Afternoon Everyone!!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
I'm still full of cold so whenever I
wake up my nose tingles.
Not good but hey here's hoping it
goes.
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me yesterday after I ran
some errands in town.
Now I originally planned on
hibernating this week (well apart from Tuesday); but unfortunately I had run
out of food...well not exactly run out but I was craving something I didn't
have. So I decided to pop in to town not only to pick up some food; but River Island just happened to have a 20%
off Student Shop-in and I thought why not. I didn't exactly wake up very early
as I'm not sleeping very well at the moment; I seem to be up at 1 or 2 in the
morning which is unlike me. So eventually I rolled out of bed and spent forever
getting ready (as I usually do). Again I couldn't figure out what to wear but
more on that later. I wish someone would have told me how cold it was
yesterday, because O M G I literally froze to death yesterday (well not
literally). I eventually got in to town and headed straight to River Island. I bought a necklace off
the website last week and when I received it, it wasn't exactly what I expected
it to be so I decided to take it back. It was really cheap but I thought that
money could be put to something else, rather then keeping a necklace that I
would never wear. Initially I was looking for a beanie but there wasn't one
that really stood out, so I was about to give up and just get a refund when I
stumbled upon a t-shirt. Now I initially saw this Black
New York City Oversized T-shirt on the website but my size was sold out. So
when I saw it in the shop hiding behind another top, I knew it was meant to be.
I think £15 is a reasonable price, but with the money off it from the necklace
and 20% student discount it was a steal at £9.60!! It really is oversized but I
do love a baggy top. I picked up the Look
magazine and Company after hunting it
down. I was home within an hour and a half I really didn't spend much or do
anything. Well tell a lie I froze that's something.
To the outfit...
Now as I said I had no idea what to
wear with the cold weather, (I use the word cold loosely as it is freezing).
The only guaranteed thing I know to wear is boots! I don't own a lot of jumpers
(although it looks like it); so I try and layer up to keep warm unfortunately
that doesn't work. Even though I've found my pea coat (I say me but really my
Mum actually found it); but I'm still reluctant to wear it as I want to keep
wanting to wear my leather and camouflage jackets. I wanted to wear my hoody as
it's fleecy and I thought it would be the best option to keep me warm, plus I
always like matching it with my camouflage jacket. I wanted to keep a plain
base of just black and white and have the pop of colour with the blue hoody. I
will briefly mention my fingerless gloves that I think they are the best invention;
the only problem is I feel like a tramp with them on. I definitely need to
invest in a good pair of gloves, because that is something I don't actually
own.
I'm currently relaxing on the sofa
with my Mum and Lilly, while watching The
Real Housewives of New York City!!
This is pretty much my life at the
moment.
Do I need some excitement in my
life??
Nah!!
B x
