Evening Everyone!!
Have we all had a good Saturday??
I've certainly had a busy one!!
It's one of those days where you knew what was coming; but you didn’t realise how tired you would be.
I am knackered btw!!
Although that's not surprising after being up till midnight watching Vampire Diaries, (I blame Charlie) and then waking up at 5 something this morning and not falling back to sleep for AGES!!
Pretty much I'm dead (clearly not literally).
Anyway...
This was me earlier today (about an hour ago); after a day out in Bluewater with Charlie.
So like I said today Charlie and I planned on going to Bluewater to start our Christmas shopping. Well it is the 1st December so what better time like the present (ha ha see what I did there). I didn't exactly get up early after our late night so by the time we got to my Nan.J's and left; it was past 11am which definitely wasn't planned. Soon enough we were on our way to shop till we drop (basically), there was some traffic on the M25 but that soon cleared. I will say one thing when we got to Bluewater pretty much most of the car parks were full it was insane. We found a space over in the Plaza area (I think); and made our way in to shop. Bluewater was busy but I've seen worse (anyone who's been to London knows). We first hunted down the parentals present which no joke nearly gave me a heart attack. But within the hour I managed to calm down. We had lunch at Giraffe again which was really nice; they had a massive giraffe covered in the Beano. After getting the Nan's something it was time to look for ourselves. I was a good girl and only bought one thing, which was a bag from Forever 21; Charlie treated herself in Forever 21 and Nine West (oh I did get rolls from M&S). The Disney Store provided my Christmas present from Charlie which I'm excited about. Overall we ended up spending 5 hours there which we still don't know how that happened!! It's been a very long day!!
To the outfit...
I still feel like I'm dressing like a 15 year old tramp (yes I've made myself younger); in this outfit which is odd as I am 20. I was originally going to do a maxi skirt/cosmic trainer combination, but I decided against it and wanted something simpler. I'm naturally wearing my trusted beanie even though I washed my hair yesterday (I'm such a good girl). I wanted to put on my men’s hoody because it's fleecy and I knew it would keep me warm, if only I could wear it for work but I think they would have my guts for garters. This is probably the last time you will see these boots for a while; as literally the heel on the right foot is hanging off so I'm gonna glue it back on. I literally can't find a replacement which means these are not going anywhere. I'm wearing a new t-shirt today. Charlie picked this up for me last week when she helped out at Tate Britain's Label event. As an honorary member of Tate Collective I like to get free t-shirts when I can, so Charlie kindly picked one up for me and I love it. The fact that it says 'Who am I?' I think is pretty cool, it's a clever slogan but it's also a really valid question. On the bottom and on the back it does say Tate Collective, so it's a nice one to layer up with a skater skirt or maxi skirt. I wasn't baking hot in Mildred in this ensemble, not so much walking around but at least I looked good!!
I'm on relax mode now as you know I have work tomorrow (boo); doesn't help that now I have to start later and finish later. I turned round and said I couldn't finish late tomorrow.
As it is nearly Christmas (24 days) Charlie and I are watching Beauty and the Beast - The Enchanted Christmas; I love this movie as it reminds me of my childhood and how much I loved Christmas. It does change as you get older...bah humbug!!
Now to snack or not snack that is the question!!
To snack!!
B x
