Hey guys!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
I currently have a migraine that I induced by listening to the 'Rock of Ages' soundtrack.
That doesn't seem too bad (which it isn't); but I had it on sooooooo loudly!!
Yes I gave myself a migraine...
I got to listen to Diego Boneta serenading me so I don't mind.
Kinda sucks though because I wanted too finish my book by Thursday!!
Doesn't sound too bad...I have 200 pages left!!
Yep completely bad!!
I'm so weird when it comes to reading a book.
I'll go through days where all I'll do is read and others when I don't...
Is that normal??
When am I ever normal??
BABBLING!!
Anyway...
I'm finally back with an OOTD after taking a week off.
YAYAYAY!!
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after I went for round 2 of my interview.
Yes I actually got dressed and left the house and remembered to take a photo - miracle!!
I got an email on Saturday saying congratulations you're through to the interview stage. I initially didn't say anything and then when I realised what I was reading I told the family. I honestly didn't believe I would get through to the next stage. When it finally sunk in, I started memorising the facts again and making sure I knew everything. I have literally spent two weeks learning the same facts, but having that amount of time helped. My biggest problem about the interview was figuring out what to wear; (but I will go in to that later). I haven't really thought about today or what to expect, so you can imagine my surprise when my nerves kicked in. I was soooooooooooooo nervous which is unusual for me, because I'm honestly never nervous at interviews. What was even more funny is that I already have two jobs, so why am I nervous about getting this one?? I think I can answer that question - it's because I want this job. I need something to replace my Sunday job and this would be a great opportunity. Anyway!! I turned up for the interview with 10 minutes to go, (I thought I was going to be late but thankfully not). I think I waited for about 15 mins I until I was greeted by the store manager. I always get nervous about the first handshake, because you need to make sure that its firm. I think my handshake changed half way through the actual thing. We then went in to one of the training rooms for the actual interview. It was good (I think) and the store manager was really easy to talk to. I think he understood my weirdness which is always a good sign and overall he was a nice person to talk to. I felt calm after my interview but I still felt really nervous (again not like me). The second part of the interview was for me the worst part. I had to go on to the shop floor and help customers etc. Now I know my day jobs are retail; but I rarely get the chance to help customers except for when they make purchases. So I was really unsure about how this was going to go. I did help a customer but not as well as I would like, (cause I didn't know where anything was). I then had to help a customer who turned out to be a member of staff playing a customer. I honestly didn't know I was being set up; but you know when you have an idea but you're not sure. I think it went alright; but I do think I may have messed up that part (just a bit). I then went back downstairs, picked up my stuff and headed home. Overall I think it was a good experience and I can learn a lot from my experience, whether I get offered the job or not. I should find out by the end of the week.
Fingers crossed!!
To the outfit...
O M G I hate figuring out outfits for interviews because I never know what to wear. It is without doubt the most hardest thing in the WORLD!! Ok I'm probably exaggerating but still I find it so hard. I know every time I have an interview I bring this up, but I think it's a subject that needs to be addressed. Anyway after days of figuring out what to wear, I watched a video on StyleSuzi's channel on her experience at London Fashion Week. In one of the outfits she wore a combination of baseball jacket, pink jumper and black skirt, which I thought was so unusual. So I guess you could say I decided to wear the knock off version in this picture. I originally was going to wear a blue jumper and shirt; but I changed my mind this morning and decided on pink. I paired a floral shirt from River Island with my pink H&M jumper for a different combination. I liked the idea of having the floral collar popping out of the plain jumper and on top of the black and white. I wore my short black skirt because I didn't want to look too dowdy, (I always do in a longer skirt). I added jewellery with crosses on it, and also I decided to wear my spiked flats for a tough look.
Well my migraine is worse!!
I'm at the point where little noises really annoy me and I'm ready to snap. I know I shouldn't have done a post today but I wanted to get it up.
Knowing me I'll probably start watching YouTube videos!!
I never learn...

I've Seen A Million Faces, An I've Rocked Them All...

Hey everyone!!
It's Sunday!!
I can't believe another week has gone already!!
I've been a naughty blogger this week as not only did I not have my laptop; but I was so tired or in an 'I can't be bothered' mood to take photos.
I know I've been bad and I apologise!!
I do have some good news though...
I HAVE MY LAPTOP BACK!!!!
YAYAYAY!!
My adapter wasn't working and because my battery is rubbish, the adapter wasn't charging my laptop blah blah blah etc. On Friday I picked up a new adapter (they're so damn expensive); so now I'm back on my laptop and I'm soooooooooo happy.
I've had such a busy week like seriously this blog should be full of posts.
(Again sorry!!)
I did a lot of running errands, work and a Friday night party (happy 18th to my cousin Lyndsey).
I can't wait to go back to hermit time!!
Anyway...
I think I should get on with it!!
Now as it is Sunday that can only mean on thing...Sunday playlist!!
I actually can't believe it’s been a week since my last one.
I know last weeks playlist was quite a selfish and personal playlist, which is quite unusual for me. So this week is completely opposite to last week’s playlist. Now this weeks is a normal playlist like I used to do (yes I'm back to those). This week has been so easy to pick a theme (yes it's a theme), which is unusual for me especially recently. My mind has been so occupied with other things; that picking a theme or an artist has been the last thing on my mind. But I'm so glad I'm finally back to normal!! My head is still full of nonsense but I feel normal again (if you can believe that).
Wow I babble don't I??
GET ON WITH IT!!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Sunday playlist!!
This week I've had this theme in my head since I watched this film on Tuesday. It's also a hit musical in the West End and I think it might have been on Broadway. Yes it is none other then ‘Rock of Ages’!! I am now obsessed with this film!! I love the combination of the songs and the characters in the film. I was already a fan of most of the songs before I watched the film, and I really like the way they interpreted and mashed them together. Oh and whoever came up with the idea of having Russell Brand and AlecBaldwin fall in love is a complete GENIUS!! I literally want them to get together in real life and have hairy babies. After watching the film I did get a bit worried - let me explain. I have always been adverse to Tom Cruise's allure; but after watching him as Stacee Jaxx I don't know what to think. You see I don't know if I'm now crushing on Tom or Stacee...It's confusing!! And who knew he could sing - literally who knew?? I have not stopped listening to 'Wanted Dead or Alive' all week, it's such a good song and I like Tom's take on it. ‘Rock of Ages’ is such a feel good film and if you haven't watched it - DO IT!! I waited ages before I got to watch it and it is well worth the wait.
Now I love pretty much all the songs; but here are just a few that I like a little bit more then the others.
So sit back, relax and ENJOY!!

But I Think I Will Have Seen Everything, When I See An Elephant Fly...

Monthly Want - February

I've been a very naughty blogger and I apologise!!
You see I have been out every day this week and yet I've only done the one post. Apart from Monday I have been going out with no make-up on, so I don't want to keep doing photos of me with my face covered. It's simply because it takes me far too long to do my makeup and I always wake up late. I promise in future that I will try and make an effort.
Anyway...
First things first - I'm early!!
Yes I'm two days early but that is because I have planned outfit posts and unfortunately there is a clash. Now I could be a really good blogger and do two posts in one day; but I'd rather leave it so I do at least one a day. So yes this post is early (I never do it right and I apologise again).
Now can I just take a second to say HOW AWESOME IS THIS??
It's oversized, comfy and of course Disney - literally made for me!! I discovered the tracksuits that ASOS do oh so well, back when they did ther Barbie one. Unfortunately I was not luckily enough to bag one of those, so I've always kept a look out for new ones. You can tell how happy I was when I found this one on the website. It's DUMBO!! I KNOW!! Not only is this tracksuit comfortable, it's cute as well with little Dumbo. I know I'm not a tracksuit person and in one I'd feel a bit like my Nan.M; but I absolutely love these. They're almost to me an outdoor pair of pyjamas (scrap the onesies); which is an idea that I am completely on board with. The fact that you can transform something that has always been associated with chavs, in to a real statement piece in your wardrobe is really good. I love the ideas of sticking Disney characters on sweatshirts. I know they do other designs and characters, which I completely love!! I know £30 is a bit pricey; but I think you'd certainly get your wear out of it. I know Dumbo isn't in the most practical of colours; but if you're a true fan of him I don't think you'd be complaining. I hope ASOS continue to do these as I think they're a brilliant idea.
If only they did buy one get one free or half price, it would make life sooooooooo much easier!!
ASOS please take notes...thank you kindly!!

I Pray That Love Don't Strike Twice...

Top(s) - Primark
Trousers - Warehouse
Jacket - Primark
Boots - Shoe Zone
Bag - Ebay
Jewellery - H&M / New Look & Gift
Hey everyone!!
How are we all??
Good?? Maybe...
Bad?? On occasion...
Ugly?? NEVER!!
I'm strangely tired today...
I know you're thinking I'm always tired but I don't see why today.
I woke up about 10 something and feeling lifeless; but even then I only usually feel this tired after a shift at work.
Maybe my tiredness from work yesterday has rolled over to today.
Can it do that?? Roll over??
Maybe it can...
I'm babbling again!!
Anyway...
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after I went for an audition/interview thing.
Yes I had another interview today!!
I know you guys are probably thinking 'how many jobs does one person need??' Well only two but I feel as if I've outgrown one of them, (I won't say which one but it's pretty obvious). I applied for this job (I won't tell you what it is just in case I don't get it); on Tuesday and by Thursday I got an email congratulating me. I honestly wasn't expecting that at all but I was happy when I saw it. I was to come in on the 19th (today) for an audition/interview thing. Now I call it a thing because I'm not quite sure what to call it. I don't know if it's much of an audition; but you definitely have a sense that everything you do or everything you say is being watched or heard. I got there 20 minutes early but thankfully I wasn't the only one; soon the number of people got bigger to the point where there were 12. It was quite funny because we were sitting in a little front room set up in the furniture department. We were all getting to know one and other and having a chat. When 2pm rolled around we were taken in to a training room, where we had to sit down on three different tables. The head of recruitment gave us a quick brief about what was going to happen. Next we filled out forms and did all the admin stuff before moving on. So our main task for the audition/interview was to create a character profile and find an outfit to match. The scariest part of it all was that at the end of it all we had to do a presentation. We started by making notes about who 'Alex' (that's was his name); is and what his personality etc. There were four of us in the group and there was a guy called James who took charge. We all pitched ideas and soon enough it was time to pick the outfit. This was quite fun as I got to dabble in menswear. Ultimately I was happy that they went for the t-shirt and leather shirt I picked out. It was really fun seeing different people’s opinion on what he should or shouldn't wear. Finally we went downstairs again and did our presentations. We were group 2 and the waiting around was torture; but I was really happy with the presentation and I don't think I did too badly. We got to leave after the presentation and we all walked out together, said goodbye and I ran for the bus like a mad woman. I like interviews because you get to meet new people and it helps with confidence and social skills. This was round one so we'll see what happens!!
To the outfit...
Ok can someone please tell me what you wear to interviews?? It is the most HARDEST outfit you will ever have to put together. I remember my Primark one I wore of one of their £10 dresses they used to do. Debenhams, Kurt Geiger and Benefit I wore the same black top but in different variations. For the Oasis one I naturally wore of the three pieces I own that is actually Oasis. Now for this interview they said dress smart but showing you're natural dress sense. My natural dress sense is what I call '16 year old tramp', so I had to think long and hard about interpreting me in to a smart outfit. I definitely wanted an element of who I am in the outfit, so I went for a monochrome base with a motif and florals. Now let me talk about this spanking new t-shirt from Primark. As I mentioned in my Wednesday post, I had popped to Primark recently and picked up a few things. One of the things I did pick up was this really cool Frankenstein t-shirt from the men's department. I saw it in a small and I had to hunt it down to find it, thankfully I found an XL hiding at the back of one of the rails. Not only is this t-shirt so frigging cool; but it was only £3!! £3!! I KNOW!! BARGAIN!! You can tell I'm a happy bunny!!
 Well it’s 11pm!!
You see my laptop has packed up and I need to either get an adapter or a new laptop. But as I am useless with technology, I need someone to tell me what to do. So for now I'm using Charlie's baby book (netbook); which is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo small!! I feel like I've stolen a child’s computer; plus my hands are too big for it. Yeah generally hate it but it does the job.
I think tomorrow might be a boring day but hey you know what that means...
HERMIT TIME!!!

But I Can Feel And I Can Cry...

Happy Sunday!!
I hope you all had a good weekend!!
I must admit mine was pretty boring...so normal really!!
Last week I thought I was going to be pretty busy this week - yeah that didn't happen!
I did have work on Monday, Tuesday my email was hacked (don't ask); Wednesday I popped out for doughnuts and Company Magazine, Thursday, Friday and Saturday I was at home.
Pretty boring week but I promise you will see me more this week.
I did have a pretty bad morning, as I was sent home from work after constant crying and breathlessness (again don't ask). I did meet up with Mum and Charlie so I did cheer up, especially when my lovely sister told me what my 21st birthday present is...
Need I say anymore!!
I did pick up a new foundation which is the same Benefit one I always use.
Anyway...
Now on to the task in hand!!
It's Sunday Playlist time!!
Yes it's that time of the week again.
Doesn't time fly??
Now as you know I'm a big lover of themes and artists that I favour every week; but this week I might do something different. I've had probably one of the worst weeks of my life (no exaggeration); so I really need to do something special. There are so many of my playlists that have focused on someone I've admired or a theme that I love. Whether it's musicals, Katy Perry, Legally Blonde: The Musical or even ones to make me sleep; these playlists have focused on those people and their songs. I know this may sound selfish but for so long I have focused on other people. Whether it's what they want or what they need and I’ve had enough. This week I'm going to focus on me (don't worry I'm not going to use my own videos).
This week I want to do a playlist of songs that represent me and poignant moments in my life (good and bad). These songs have helped shape memories that will live with me forever. Whether I've sung along to these while crying or in a moment of sheer happiness, I have felt as if every word represents who I am in that moment. Maybe there are some of these songs that you feel connected to, maybe you have a memory of that song or perhaps you have your own. These songs are varied and some may not make sense; but they do to me no matter how odd they may be. I do apologise if this sounds like I'm wallowing in sorrow or my past in general; but sometimes you have to look back in order to move forward (someone said that didn't they). So without further ado I'll get on with it!!
So sit back, relax and ENJOY!!
