Hey guys!!
It's the weekend!!
BOOOO!!!
That means work tomorrow...
EXTRA BOOOOO!!!
Now before you say anything this
outfit looks better in person.
I did feel like a bit of a gangster
in this (as you do); with the bomber/puffer jacket.
I apologise for the dodgy photo!!
I literally couldn't keep me eyes open
in any of the other photos.
I blame my lazy eye and lack of
sleep!!
I'm always blaming something/someone
else...
Does that make me a bad person??
Nahhhh!!!
Anyway...
This was me earlier today after
Charlie and I popped to Tunbridge Wells.
Ok so we were meant to go to London today to pick up
some 'Book of Mormon' tickets;
but as I have selfishly spent all my money on me - that didn't happen. So
instead Charlie told me I could pick somewhere to go. I had no idea where I
wanted to go but suggestions of Bromley, London,
Brighton and Tunbridge Wells were thrown
around. Eventually we decided on Tunbridge Wells which is a childhood spot of
the Allen family. The amount of times I've walked up and down that hill and
died (not literally); are just too many to count. Charlie originally wanted me
up and out at 11am, about 12:40pm I finally got in the car ready and still as
tired as ever. (I was up till 4am - don't ask me why because your guess is as
good as mine). It didn't take too long to get there and the both of us were
having deep and meaningful conversations. The sing along did happen afterwards
but soon seized as we didn't know where we were going. Eventually we were
parked up in Tunbridge Wells and ready to go. We started our day with walking
through Fenwick's in the shopping centre,
where we headed straight to Topshop.
Now the first time we went in to Topshop
I wasn't really paying attention, so second time round I paid as much attention
as I could (I will come to that later). We then went across the road to New Look where I finally picked up a black
jumper. This might not be a big deal to some people but I've wanted one for 6
months!! As you know I have to wear black for work, so I really wanted a chunky
black (cheap) knit to keep me warm. When I saw one
in New Look for £19.99 I knew it had to
be mine and thankfully it now is. We decided to head back in to the shopping centre;
but there wasn't really anywhere we wanted to go. Now by this time Charlie was
demanding food so we headed down the big hill. Right so going down the big hill
isn't too bad but going up is TORTURE!! We went to Carluccio's for lunch/dinner and it was
super busy (did I just say super busy??) We didn't have to wait for a table
(thank god) and we were served straight away. We started off with bread and
battered veggies, then Charlie had an oily pasta dish (plus a salad) and I had
a buttery pasta dish. Needless to say by the end of the meal or in Charlie's
case half way through we both felt sick. They do nice food it's just I don't
think our palettes can take it. This is when we worked off our food walking up
the hill popping in to a few charity shops. I managed to pick up an Alexon polka dot skirt and cameo studs from
Breast
Cancer Research. It's my favourite charity shop to shop in as they have
good stuff, not to mention it's a good charity to donate to. We then headed
back to Topshop
as Charlie wanted to pick up a denim shirt. O M G!! Ok so I started looking at
the clothes but didn't really want any of it (well at least for today); so I
decided to look at the sale jewellery. And O M FRIGGING G!! Pretty much 3/4 of
the sale jewellery was £1.50!! I honestly couldn't believe it, like how is this
even possible!! I bought a set of 4 rings which retail for £20 for £1.50!! HOW
IS THAT POSSIBLE!! I picked up 6 or 7 things (I can't even remember) and I'm in
love with it all. (I think I might do a haul??) I came out a happy bunny. So
Charlie I headed back in to Fenwick's
and while I popped to Mac, Charlie
made herself at home at Benefit
while she tried a few products. After making our final purchases we headed to
the car and had a sing song on the way home. I am now absolutely dead!! (Again
not literally).
To the outfit...
Ok like I said earlier this
outfit looks better in person and I didn't look this tired all day. I actually
have two new pieces to show you today. The first is my new vintage item from Beyond Retro. So as some of you may know
Beyond Retro were having a 'student'
sale for about a week. On Friday I had a goosy gander on the website and on the
men's bit I found this bomber jacket. I decided I could live without it so I
was a good girl and didn't order it. Saturday evening comes around and I'm on
the website again, I literally kept staring at it for about 10 minutes. It was
only £9 and in my preferred colours so I decided what the hell!! It came on
Wednesday and I love it. On the back it has a stag head and something along the
lines of 'Trophy Hunt' embroided. Now I don't condone hunting but I just love
the jacket. Next is my Deep Purple
t-shirt from Primark. I picked this up back in December on a whim I guess you
could say. I hadn't been to Primark in ages and decided to go in with Jaime.
Now I have no idea who Deep Purple
are (they're a band aren't they); but when I saw the pegasus on it I knew I
wanted it. I think it was about £6-£8 (something like that) and I picked it up
in an XL, but I will tell you now I couldn't have any smaller (I blame the
cookies). It's just a really cool t-shirt to chuck on, unfortunately it’s
not that long so I have to wear a vest top underneath. I have a graphic t-shirt
addiction!! Feed me!!
Well I wrote a feck load!!
I swear I write more then I
originally plan to...
Anyway I have been skipping between
writing this and watching YouTube
videos, it's like my new addiction it's literally all I do. But I'm just
relaxing as tomorrow I have work and then Monday I start my new job!! You will
all find out about that on Monday or Tuesday depending.
Eurgh work tomorrow...
SAVE ME!!
B x
