Sunday, Sweet Sunday, With Nothing To Do...

SUUUUUUUNNNNNDDDDDAAAAAYYYY!!!!
Yes it's that day that I partly love but mostly hate!!
Today has been a very long boring day...
I'll tell you how bad it was - by 12pm Antonia and I were playing 'I Spy', there was literally nothing else to do!!
I definitely don't miss work when I'm not there.
I did do a lot today which is not like me at all; (yes I'm that annoying person who will have a conversation while I'm serving you).
I can honestly say I actually worked today!!
Surprisingly enough I've actually had a quiet week.
Well apart from errands on Monday, Beyond Retro Design Archive Tour on Tuesday and yesterday I went to Tunbridge Wells with Charlie. I think overall my favourite days were Wednesday - Friday, where all I did was sit at home and do sod all. I must admit by Friday I was really fidgety and did feel very bored; what surprised me the most is that I sat through two films.
I never sit through films!!
I'm constantly flicking through the channels to keep busy and entertained.
Anyway...
I'm completely going off subject for some ungodly reason!!
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
Today is SUNDAY!!
Now as its Sunday you know what’s coming...Sunday Playlist!!
YAYAYAYAY!!!
The one day where I pester you with my weird music taste.
I love the Sunday playlists because it's a nice and easy post to do after a hard day at work.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
When it comes to thinking of themes or artists I think I'm quite good at it. I do struggle a lot as there is so much I want to do but no time to do it. Now this weeks theme (yes it's a theme) is something very close to me heart. As you guys know I love musicals and I've grown up with them, so I wanted to bring you my love of musicals again. If you think about it ‘musicals’ is such a varied genre and there is no way I could ever get it done to 6 songs. So in the interest of you and me I decided to break it down in to a sub-genre (I feel like I'm in media). But even a sub-genre is too much so I decided to break it up even more. I decided (in the end) to pick a composer or two. Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein the Second are two of the composers who have made a big impact in my life. They've not only written the greatest musicals not to mention the greatest songs; but they've written some of my favourite musicals. Whether adapted for the stage or screen these musicals are pure genius (hello Christopher Plummer as Captain Von Trapp - GENIUS). The hardest part is picking my favourite songs from their musicals. Now as hard as it is I think I've managed to get it down to 6 (hopefully).
Ladies and gentleman may I present the genius that is Rogers and Hammerstein!!
Sit back, relax and ENJOY!!

B x
