Hey guys!!
How are we all??
Good??
That's what I like to hear!!
I currently have a migraine that I induced by listening to the 'Rock of Ages' soundtrack.
That doesn't seem too bad (which it isn't); but I had it on sooooooo loudly!!
Yes I gave myself a migraine...
I got to listen to Diego Boneta serenading me so I don't mind.
Kinda sucks though because I wanted too finish my book by Thursday!!
Doesn't sound too bad...I have 200 pages left!!
Yep completely bad!!
I'm so weird when it comes to reading a book.
I'll go through days where all I'll do is read and others when I don't...
Is that normal??
When am I ever normal??
BABBLING!!
Anyway...
I'm finally back with an OOTD after taking a week off.
YAYAYAY!!
Just a quick post today!!
This was me earlier today after I went for round 2 of my interview.
Yes I actually got dressed and left the house and remembered to take a photo - miracle!!
I got an email on Saturday saying congratulations you're through to the interview stage. I initially didn't say anything and then when I realised what I was reading I told the family. I honestly didn't believe I would get through to the next stage. When it finally sunk in, I started memorising the facts again and making sure I knew everything. I have literally spent two weeks learning the same facts, but having that amount of time helped. My biggest problem about the interview was figuring out what to wear; (but I will go in to that later). I haven't really thought about today or what to expect, so you can imagine my surprise when my nerves kicked in. I was soooooooooooooo nervous which is unusual for me, because I'm honestly never nervous at interviews. What was even more funny is that I already have two jobs, so why am I nervous about getting this one?? I think I can answer that question - it's because I want this job. I need something to replace my Sunday job and this would be a great opportunity. Anyway!! I turned up for the interview with 10 minutes to go, (I thought I was going to be late but thankfully not). I think I waited for about 15 mins I until I was greeted by the store manager. I always get nervous about the first handshake, because you need to make sure that its firm. I think my handshake changed half way through the actual thing. We then went in to one of the training rooms for the actual interview. It was good (I think) and the store manager was really easy to talk to. I think he understood my weirdness which is always a good sign and overall he was a nice person to talk to. I felt calm after my interview but I still felt really nervous (again not like me). The second part of the interview was for me the worst part. I had to go on to the shop floor and help customers etc. Now I know my day jobs are retail; but I rarely get the chance to help customers except for when they make purchases. So I was really unsure about how this was going to go. I did help a customer but not as well as I would like, (cause I didn't know where anything was). I then had to help a customer who turned out to be a member of staff playing a customer. I honestly didn't know I was being set up; but you know when you have an idea but you're not sure. I think it went alright; but I do think I may have messed up that part (just a bit). I then went back downstairs, picked up my stuff and headed home. Overall I think it was a good experience and I can learn a lot from my experience, whether I get offered the job or not. I should find out by the end of the week.
Fingers crossed!!
To the outfit...
O M G I hate figuring out outfits for interviews because I never know what to wear. It is without doubt the most hardest thing in the WORLD!! Ok I'm probably exaggerating but still I find it so hard. I know every time I have an interview I bring this up, but I think it's a subject that needs to be addressed. Anyway after days of figuring out what to wear, I watched a video on StyleSuzi's channel on her experience at London Fashion Week. In one of the outfits she wore a combination of baseball jacket, pink jumper and black skirt, which I thought was so unusual. So I guess you could say I decided to wear the knock off version in this picture. I originally was going to wear a blue jumper and shirt; but I changed my mind this morning and decided on pink. I paired a floral shirt from River Island with my pink H&M jumper for a different combination. I liked the idea of having the floral collar popping out of the plain jumper and on top of the black and white. I wore my short black skirt because I didn't want to look too dowdy, (I always do in a longer skirt). I added jewellery with crosses on it, and also I decided to wear my spiked flats for a tough look.
Well my migraine is worse!!
I'm at the point where little noises really annoy me and I'm ready to snap. I know I shouldn't have done a post today but I wanted to get it up.
Knowing me I'll probably start watching YouTube videos!!
I never learn...
B x
