
I decided with the early morning and the lack of time chucking on a hoody was
more appropriate. I am wearing two items of men’s clothing in this outfit, one
is my Primark hoody and
the other is my River
Island t-shirt. I picked this t-shirt up a couple of months ago while I was
out shopping. I popped in to River Island just to have a look and decided to look at the
men’s section, which for graphic t-shirts I absolutely love. I saw this top and
knew I had to have it. I love that it says 'Frat Party' on it and also the
writing at the bottom says 'Summer of '69'. My favourite Bryan Adams song is Summer of '69
so it was a no brainer I needed it. It was £7 or £8 in the sale and it was a
done deal by then. I would recommend all you guys to check out the men’s
sections, cause sometimes they do better things then women’s (except when it
comes to sparkles).
It's going to be a pretty basic week
as I have another busy weekend.
I'm currently relaxing on the sofa
watching 'The Real Housewives of New York City', (my absolute guilty
pleasure) after doing my chores for the day which I feel good about.
Should I do more chores??
Nah!!
