Happy Sunday!!
I hope you all had a good weekend!!
I must admit mine was pretty boring...so normal really!!
Last week I thought I was going to be pretty busy this week - yeah that
didn't happen!
I did have work on Monday, Tuesday my email was hacked (don't ask);
Wednesday I popped out for doughnuts and Company Magazine, Thursday, Friday and
Saturday I was at home.
Pretty boring week but I promise you will see me more this week.
I did have a pretty bad morning, as I was sent home from work after constant
crying and breathlessness (again don't ask). I did meet up with Mum and Charlie
so I did cheer up, especially when my lovely sister told me what my 21st
birthday present is...
DISNEYLAND PARIS!!!!
Need I say anymore!!
I did pick up a new foundation which is the same Benefit one I always
use.
Anyway...
Now on to the task in hand!!
It's Sunday Playlist time!!
Yes it's that time of the week again.
Doesn't time fly??
Now as you know I'm a big lover of themes and artists that I favour
every week; but this week I might do something different. I've had probably one
of the worst weeks of my life (no exaggeration); so I really need to do
something special. There are so many of my playlists that have focused on
someone I've admired or a theme that I love. Whether it's musicals, Katy Perry,
Legally Blonde: The Musical or even ones to make me sleep; these playlists have focused on
those people and their songs. I know this may sound selfish but for so long I have
focused on other people. Whether it's what they want or what they need and I’ve
had enough. This week I'm going to focus on me (don't worry I'm not going to
use my own videos).
This week I want to do a playlist of songs that represent me and
poignant moments in my life (good and bad). These songs have helped shape
memories that will live with me forever. Whether I've sung along to these while
crying or in a moment of sheer happiness, I have felt as if every word
represents who I am in that moment. Maybe there are some of these songs that
you feel connected to, maybe you have a memory of that song or perhaps you have
your own. These songs are varied and some may not make sense; but they do to me
no matter how odd they may be. I do apologise if this sounds like I'm wallowing
in sorrow or my past in general; but sometimes you have to look back in order
to move forward (someone said that didn't they). So without further ado I'll
get on with it!!
So sit back, relax and ENJOY!!
B x
